I’m guessing the new manager will come at considerably less cost then Derek Adams, don’t think whoever is manager this season will be in a position to get them out of the inevitable relegation hole, it will be all about keeping costs down initially.
Man U’s keeper was fouled, not confirmed by VRS which shows how cr4p VRS can be.
He was not fouled. He was very weak and took his eye off the ball.
He was quite blatently fouled
It was poor tactically on Man Utd’s part, they deployed Mason Mount as keeper cover against Saliba, Arsenals strongest player. No contest, Mount went walkabout and Saliba used his strength on the keeper to force the fumble, no foul IMO just Arsenal employing good tactics from their strongest player, good lesson for Man U’s ” marvellous coach ” to take on board.
Inappropriate with the number of suicide cases reported these days, if you were trying to extract some kind of humour from a desperate situation you have just shot yourself spectacularly in the foot, idiot.
Whilst wishing Morecambe and their fans all the very best for the future it’s pretty obvious that if they do start playing say in the next month that they will be nailed on for back to back relegations ( now which other team last did that, lol ). The main thing is they survive and start to slowly grow again as a football club, relegation is the least of their problems IMO.
Danny Wilson could stop a ball in midfield sending two opposition players in different directions at the same time, then set off and exploit the space they’d vacated, he was a brilliant footballer and far too good for us during his loan spell, great to watch though.

Absolutely nonsense Cliff, I’ve given Whitehall stick in the past but for me he turned a corner after last Xmas when he stepped up to being a proper nuisance striker and his contributions improved massively IMO. His type of game has it’s frustrating moments but his new two year deal shows his commitment to the Iron cause and I believe if Howe continues his early season form both him and Whitehall will be a formidable strike force. Whitehall’s shithousery and Howes energy could see them score lots of goals.

Yeah he dropped a bollock today, shit happens, I’m sure he’ll learn from it , looked like a concentration lapse because it was a basic error. Won the game comfortably and I won’t be going on about his mistake ad nauseam and I trust others won’t because there were a lot of positives from today’s win, including some good performances from new players Howe, Ewing and Horton, very satisfying first home game of the season.
The X Men beat the Juggernaut Rene, move on mate.
Yeah Cass it’s called ” talking coach bollocks blues”, think Bob Dylan wrote a song about it, basically they give so many interviews they end up talking bollocks. You hear it in most Premier league manager interviews every week in the season.

Lol, ‘Lee Novak’. Forgot about him.
Simple Minds would not be impressed.
Good result, sooner we’re out the better.

Higher, just because some will be keen to try the new food outlets and they can’t wait till Saturday.
Seen plenty of keepers flap at a couple of things then go on to have a decent enough game, it’s not a yardstick for me as to his overall ability. He’s a young keeper who’s been given a chance to nail down the position of number one at his club and he needs all the encouragement we can give him, all I’ve ever said is back the lad and give him a chance and it sounds like the travelling Iron support got behind him last Saturday which is brilliant to hear, long may it continue.

Decent band in their day till Steve Marriott got more then just his fingers burnt. One of the biggest lessons ever about the dangers of smoking.
Begs the question why in this day and age is such a poor service being provided, I mean listening to different opinions it’s not just the visual streaming experience it’s garbage comments with the presenters lacking basic oral presentation and hardly any research to back up the basic facts about players and staff of both teams taking part, amateurish at best.
Are DAZN responsible for commentary or just pictures? We usually get RH when we’re at home.
Was going by last season’s playoff semi final and final highlights which they covered and commentated on, wasn’t Humberside doing those commentaries on DAZN highlights then.
That’s 500plus up on last season’s total I reckon, yeah we got promoted but it appears the feel good factor since the new board took charge is continuing, it’s gotta be good news even to the moaners, oh wait …..

How’s Lawsy doing? ,oh yeah that’s right he’s in the stand with us lot watching the Iron, sensible move.
Yes, Roberts gets the assist but I’m sure his pass was meant for Whitehall. I’m also pretty sure that Roberts would say I’m wrong. (Sounds a bit like the wife!!)
Oli said in the post match interview he gave Danny a shout and he let it through, brilliant finish to round off a good team goal, if that standard continues through the season we are in for some cracking entertainment.

Absolute garbage highlights package, just another reason to bin DAZN and hopefully they go bust, rip off merchants. Gareth wasn’t any better, too many heads in the way for the first and took a picture by mistake for the second and never filmed it, lol. Ah well as the song says ” things can only get better”.
Yes strange how Maisons nemesis on here fails to mention he is one of four nominees up for motm on the Facebook page, just give the lad a chance and support him FFS and leave the negativity aside whilst he beds himself into this team and a permanent place in mens football.

Wow Shania Twain and Paul Young, guess that didn’t impress you much!
Sounds a rip off WG hope you don’t get burnt, people should just drop them and let them go under, doesn’t sound like a fan friendly site at all.
It’s a natural progression of the internet age, it’s only the older generation complaining, including me but it’s the younger ones time now and if that’s what they want and demand so be it. It may lead to their downfall or destruction who knows, as for us, most of our age group don’t give a monkeys anymore, we are all heading for the final straight no-one is interested in what we say much these days.
Rory needs to figure Tuesday night, Mason needs keeping on his toes all season long, should keep him sharp.
Oh do shut up 64 I’m not swearing and you are just being pedantic, why not address the issue and call out this cheapskate company for what they really are, ripping off fans with an overpriced inferior product.

Pleased for Mason, sounds like he did ok, just give this kid a chance and get behind him.

Don’t know why you guys even bother, saw a couple of last season highlights they hosted and it was complete crap from slow misinformed commentators who have clearly researched SFA prior to the game to dodgy camera work. Just f*** them off and don’t bother it’s clearly not worth it and you all deserve better which this bunch clearly can’t deliver.
Don’t think we’ll be cooking up a lamb casserole today, narrow defeat I reckon.
I meant narrow defeat for Tamworth of course. LOL!
Great start to the season. Pass me that mint sauce!
Mint sauce the new taste sensation, great start Iron well done.
