Just more of the same as the last three games please, will obviously miss the ” Little Gem ” but he missed most of the victory over Colchester and who knows we just may get a ” VanVeen cameo ” off the bench to give us some more cheer. Cox appears to have his screwed on properly now and the game plan seems to be working pretty well overall.

More like Teddy Who? Anyway we should not judge till the lad has played a few games but like quite a few others I thought the defence would have been pretty much sorted with Taft signed up and MaGahey approaching full fitness. Does seem a strange signing.

‘the last 3 Wimbledon managers were ex player’s’. What? And you reckon that’s nepotism? Get a grip 😂😂

He also reckons Pubic Hair is Bugs Bunnies uncle. 😜

Awaywego is ” comedy gold”, hasn’t a clue doesn’t even come close, those years of pylon climbing have led to early brain degeneration kicking in. Already an early nominee for The Last Legs, ” Dick Of The Year Award “, following in Trumps footsteps, what an honour. 😂😂😂

I’m sure there will be criticism from some with certain aspects of our game tonight but for me 3 wins, 6 goals ,3 clean sheets and 9 points in 7 days is worthy of 👏👏👏 well done guys, really well done.

Have a look at the Haysey goal againt Colchester on SUFC Twitter. Wouldn’t mind one of those tonight but not sure anybody likely to be playing has that ability.

Me and my mate were at that one Cass, long old bus trip down, couple of beers before the game and that Paul Hayes gem was our reward, what a goal, what a player. I remember the Iron faithful crammed behind the goal at the opposite end singing and shouting their heads off. Happy days.

I think a point would be an excellent result down at Colchester, the guys have done great the last two games but a third inside a week is a big ask. Expect the last half hour to be a battle of affliction as the fatigue sets in, we are playing a good side who have slipped a little of late, they will be desperate to get back on track against us and prove a point to their manager and fans. Good luck guys.

That was a great result tonight so well done guys for a sterling effort, another clean sheet and Loft really showing what he can do with proper support. Guess the Colchester game was arranged a while back for this Friday but Saturday would have suited us better, hope its not a game too far but I’m sure the guys will give it a real go. Eisa came through!!! great, hope he’s good to go again next game, we really need all our main players fit to go ASAP. UP THE IRON.

Surprised Eisa has made it after the reports about his knee after the derby match, even Cox said it would be unlikely he would play, unless it was just bullshine after what Esia did to Vale last time out against them. Hope we aren’t looking at another McGahey situation after tonight’s game, that outcome was just bloody ridiculous and could easily have been avoided with sensible management.

Rowe for Clarke, McAtee( yes it’s time for mardy arse to get his finger out and prove he wants away by contributing ) for Eisa and show the same application as Saturday against a team struggling for form. If that happens it’s a 2-0 home win, happy days.

I was under the impression Cordner was a centre back and we played him as such either in a back three of four, if he was more useful elsewhere I stand corrected. How about spongeman or tea boy perhaps, he’s a bloody defensive footballer I believe who was not manning up as he should, maybe Cox was wrong about that?

Got the impression from Cox that Cordner was a bit of a softie when it came to playing centre back, not up for it, wouldn’t man up. If that’s the case then Loft may well rough him up a bit, I hope he does and Cordner has a nightmare against us.

Think Eisa may be struggling to be fit by what Cox said about his knee injury post match but the way ahead is deffo 4-4-2 and have a go as yesterday proved. Stick McAtee up there and find out if he wants to play for us or not, the mardy git.

Loft the best player on the pitch according to Gary Croft the Codhead, said his approach and graft all game was an example to every other player on the pitch. Shows that some ex pro’s think he has a future in the game even if some fans dont. All about opinions of course.

Swann plays golf then signs players

Donald Trump and Ernest Prawn have something in common, they both play golf then come to the microphone and talk crap. Must be a power thing.

No fit strikers and no best centre back due to managerial stupidity equals, no bloody idea. Just about sums up the situation at Scunthorpe United.

I won’t be watching and haven’t watched any I-follow matches period. The whole point of being a fan is to watch live games in the ground, where we can sample the atmosphere, catch up with football mates we see on a regular basis and just generally enjoy the match day experience. I have no intention of watching I-follow ever but I may dip into Blunderside to hear the worst, I actually like Mike White and Tom Newey giving their account of the games. Can’t see us winning and I was right about McGahey not being fit after last week’s game at Barrow, should never have played in the first place. Returning after a hamstring injury with no proper practice games played and just training with squad!!! Bloody stupid Cox and you know it.

Awaywego would make a great construction manager, he’s shown a keen interest in pylon design from a young age apparently.

Give Awaywego a break charlieboy, if you’d spent two thirds of your formative years up a floodlight pylon, you would probably be an idiot too.

Stuck it out for a whole 15 minutes then turned off, I’m done listening to this guy talk crap and avoid the issues raised. What a waste of time having him on the podcast.

After what he said about the previous owner, he had better not be running the club as a worthwhile hobby. More business like was how he wanted the club to be run under his leadership, increased debt, poor decision making regarding managers and players and disillusioned supporters doesn’t seem very business like to me. Quite ironic how the man accused of running the Iron as a hobby was far more successful in terms of results and appointing successful managers and left us less in debt then we are now. Swann might say the loans are his debt and not the club’s but he will want his money back someday, now that is a business like certainty.

It was planned according to Cox – wanting to get 45 minutes into their legs

That’s absolutely true, so we wait till next Wednesday when Cox announces that McGahey is out injured for another 4 to 6 weeks with an aggravation of his hamstring injury.

Barrow commentators seem to have got it right, ” neither team look as if they want to win and have set up accordingly “.

Bit risky playing McGahey would have thought, no proper run out prior to today after a hamstring injury, hope we haven’t started him too soon.
