I would have thought it was for others reading a post on here to judge whether it is biased or unbiased not the author of the post. Just saying.

Hull got a decent payout when we sold him to West Brom, didn’t realise the fee was £1.5 million and we only got £750,000, good sell on clause 50%.

The arrogance and danger of Farage, now an MP of course and therefore with a larger influence on public opinion, ” if my question about us possibly not being told the truth ” , ie was it a terrorist act or not, ” had been answered earlier, this might not have happened “. So if Farage doesn’t get an immediate answer from the police or Government regarding something he considers relevant then a mob may appear from different parts of the country and cause havoc and destruction. This man will continue to cause political and public havoc at every opportunity, he thinks it’s his right alongside his arse kicker Lee Nandertal.

If Beestin isn’t a guaranteed starter I reckon he’ll be a fantastic option off the bench and if he can maintain fitness I see him as a proper asset in an Iron shirt, oh and he can shoot a bit too ( e g some crackers scored towards the end of last season ).

We’ve beaten a team from a higher league, one where Pugh doesn’t start. Why such pessimism?

Haven’t been to any pre season games for years because to me they are all about trying different systems, trying different combinations of players in those systems and getting match fit ready for the coming season. Why anyone would see them as a nailed on indicator of how we are going to do overall in a 9 month football season has always amused me and if they do believe it’s an indicator I believe we have won all our pre season games so far, unless I’ve missed a defeat somewhere?

Who’s the one on the far right?

Isn’t it the poison dwarf from the Dallas TV series?, had long blonde hair back in the day I believe.

Difference is bill our officers use tasers and although the American police have tasers too they invariably go for the hand gun, although in fairness if the Manchester airport incident had happened in the USA the people causing the disturbance could well have been armed . Almost 1200 citizens shot dead by American police last year alone, the problem to see is the ridiculous USA gun policy. I don’t want our country to have a gun culture like the USA, truly scary place to live.

It his lack of professionalism that is being called into question, despite what went on before and that’s why they wear the uniform in the first place, to be professional and to uphold the law in a professional manner befitting that uniform. A thug is a thug and the actions of that officer were the actions of a thug not a professional police officer and his actions as a professional officer were not acceptable, whatever the provocation.

How many minutes has Whitehall played? Has he got a knock?

Not sure about how many minutes DM but Butler said in his post match interview that Whitehall was away yesterday at a family function, no mention of injury.

I used to buy them back in my youth but like Ferrite haven’t bothered in years. A lot of people still collect them and will have boxes of them back at their home stashed away in the loft or somewhere. Gave all my all boxes programmes away to the late John Staff years ago which he sold on and donated the money back to the club of course.

The draw is at the Halifax game on Saturday not the aid game on Sunday Ironawe but with you all the way on the gesture.

Apologies for the day mix up got a bit carried away with rushing to pay tribute to John again, maybe Sunday would have been more appropriate but anyhow as you say still a wonderful gesture to a top bloke.

Nice little tribute to John Staff on Sunday, the half time draw being held in his memory. Will a new seller be going round the stands shouting ” raw chickens “?, would be a nice one off gesture, John would have loved being part of Sunday’s upcoming events at The Attis, he certainly will be a big miss in the coming seasons.

He paid the bills till obviously he said he would stop, just the same as Swanny.

    Is that true?

It will be inside Awaywego’s head, if the reality is the opposite it won’t bother him because in his head he’s right.

Woke is a general term for neo Marxism. We have touched on it over the years, the Frankfurt school and Critical theory that has penetrated our Universities since the 1930’s. Now full blown wokeism that is making people’s lives less and less free .The ideology is being fought by many with a Christian worldview( even if they aren’t Christian’s.) The misery wokeism is inflicting on ordinary working class people will hopefully be a wake up call for them to fight back against this oppressive ideology.

You know bill your life would be a lot more rounded and you as a person better informed if you observed the world with both your eyes open and not just your right one.

As has been stated many times before, the term woke has been hijacked by the right wing of politics and is used liberally by them to describe anything or anybody who doesn’t fit their particular political agenda. I would guess the majority don’t even know what the term woke actually means, it’s easily researched for those struggling to grasp it’s actual meaning.

Yes despite what occured before the incident and we don’t know for sure what did, the assailant was face down on the floor and certainly did not warrant having his head kicked in by a police officer. Correctly suspended whilst a full investigation is carried out, Lee Anderson is just a dick but we knew that anyway before this incident was viewed.

Do you sniff your own farts too?

Farage went all the way to the USA to smell Trumps farts, should have been in Parliament representing his new constituency but he didn’t let that minor detail about responsibility bother him.

The majority of fans I would suggest would probably need life support after more than playing for 30 minutes, some of them in the fans friendly game played a few weeks back looked gone after 15 minutes. Time to be realistic Awaywego it’s about raising money for the club pure and simple and having a bit of a laugh into the bargain, chill out mate FFS.

Last time probably Newcastle cup replay during the miners strike so no floodlights allowed. 1973 I think. Got disciplined by British Steel for skipping college that afternoon.

    January 30th 1974
We had drawn 1-1 up at Newcastle on Saturday the 26th, Nolan Keeley scored for the Iron and Terry McDermott equalised for them. Highlight of the day was Chris Simpkin sitting Malcolm McDonald on his arse after a couple of minutes and getting right in his face with some verbals whilst McDonald lay prostrate on the floor. Never got another kick all game McDonald but scored two in the replay when for some reason Simpkin never went near him. Always thought there was some kind of stitch up there but anyhow that’s football sometimes.

Of course that’s why they changed the fixture, all those taxi drivers will be flat out New Years Eve, Lynn will have half their team missing, should be an easy home win.
