Just to clarify the clubs zero tolerance policy on people throwing objects onto the field of play home or away, the guy throwing the mobile phone onto the pitch at Chorley on Saturday gets banned right?

Got to agree with you on the sex of that fan Awaywego, very difficult to say but it matters not anyway does it, or at least it shouldn’t matter. One guy Gareth spoke to appeared to have been in a road accident, didn’t look very well TBH.

Difficult area, we need armed police for certain scenarios on the streets particularly in our large cities where more firearms seem more readily available to criminal gangs but we need to avoid the American way of having armed police constantly on the streets and therefore this gives a more relaxed approach to when and how guns in the hands of officers are used. Are the Met officers handing in their guns really concerned about the risk they may be under for murder charges brought against them or are they just supporting a colleague who has been charged with murder? As I said a very difficult area of discussion.

Awaywegos version of the Fans Charter is well known by now
1- If you don’t punch and kick opposition fans when your young and you don’t tell anyone in a raised voice within the ground to ” f*** off ” when your old, your not a proper fan.
That’s it basically.Yep can’t do out about two yellows.
1-1, I’ll take a point away and down to ten men, would have been a win but for some nonsense from Fitz, don’t piss about just knock it long if in doubt.
Never had much time for Rob Waltham TBH but I’m not ashamed to say we sure need him now to step up and help out, he is a fan from boyhood so maybe his conscience might sway him to take a good look at our situation.

At 92 he could well be stepping down permanently anyway.
September 21, 2023 at 8:58 pm in reply to: So. Either DH Has Put Loadsa Money Into The Iron or He Has Not. #273065If and its a massive IF he has put £1million in the club,he should still have £2 million at least left having not had to pay for the ground which he had promised he would do
Also according to his official statement on OWS, isn’t he releasing extra funds from some of his personal assets to help with cash flow? That sounds like some form of housing he owns or I’m guessing it is?

1- You wouldn’t expect the board not to show a degree of confidence in DH, he is still the owner and is still, hopefully, going to be paying the necessary bills ( HMRC ) to keep us going
2- Their points about the club needing to be more sustainably run is old news, we still have to wait and see what they actually intend to do.2 users thanked author for this post.
Doesn’t tell us what we don’t already know, yes the club is in a financial mess and yes measures need putting in place to address the situation long term but we have to keep waiting for any real detail. Their support for DH is a given under the present circumstances, we wouldn’t expect anything else publicly TBH, it’s wait and see time folks, as usual.

September 21, 2023 at 9:33 am in reply to: So. Either DH Has Put Loadsa Money Into The Iron or He Has Not. #272974I believe a lot of football fans adopt a head in the sand position, not the ones who dispute everything about DH being pants but the general week in week out fan who just wants to watch their team and ignore everything else. Ultimately quite a lot I spoke to have used the term ” well we can’t really decide who owns the club can we “, which is a fair point, we can protest, complain, discuss, disagree or agree on here as much as we want but whatever is gonna happen is gonna happen. When Swann finally left he was pushed along at the end by the fans protest on the pitch which was admirable by the fans but ultimately he was leaving anyway and it just gave us,it appears, a little more breathing space to continue and now, we are here and there isn’t much we can do physically to change that, unfortunately.

If Stuart attends ask him for another video, be interesting to hear his take on DH now.

I see You Tube have now pulled the plug on Brands revenue streams from his channel, things will need addressing sooner than later I feel before he gets completely shutdown. It’s wrong when it’s all accusations and nothing proven but this is a pattern that has developed with several people accused over the years, shows get cancelled, sponsors pull out of deals, brands ( pardon the pun ) distance themselves from such individuals in this type of case, it’s very unfortunate for all concerned, the accused and alleged victims. The modern world in which we live.

307 people killed in England including 58 in Canvey Island, 1836 killed in the Netherlands, 28 people in Belgium. The price we pay for living on reclaimed and low lying land near or on the North Sea coast, lest we forget.
I see Oldham have binned David Unsworth, not going that great for them this season despite the cash input they are receiving from their generous owner.
Unbelievable to think she can’t say sorry, maybe she will repay the 30 billion quid her loony monetary policy cost the country in 44 days out of the loose change in her purse.
The only thing that may link a possible likeness to Brand and Saville is the possible knowledge and therefore deception that may have resulted for the people Brand was working for at the time, whether that is the BBC or companies in the USA. Saville never went to court but since his death the knowledge of cover-ups from people he was associated with, including senior police figures in West Yorkshire police force, Leeds Infirmary and the BBC who ” turned a blind eye ” to Savilles activities have come to light. None of those mentioned I believe have been prosecuted but the old adage of “well that’s how it was then ” has always really annoyed me. Innocent until proven guilty absolutely correct but if it comes to light that the reason this hasn’t been brought to public attention before is due to certain people knowing and ” turning a blind eye ” then that is just as serious as the allegations and wants addressing with the same severity. If it turns out and I stress ” if ” that Brand has remained anonymous about this so far because of his large money making potential as an artist at the time, then that is truly abhorrent.

Anybody at today’s match notice if Hilton was in attendance, he’s been there quite a few times this season including the last two home league games 🤔
