It’s so hard to watch. I want both sides to lose.

That might be just what he needed, Mick.
Love the guts in this side. Mainly the same players as last season – and we are getting more out of them.
Super effort by all the team. MC showing as a bit more relaxed. Good to see.5 users thanked author for this post.
26 clean sheets told some sort of story.

Whatever AB said in the post match interview – I carefully examined the footage again and again and couldn’t see why a good punch couldn’t have been made. Okay – not easy – but straight onto the scorer’s noggin had only one outcome.
Their second goal – for me – the near post not adequately covered. It was a good strike, though.
Have watched these two goals repeatedly and can’t be anything other than edgy.
I really am wanting to be positive here. Nice lad. Loadsa pressure on him. Don’t want him to feel picked on. Don’t want him to be depressed. But let’s be honest, ordinary fans – not prophets of doom – have been predicting what has been happening since the Number One Keeper announcement.
I’d give him one last go and if it goes pear-shaped – we’ll need to introduce a man with a bit more keeping experience and hope for the best.
I do really want him to have a belter against Halifax to rebuild confidence.I was amazed that we were so messy as we faced down the ten men. Sutton had looked seriously mediocre and then played as if they were the ones with the extra man.
They pulled us all over the pitch in the latter stages and holes in our defensive structure kept on opening up.2 users thanked author for this post.
Thoughts on the red card?
Personally, I thought it was an orange.Any thoughts on the Roberts booking?
I’m sure that I could hear Rene shouting for Sutton in that last 16 minutes.
Every Sutton long throw has been a foul throw.
Ref was appalling in first ten minutes. Still making mistakes but not quite as many.
The goal conceded – I really do not know what to say. Sigh!1 user thanked author for this post.
Awww.
Top man. Really pleased for him.
Have been trying to think of any forward of ours since KK 1 who: covers as much ground; makes as many challenges; trips the light fantastic better and finds more right places to be than DH.
His skills have long been there to see but many did not expect him to be as good as he is looking at this level.
And yes, Ewing looks a belting signing.
Gotta feel pleased about Horton. Boyce playing out of his skin.
Gonna have to revise my 14th position shout to ‘comfortably in the top half.’One thing I cannot get quite right in my head is Rowley’s type of play. I don’t see him as often as I expect to but you just know in your guts that he is doing a really good job.
In so many ways that was a super performance yesterday. So many improvements showing through from last season’s play.
Better positioning; stealing ball well; heavier and cleaner tackles; better passing; getting best out of defenders; more effective attacking; not dropping straight back to the edge of the box as soon as Woking moved forward etc, etc.
If Howe can keep putting in performances like that – it’s almost as good as being allowed to field 12 men.1 user thanked author for this post.
Rory in?
We know from last Autumn that AB can really dig in his heels if confronted with the adverse consequences of his planning.
I do SO want Campbell to succeed but Rory – former Iron Player of the Season – MUST surely be the better player.
Innit?3 points will do nicely.

Thanks, SYI.
Presumably no commentary anywhere?
The quality of that broadcast from Tamworth was an utter disgrace. Fact.
But, as for overall value – I got the £99 deal for the season. Adding fixtures abroad, whilst I am trying to find a bit of winter sunshine, means that I can legitimately get matches at around a fiver apiece across the season.
Ask me if I would rather have a shockingly poor quality broadcast or zilch – well, for me that’s a no brainer.
Even so, I am rather hoping that ‘the Tamworth horror’ will not be repeated all that often.Great news!
I think a certain brilliant leave by Whitehall should get an assist.

Hope you are right!
Howe really impressed. His movement was so nippy that the Tamworth defence kept losing their shape.

We genuinely looked as if we may be a plausible NL side. WELL done AB!
GK fine. Great save at the end.
Ref – 7. Got a large % right.
Only complaint – who let that ball bounce in the area when they scored?
Starbuck my MOTM. Looked really comfortable. Indeed, nobody had a below par game.
I am encouraged!
Tamworth 10th was it, last season?1 user thanked author for this post.
Checked everything: hub link etc.
This was DAZN’s fault.
Appalling coverage. An utter disgrace. At the moment, I’ll settle for any result – provided that we genuinely look as if we are a plausible NL side.
It does sound a bit that way.
Ah. Good spot.
Still makes me wonder why there were triallists involved who, presumably, are not getting a contract.Hmm. That may work for the first 10 games.
