The greatest failing was the manager insisting on playing with a system last Autumn that had long outlived its early season usefulness.

I would not disagree with the statement, only point out that after that major on field issue was sorted out.

Somebody somewhere created distracting havoc off the field, which did not help.

Had a quick look at the website it’s looking good. Talking to the Iron Trust people they were talking to Merch Labs prior to the club ditching them, after Mr Beadle approached them at their quiz night.

As for Earl,Jerry and Unity they do the clubs bidding against the Iron Trust and are nothing but very sad individuals.

    Duncan for me.

Duncan was sacked because he changed a winning team by dropping Alan Boxall and putting in Steve Baines for a Friday night game v Bury which we lost 1-0 our first defeat of the season.

When Wraith asked why he changed a winning team, Duncan replied that another director (Plumtree) thought as we were paying a lot of money for Steve Baines he ought to be playing.

Alan Boxall was PT and a schoolteacher from Cleethorpes, possibly the first long throw specialist in the game.

Wraith was not impressed that another director had the managers ear.

Clarke was a tosser as a manager and Duncan’s track record against Clarke’s proves Duncan to be better.

Should any Matlock Town fan think any of this malicious. They ought to contact the FSA who according to the Iron Trust have a professional view of WHAM.

That makes it worse, we could have had an attack minded player-manager instead of Mr Cautious don’t lose at all costs Andy Bottler. Mr I would rather draw three 0-0 games for 3 pts then win one draw one lose one for 4 pts?

Those odd points would be telling now Mr Bottler!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Both Wham and Butler have damaged our club, in different ways.

Hope Andy Bottler goes to Matlock.

Kiddy have goals throughout their team, we rely on Roberts and Whitehall, then sign this absolute lumux, he is shite and we are stuck with him.

He can’t even do the very basics like stand up on two feet.

Poor away performance based on caution and a sit in style for the first half then attack in the second.

Questionable team selections throughout the season, poor substitutions and Beck as a striker option.

Those 3 x home bore draws are now biting us in the arse.

Faustian swarming turd is an anagram of Stuart Maw fundraising.

    Just saying…….

Faustian implies, sacrificing spiritual values for power, knowledge or material gain.

    Just pointing it out.

Yugo Turnip is an anagram of Unity Group.

    Just saying………

So how much has Ramus Twat put into the Turnips account since formalising his personal fund raising?

    Just asking

Cass you are usually the voice of reason, but the toxic twosome, are often the protagonists by spitting venom first.

People will give it back, Ramus is getting off lightly regarding a liking for younger ladies, which he lied about despite being caught with his pants down (metaphorically speaking of course).

The defence of WHAM was non too clever either. Nor was attacking fellow fans with an alternative opinion about said person.

Time to leave Jerry be. While some of his views are questionable, he means well, adores the club and will go down as a legend.

I have been thinking about this quite a lot after posting a like. The slight niggle is the word ‘legend’, to be a true legend it’s time Jerry started to behave a little more civilly towards fellow Iron fans with equally as much love and passion for their club as he does.

Also his constant obvious dislike towards other fans and a certain fan group means he generates a fair amount of criticism all by himself.

Also he really needs to take a raincheck because his own fan group have possibly the most divisive of all current Iron fans as posted on other threads.

Come on Jerry behave like a true legend and not a bar room brawler.

Apparently it’s something to do with monies going into a personal account.

    Oh dear!

For clarity – Jerry didn’t mention “personal account” (if we’re looking at the same post on the cult page). He said “banking app”. Not quite the same thing.

The quote I saw said my banking app, not Unity groups or Away travel.

Will the matchday programme and pitch side announcements on substitutions now say ‘Stuart Maw no longer fund raising’?

Sorry to resurrect this but at work and looking for a giggle or two.

Shame Jerry can’t help himself when it comes to the Iron Trust, what have they done to him?

At least big Earl keeps his massive head down at away games and has ceased using his pinkies to have a go as well.

Dave Marshal on Facebook says ‘I’m bored of stupid dolls’. Interpet that however you like ;)

Knowing Dave his preferred dolls will have realistic front and back holes and full lipped open mouth!

If we’ve got the joke answers out of the way then surely the Trust has the best opportunity to canvas the opinions of over 1000 supporters so a rep. from there would seem appropriate. ( Dons tin helmet and ducks)

If they valued the Trust why do this? They could get reps from most of the fans groups in a regular meeting to achieve the same outcome, whilst not setting up 3 individuals for a sure fire beating as soon as something like ‘FCgate’ occurs.

Fair point but it is frustrating that the two afore mentioned continually berate certain organisations and are not taken to task

They also undermine the 1100 members of the Iron Trust with their vitriol.
