Oh it’s a complete disaster, we are now second in the league 😂 we will be fine, anyone thinking we will win every game or not lose a few at any rate are deluded. We beat Darlington 4-0 playing with one striker up top ,we go to Curzon and start with one striker then go two up top second half and lose narrowly to a team defending a lead, oh and we hit the bar late on playing in a swimming pool. That’s life that’s football, on to the next match and let’s get three points. UTI.

Anybody got Bob Dylan’s greatest Hits Volume 2? Wonderful album from Watching The River Flow all the way through to When I Paint My Masterpiece and Lay Lady Lay. His trio of songs accompanied by Happy Traum on second guitar and banjo are truly epic particularly the epic Down In The Flood. Dylan at his cracking soaring best, performing such a range of style contrats within his work, we are truly blessed to have been born into a time when this songwriting genius began, flourished and totally dominated the songwriting scene from the sixties way through into the seventies, eighties and beyond. Only Lennon and McCartney can rival him in dominance of songwriting success, I think we have been a very lucky generation to witness these geniuses and many other fine singer songwriter’s come up and flourish in our lifetime.

I believe most songwriters want people to make up their own minds about a song in terms of interpretation. If you read online about some songs and how people interpret them, the contrast can be quite wide and varied at times. As for bill and his hijack attempt, best ignored as usual with most of bills loaded efforts on this forum.

I think the ” kissing incident” as you describe it just sums up what some men still don’t get about modern day sport and how it is moving forward, whilst the Spanish dinosaur who will be shortly removed from his post by Spanish Government pressure will find out exactly how it is moving forward.

If you mean was Dylan aware of what was going on in the 1960’s as a young songwriter, yes very much so. I always enjoyed his interviews back then because when a music journalist went on a hand wringing description of one of his songs and then asked Dylan if that’s what he was trying to say, Bob would shrug his shoulders and reply ” I don’t know you tell me, I just write em “. He loved keeping people at arms length about his work and I absolutely loved him for that. Never mind the message just enjoy the song for what it is, songwriting genius IMO.

IB do you pursue the Southend owner as vigorously on the Southend fans forum as vigorously as you do DH on this forum, or is your Interested Bystander role centered solely on one man?

Had a perfectly legitimate post removed when asking IB to front up about the Southend owner on their fans forum, does he post there or not. Just thought I’d inform the forum that censorship appears to be returning to this board but only in a certain form.

Noticed neither Ironeye/ Ironinsider or BI (the man Andy) hasn’t thanked Matts recent and very welcome update from DH, guess they both have grave doubts and are thinking up their responses right now.
