Seemingly Glanford Park is part of the global conspiracy of lizardmen to bring in the great totalitarian state of neo-Marxism via capitalist economics. Harness will be attending the WEF this year, no doubt.

Never have been a fan of ” This is it take it or leave it” !

I would stop buying any extras ! Don’t get it, this will alienate and at this time that is not the way to go.

Reading many of the comments most are against it offering up many reasons and some erring on calling the decision hypocritical.

No doubt about charges for cash as if cards don’t charge.Perhaps they could have “your cash transactions sponsored by” on a tannoy in the booth. They’ve seemingly monetised everything bar breathing

It does seem that way 64 …. i note no sponsor for the bog seats yet …Comorn Glyn get yer finger out !!

414 hit the nail on the head WHAM paid just enough bills to keep the longer game money grab scam going.. season ticket money , share options, maybe even gate receipts club shop sales etc.

Hindsight is a wonderful thing and at least thats all in the past the club has survived and in a much better place in all aspects. Im confident the Iron will return to the EFL at some point in the next 5 – 10 years…HOPEFULLY debts all paid off next month . ground safe and owners who care all in all not been a bad few months, im even quite pleased we didnt get promoted now as no way were ready for the NL and very likely JD would still be here.

As for Hilton hes gone and for now i trust quote “enjoying his life away from football” though im sure hes harboring thoughts of where next to have a go next.

Buxton each way (top 3 finish)

£72.50 back if they finish second or third.

A seasons entertainment for less than the cost of one Indian meal at the local Punjabi Palace.

    IMG-5074

Tasty wager Rene .. hope it comes in for you …………..each way obviously and Scunny are above Buxton !!!.. sorry forgot to take mi meds this morning n still a bit unstable hence that ridiculous prediction.

Just dont get this third keeper coming in (if it happens) ..makes zero sense and a waste of money that could go to other areas where we do look light especially with some in the squad being so injury prone.
For such an obvious unnecessary addition to be even considered im of the mind there must be whispers in the wind re Fitz” future.

IMO with so much talk re the budget and how tight things are to have 3 keepers in a 20 man NLN squad is just not necessary. Last season we only had one keeper for spells and when we did have 2 the second wasnt even on the subs bench.

According to Schofield he’s simply here on trial and got game time. I can’t see him being on much and was on trial at Notts County before he went to play in U.A.E, so must have something about him.

I imagine we’re planning for the future because I don’t see Fitz staying beyond this season if we don’t go up this time. Long term thinking maybe at play here.

Agree the squad is shaping up pretty well but when the pennies are tight surely you dont take an extra keeper a season in advance when vital wonga could be directed elsewhere.

Has someone come in for Fitz ? and hes in need time to decide mode that would be a shame but again possibly a nice fee involved being as hes under contract. time will tell.

In his post Bottesford interview Schof skirted around the trialist keeper subject and basically did a Manuel “i know northing”

Strange one… I can’t see us carrying 3 GK’s this season on our vastly reduced budget.

SURELY No way should/will the club have 3 keepers for the upcoming season squad, at the same time moving fixtures for amongst other things budget reasons an extra keeper simply isnt needed so would be mightily strange if it happens.

Unless of course if Fitz is leaving ????????

    The 5 recruited so far

Charton Ubo pleased looks a decent aquisition
Brogan pleased looks solid and will hopefully score a few from midfield (ala Butterfield)
Fishy pleased not sure at first but now settling in looking like a good option up front.
Nicolson pleased great bit of biz IMO solid and long throw merchant.
Rowley pleased Like the sound of this fella , good comments from Chesterfield fans

Hopefully a couple more to come in as suggested by LT be nice to see one of these a smaller nippy Sharp/HooperESK style striker goal poacher who can finish most chances.

Now half way tru July and still all quiet on the signings front … the silence is deafening…circa 26 days until KO away against Brackley.

Tad surprised at the lack of recruitment action .. squad very light on numbers bearing in mind the injury prone and suspensions that are bound to happen.

Spain showed all how the game should be played to aplomb.

Our midfield was terrible. Play to not lose is not the way to go against a dominant team.
England had the easy street route to the final. Lucky to be there the way they played in the run up.

    Bang on ..

When Palmer scored i honestly thought we would press on attack all out and go for a winner and get it ..sadly the total opposite happened , we retreated back off went defensive and allowed Spain to mount attack after attack and score .. Football was the winner Spain totally deserved their victory from the first ball kicked last month to the final they have been the best team by a mile .. and i might add seeing off the likes of Germany and France in the tough half of the draw.

Southgate surely has to go but wouldnt be surprised the FA give him another 2 years to the next WC…in which case it aint coming home anytime soon even with the best crop of talent on the planet.

    southgate out NOW

Will Wondergoals be hoisting the main sail on HMS piss the league again this year , after last seasons titanticesk voyage im guessing a more realistic evaluation of the Irons chances.

I think we’ll do well this season for what it’s worth. No clueless Jimmy Dean and a more fitter team. I obviously haven’t got a crystal ball, but I firmly believe that if we had a fitter team last year with a more clued up manager we would have gone up.

    Hope your right WGs ..

I know its early anf guesswork but whats your REALISTIC August points target anyone ???? .. 12/18 im going for.
