It was amusing yet also worrying how the stewards waited for the lad in the grey top to finish celebrating the Rochdale winner then, in his own time when it suited him, politely helped him back over the wall. What’s wrong in throwing the law breaking twat out? We are soft as shit with dick heads in this country, respecting his rights? Piss off.

The whole Rochdale match day squad stayed in the dressing room at half time, no subs out warming up till the blond haired lad who came on as first sub ( thought he was excellent btw ) trotted out two minutes before the second half began to stretch his legs. They were getting one hell of a bollocking after an insipid first half display and boy did the Rochdale manager get his team talk and tactics bang on for the second half, they fully deserved their win.

Swann is totally to blame and Burns went off ironking because of injury, I suspect Feeney was struggling a bit fitness wise, he wasn’t exactly bursting past people although he delivered one excellent ball into the box second half.

Burns is struggling with a calf injury according to Hill and received treatment at half time, agree with you but daft to leave him on if injured.

He seemed at a loss to explain the second half performance but he sure sounded disappointed by it. Not the sort of stuff we are used to over the years from teams he managed when they came here, in fact Rochdale deserved the win based on their second half performance, we certainly were very poor and clearly didn’t adapt to the change of shape their subs gave them.

Aye too much for the Nazarene even, It’s alright turning 5 loaves and 2 fishes into a mega feast but even he would struggle turning 15 games into 28 points. 😞

Jury still out on the facts about the training ground, oh by the way in the big scheme of things as to where we are today as a football club under Swann, who actually gives a f**k, we all know the reason the club is in dire straits ( money for nothing ) and it’s naff all to do with this training ground bullshit.

Pugh is a young lad who’s time will come again after this latest injury setback. The window has given us more experienced options to more then take care of Pughs contributions, he wasn’t even getting in the side that regular of late anyway. Wish the lad well and hopefully see him back in an Iron shirt next season, he has great potential.

I don’t think he’s better then Hackney yet but it’s all about opinion. Hills opinion was he wanted to keep Hackney over Wood on loan even when serving a six match suspension and he was happy for Wilson to go out on a loan that has been extended to a season long loan quite recently. I will go with Hills judgement, I believe Hackney is available again this weekend, let’s see how that pans out.

The training ground at Gunness was much bigger then the current one and within a month or so of Prawn assuming control of SUFC, Mr Wharton had the old training pitches ploughed up and drilled with oilseed rape. That’s the difference between an astute businessman who turns a valuable asset into profit making capability a.s.a.p and someone who pretends he’s astute but isn’t.

Think alcy is missing posting his right wing videos on non football. Don’t have a go at genuine Scunny fans with the best intentions of the club at heart alcy but by all means keep kicking Ernest Prawn.

How can league one be the third tier when its name suggests it’s the pinnacle? :-)

That’s the bollocks created by forming the ” wonderful ” Premiership. It’s the money men’s fault, oh what a surprise. 😠

    Shortest podcast to date.

“It’s all gone to shit hasn’t it?”

    “Yes!”

“Right, I think we’ll leave it there. See you on the next one.”

Sounds like an episode of BeardMeatsFood.

Classic narcissist behaviour IMO, turns up when we are gunning for the playoffs or playing attractive football whilst scoring plenty of goals singing ” look at me look what I’ve achieved here “. Build an unacceptable amount of debt playing with his toy, cuts the budget as a result, does a number on the ground and is probably somewhere in the North West of the country now with his hands over his ears singing ” da da dee da da nowt to do with me “.

I wonder if we give away fans a free cup of tea or coffee like at Exeter?

We probably would if we were run by the Scunthorpe United Supporters Trust, doubtful we do with this current bunch in charge.

….or Darlington. Rushden & Diamonds anyone?

Alternatively we could be like Hartlepool. Trying to be positive. :-)

The Darlo quote was merely stating how long term football league teams can struggle or even fall further then one tier down if you are owned by incompetent people. I believe Darlo’s problems began when a former jailbird took them over and had big ideas above the club’s capabilities that involved actually building a brand new ground they could not afford and it all went tits up. The Rushden mention was referring to what happens when the money runs out and the club folds. Don’t forget GP is ripe for redevelopment and it doesn’t have to be anything to do with football either. People who build up debts due to mismanagement often look for another way to recoup their losses with all previous ventures often the victim.
