I just like catching em
Presumably you mean crabs from Hunny Bunny ?
We live in a greedy selfish world and the Premier League is a perfect example, it reflects a lot of human nature in the modern era, are we surprised?, no, do we want it to change?, yes, will it?, no, it is what it is the rich and powerful DGAF**k about anything but themselves.
Alfreton have the best manager in the league,Billy Heath.
The manager who should be our manager next season. Is he Terry’s son?, now there was a player.
Agreed IFA with most of that, would point out however that Hereford were not a poor side indeed they were a very good side with two excellent wingers and we came from behind to deservedly beat them in a cracking game. Would agree we need to perform for 90 minutes not just 45, still can’t fully work out why we have been so hot and cold over the season in such a lot of games.

Another win which maintains the good form result wise going into the playoffs. Lots of changes again today and the team next Saturday will look completely different to today’s starting eleven, let’s take the win and remember we are a much better side when playing at home. UTI.
Awaywego is roughly my age so I’m guessing he would have been there, remember some younger kids lining empty plastic coffee cups up on the DRE wall and pelting them over with hand made snow balls off the terrace, golden days plus it was bloody freezing.
Bloody hell Rene I remember watching the Iron knock Skelmersdale out of the FA Cup back in 1967 at the OSG, John Colquhoun and Frank Barton scored the goals in a 2-0 win. Bet mick, les, cass and Awaywego were there too.

Another couple of 2-0 defeats for the Cods and Sutton winning their last games by 2-0 each time would make things interesting but you would imagine the Cods can grab a point out of their last 6 available.
Funny how people twist things around and end up playing the victim, very Trump like.
She comes across as another stable genius, that’s one each side of the pond now.
Long covid and injuries took a lot out of him, but looks like he’s finally found his feet again.

That’s his next hurdle, getting those flat feet sorted out for next season, I’m guessing some sort of differently constructed inner sole to his boot will be tried out.April 14, 2024 at 11:48 pm in reply to: Yet another…’what have you been listening today?’ Thread #283993I’m guessing you know only a few copies of Freewheelin’ were released with that track on Siderite? Anyhow my copy unfortunately does not have it on as the original set list of songs were reconfigured due to CBS executives getting cold feet the track could upset the USA hierarchy at the time ( remember it was recorded mid 1962 ) Bob being a young relatively unknown artist at the time had little say in the matter although he changed four songs in total which allowed him to include ones he wrote in late 1962 early 1963 the year of the albums official release, which he preferred
anyway. Owning one of the early copies with Talking John Birch Society Blues on is now valued between £15,000 to £20,000, nice little earner if you own one.1 user thanked author for this post.
Aye they all deserve a slap then banned from the clubs fixtures home and away for three seasons minimum, that’s a proper slap BTW.

Mrs Awe cashed into today backing the winner with a £10 each way bet returning £104.

Yeah fair play to him on his goals record, he still walks the line with the officials too much for my liking and insists on playing the twat far too often but his contribution in finding the net has been invaluable this season, well done young man.

Shame about the two injuries picked up today particularly Denton, think that’s his lot for this season. Blyth were so unfit it was embarrassing but you can only beat what’s in front of you, flat second half but the job was done by half time, main thing is we go into the playoffs on form and scoring goals, a nice position to be in.
I know we are in a decent position for the playoffs but make no mistake its gonna be a very difficult whoever we play in them.
So why are at this point .. with this squad has HMS piss the league floundered , ran aground and ship wrecked ?? answers on a postcard …. but IMO
Meeting the freak perfect storm in Tamworth
What ever it was (still dont know) but the off field drama at SUFC must of effected the teams mindset in that terrible spell after New Year.
Too many very dikky decisions by refs etc perfectly good goals disallowed (SMT), numerous stone wall pens not given etc etc and also games being called off when should have been played which resulted in the team we were playing being stronger and in better form that at the first time of playing (SMT)
Some of JDs tactics n team selection/formation hasnt helped at times
anymore ?? feel free to add.

Think you’ve about covered it ironfromafar, oh you forgot the eclipse which caused a sensation in the USA this week, that obviously had a massive bearing on us not winning the league.
Well desperately needing a win to avoid relegation is similar to desperately needing a win to reach the playoffs and we know how that worked out for Hereford. Really hope Blyth comes and have a proper go at us it’s exactly what we want to happen.
I think we may have to offer our thanks to Ross Barrows for his contribution last night.
The fact his loan extension now has a 24 hour recall is also excellent news for extra squad cover going into the playoffs.
Scott Wiseman – gossip queen!
Tina Turner – Acid Queen!
We should really smash these last two league games and go into the playoffs bang on winning form, no real excuses now not to show our full potential and win promotion.
Hoping the Roberts substitution was just saving legs because he didn’t look injured walking off to me.
We should beat Blyth particularly after today’s second half showing, we have more players fit and competition for places is now very strong, two subs scored today which emphasizes the point. Win next week and I believe we will go to Gloucester on the final day and steamroller them.
Completely agree Awaywego I’d have given Whitehall MOTM today, he did what I’ve always wanted him to do just play like a proper centre forward, great watch second half. They came and had a go and had some good wingers but it just shows that even when good teams come and have a go they leave the gaps and spaces our better players can exploit. Roberts and Butterfield were great second half and Beestin will never strike a better goal in his life, what an excellent afternoon’s entertainment.

Started biting early tonight, how wonderful.
I think SNOT is beginning to realise he’s not in Kansas anymore, hope Toto is on board with him.
Won away last night and probably need to win their last 3 games to give them a chance of play offs. Could make for a different type of game on Saturday which could help us maybe?
Won away to Banbury, even Bishop’s Stortford beat them last weekend!
If they had lost or drawn at Banbury then realistically a playoff spot would have been difficult for them but they know if they bag a win at The Attis on Saturday they could still sneak in there. It could be a cracker if they decide to come and have a go, our fans certainly deserve that to happen.

She always gets rude and aggressive when losing the argument, how marvelous when the child reveals it’s true nature.
