I class myself as a newbie on here ..that was until checked and its been nearly 2 years since i joined … doesnt time fly when your having fun !!

In all seriousness Bru remains an excellent ouTlet for me to interact with like wise Scunny fans , its difficult to explain how much i miss attending home and away like i used to prior to emigrating, i was planning on returning home more often but a few life changing events and covid scuppered those plans .. thankfully things are changing which will mean more regular trips back henceforth of course im hoping the town still have a club to support despite things appearing so bleak off the pitch at the moment.

FWIW .. IMO a pretty dam fine bunch on Bru and thanks to the guys who keep it going who ever you are.

looking at the fan images i did see DHs rent boy proper Herbert was there as was Simon Elliot and im sure although it was posted DH wouldnt be at the game there was a pic on SM of him and his motor there.

Never heard any DH chants on the HR commentary only some kid gobbing off being picked up by the radio mic.

All will become clear when the yt vids start to surface later today.

The commentary was again OK ..just ok , prefer Russ Wilcox the Cox but not overly keen on the fella actually commentating sounded like a newbie coming out with all sorts of twaddle now n then.

Finding the commentaries can be an issue especially when being fourth in the pecking order behind the Cods , Hull fc and the Hull rugby which only has 1 game remaining in the season THANKFULLY.

Wont bother with the replay as the FA cup doesnt really light my candle with the clubs current status and the KO times for night games are awful.

Some strange comments re the game overall …as mentioned Russ Wilcox and the fella commentating said it was was on the best 0-0 s they ever seen…second half sounded a lot better than the first going by what i listened to on RH

Not really fussed re the FA cup ..a run would be nice but pails into significance against getting out the NLN ..oh and having a club at all.

Lord knows how much or how many debts came with the club and also how many DH has or has not paid, also the new squad and management team needed paying for … to counter there is and continues to be numerous lines of income has been/are coming in.

Gate receipts with good attendance numbers
season tickets
parking
Many sponsorships of everything players match balls mascots signage around GP etc etc
Club shop Merchandise
New directors “fees”
1899 / 100 club scheme
FnB sub contract contract
PLUS
anything else ive missed ??

Theres no way any fan can know how the finances work out and personally i dont give a fig about DH past all i care about is the survival and future of SUFC … unless a scunny mad fan wins the lotto or a buyer can be found i reckon without DH we are fooked.

So all we have had is a third party conversation thrown up by proper Herbert on the farce book page, really is this how fans should be kept informed … very unprofessional.

SUFC has plummeted to even lower depths but alas i fear we are not at the lowest point yet ..

Jasper comments on another thread as to the future and it really does look like if DH walks it could well be the end of the club.

no wonder the SUFC Fans group FB page gets slagged oof .. anything that goes against the grain however trivial is declined .. as my post below was.

please tell me what i wrote that was deemed it worthy of being declined .. WOFT

__________DH has my backing and i hope he stays to fight on or someone buys the club he saved a few months ago … but he should go through the proper channels to make a statement to fans ie the club website not here or twitter etc .. very unprofessional IMO_________

SORRY to go off topic but i used to play in the Isle of Axholme snooker league in smoke filled halls located in Epworth , Butterwick, Owsten Ferry, Misterton and Gunness… that would be circa 44 years ago .. bloody ell where have all those years gone ? ..still love to play billiards n Snooker though my son beats me too often n too easy.

Alleged true , accurate or incorrect and pure guesswork who knows …. but from the early days of his Bru postings i have been of the mind that POSSIBLY IB is connected to Swan in some capacity.

I am so fed up with all the recent events basically since Swans reign and then DH took over.
