Had to chuckle as the Cods had the pleasure of Mr Wishart commentating yesterday at FGR .. lots of comments on fishy re just how bad a commentator he is constantly getting names and info wrong and not keeping up with play .. personally i thought the guy Ollie did a decent job .. sadly as previously mentioned HR are always late to go live which is very annoying missing the pre match team sheet, walk out and even kick off .

Mr Herbert does seem to have the knack of attaching himself to the SUFC hierarchy .. he was Hiltons mouth piece and now sucking up to the new owners…lets hope Miichelle and Co including Simon Elliot will see the light and politely drop the loon as is will surely become a liability in the future the way he likes to gob off.

IMO .. be nice to have a cup run and any prize money most welcome alas i think this fixture has dropped at a bad time it would have been way better to have had another home or away NLN fixture to get 3 points and feed off the reaction from the poor KL showing, trusting JD can get a reaction from the players after such a lackluster performance.

Fitz half volley pass to Whitehall in the build up to the Butterfield goal was excellent… on the reverse side we have seen the odd dropped bollock involving Fitz n Evans if i recall correctly, cant see Chappo getting a sniff of a start anytime soon unless Fitz gets injured.

Off the radar recently as been on a rural Isan expedition to buy a rubber plantation and suffice to say …..WOW been a lot going on whilst ive been away , seems SUFC playing well and scoring plenty of goals since the last game i recall was the terrible Chester away fixture.
I noticed players going out on loan but without trawling through numerous threads can someone gimme an update how things are off the pitch re GP and directors etc… i trust Mr Hilton has returned all the season ticket , sponsorship and 1899/100 club loot.

Back in the metropolis so as for tomorrow hoping for another home win and a big attendance though this is a possible banana skin as previously mentioned.

When i managed to find the commentary it was OK … this guy Penberthy (i think) and Torps did a good job giving the listener a good idea of the area of the pitch the passage of play was in ..must say way better that Wishart who should be never allowed near a football commentary mic ever again.

Cant remember where i read it but a guy on SM had the idea of when possible moving away fans to the side seating and giving the whole of the away end to schools and organizations similar to the community days, gets kids and possibly mums n dads plus those who would not attend interested and extra revenue from sales in the shop and FnB.

TJO seems like other clubs are already sniffing about ..York being openly mentioned as approaching players /agents and with Neil “has to be braver” Cox there should not be a surprise to anyone.

DSF out on loan already by the sound of things and can see other fringe players departing , i just hope the club can keep the first team together as will give us an excellent chance of promotion.

Be interesting this one as for whatever reason in the past Scunny have more than often slipped up against sides at the bottom and seemingly struggling…

i think this will be tighter closer game than most expect even after the Spennymoor goal fest ..
