sadly its in their hands too – they’ll come here under no pressure – draw will be enough, never mind nicking a 1-0 win
goal difference only 2 behind ours now
and they have a easy 3 points to come on Sat while we have tricky game – as i said not hard to see us 8 points behind before we play them. We’ll be under a lot of pressure to beat them.
Boston’s goal could the biggest of the season. Just like Torpey’s at Millwall was all those years agoyet to see us handle pressure of the big team in town except Hereford away. If Tamworth win at at a decent Warrington i’d be getting nervous
Beating Holland 4-1 still the best i’ve seen England play. Didn’t Southgate learn anything!!?
Their shrewd old manager will out smart ours i suspect. They will sit back soak it up and get a goal from a set play or break away. With the loans playing he may have tried to take us on which gives us a chance. Teams know how to beat us. JD hasn’t figured out how to beat the sit back teams. Slow tip-tap round the back doesn’t work. We have to move it quicker. Hope to be wrong but i don’t see a win tonight.
can Bennet and Carver play or is same rules in NLN and not against host club?
Which match was Dean’s interview from – he seems to say the same thing after each away defeat. tip tap round the back 4 doesn’t work away from home, it only just worked on Sat at home. You need to change the approach when we are the home teams ‘cup final’ or it will be your job Mr Dean.
class player and class bloke for the donation.
Imagine if one premiership player was generous enough to i don’t know give say 1 weeks wage to the club?!4 users thanked author for this post.
perhaps we take the club over as a community asset. Meets the criteria of only one in town
no doubt they will kick us twice as hard and fall over even more often
very sad- pure class
How you react to adversity tells you a lot – miss 2 key players and no one steps up. We are going to find plenty of teams will just sit back. Win required Mon
set up to draw you lose!!

too much reacting to the opponents – impose ourselves not the other way round
can all go for me, talentless bunch and those odd couple with ability don’t give a toss

the experience we need, and with Elliott too just a centre half to go

I’ve been gobbing off since ’73, I think I’ll continue, if its all the same. Thanks for sharing your views on how to watch a match.

Didn’t look a foul to me on Thompson just a good solid challenge, no real player protest either, they know when it’s a bad challenge or a solid one. Idiot in the East Stand shouting his mouth off for about five minutes non stop ranting and raving and being abusive about it all. He’s entitled to his opinion as I am mine, mate if your reading this your a pratt. Go away and study the game a bit more.
I was ranting for 5 mins but i assume there was someone else too. As no one told me to shut up. And if you were near by you would have heard i was not ranting at the tackle which was clearly 50:50 but that the Cobbler could see Thompson was hurt and yet he tried to pick him up. The rest was just trying to wind him up, the same with having a go at Hoskins for all his moaning. And if you are going to allow someone their opinion calling them a prat says more about you.
Hill in the Gazette “Myself and Joe are on the same page, it just comes down to our embargo and other people within the football club negotiating” I take that as a not coming then Mr Chairman. And if not Keith finally realising he has no chance of keeping us up with Swan at the helm
Looks an odd starting 11 on what weve seen. Green please no and i’m not a fan of Hippo either. Pugh and Rowe together not the experience for their jobs yet. In Hill we trust that he’s seen something in 10 days we haven’t seen all season.
I know a Stockport fan and a Torquay and they are both worried about the future. Its the last season with no spending restrictions. A lot of non league teams (bar 2 who go up) will be in trouble next season.
And next season can be different in the way the one after we nearly went out last time. 3 signings and boom.
The margins in this league are small – a fit Kenyon makes a difference on last Saturday performance. It’s just who finds a Rick Green for one season to take you up.Sorry but not seeing this great Hippo performance – 2nd half he improved and did well first half he couldn’t make a decent pass and he was in some good positions. Once he took the ball in 20 yards of space made no attempt to turn and go forward just passed it back to Taft. Agree his best game but not outstanding. Leave that to Pugh tackling/break up play was superb and Onariase for daring to drive forward – looked like an overlapping centre half. Now they have the win repeat it at a poor Colchester.
Cox still a liability.3 users thanked author for this post.
just get him back its are only hope

BBC report “Barrow were far better in the second half but only sparked into life in the final 20 minutes.”
Sparked into life by our own idiot in charge dropping the team back and 5 mins after Scrimshaw goes off. Rather than the chairman meeting fans perhaps Cox should and answer these points1 user thanked author for this post.
Sadly the ref took away the possibilities of a point or 3. They didn’t appear to offer a threat upto that point. The pen clearly wasn’t one, the reaction of their players gives it away. They were annoyed he’d missed not appealing for a pen. Back to the conf for the ref.
We need 6 points from the next 2 games. Even Swan cant let Cox survive anything less.6 users thanked author for this post.
not as funny as Joe. Though the little ref on Saturday did his best to make us laugh!!
the acceptance of crap comes from the top in any organisation. You set your standard on everything you cant pick and choose when to have high standards. As you approach the ground you see the state of the flags etc you think no one here cares why should i. Staff, players, supporters will think it. And away teams will pick it up too. We have the look and feel of a team on the drift downwards.
Stopping petty crime is the start of prevent more serious crime. Having a high standards throughout the club will set the tone for management and players. Do wonder how Swan does succeed1 user thanked author for this post.
the fact he couldn’t attract any other club but a non league one tells you his level. And if he is relying on someone else to motivate him to play then i would question his motivation too.
