Already read it earlier, been said before and it’s nowt new, It’s just another fan from another club with an opinion about a team they don’t support. Big deal, we don’t need a codhead to state the bleeding obvious do we, mind you it was on their forum and anyway who gives a f**k what he thinks.

Not about saving face then?, well maybe is maybe isn’t but I’m delighted with January business and a real chance for Hill to flex his muscles and build a better side.As for you know who, just ignoring him TBH, yes he’s helped this month but the rest of the propaganda we’ve heard similar before. Delighted by Hills decision to stay on next season though.
Will leave it till I see what Keith serves up on Saturday, I see Taft is as popular as ever 😂 but he deffo needs a rest IMO, like till May.
Basil Fawlty thought they were all the same, mind you he had his head bandaged up at the time.
TBH I don’t take notice of Swann anymore, I’m more concerned in what Keith Hill says and how the team performs. I believe Keith Hill to be a genuine person, I believe that’s all I need to say.

Yep well said MK, I would love fans turning up because of our January window and Keith Hills positivity, we just need home wins, as I’ve stated before, home wins mean more confidence and bigger crowds. UP THE IRON.
Hill clearly thinks Hackney is the better pick despite his stupid ban and he should be back for the last 15 fixtures. I’m sure Hill would have loved to keep Wood but he’s playing the numbers game with this embargo on and he obviously wanted to move others on. If we assume they are Turan and Millen then once again it speaks volumes about our disastrous summer recruitment under little Swann. I’m still unsure about Perry, he can pass it for fun but he clearly isn’t fit and as a result lacks confidence but maybe next season in a stiffer midfield he could prosper. One thing for sure football management isn’t easy it’s just some make it easier then others,I’m sure glad Hill is here.

It’s easier to go on the website and check out the squad there, you would hope it to be updated.
Aye Frank wasn’t referring to sugar cubes was he, he certainly liked his honey.
Think your right Awaywego, the only thing they lacked from today was extra fitness and pace which certainty has improved tremendously with modern training methods and diet etc. Some say that the players of yesteryear would not last the full game against modern opposition today and would be burnt out after seventy minutes, that could well be true but nobody mentions that only five or six of the modern day players would be left standing after seventy minutes. Mind you modern refereeing would protect them now.

Bloody Germans eh, bet he still thinks they won the war.
Eight new players in this month, so TBF to the club they have tried to change things with bringing in three quarters of a new side. Main thing for me is that these players are who Hill wanted and he’s worked with most if not all of them before at some point in their careers. So the majority of fans support Hill and now he has a chance to mould these players he knows into his team with the rest of the squad. Not an easy task with so few games left but I believe we have a chance with this manager doing things his way with the players he brought in. Not a grubby cygnet hand involved in any of these signings it would seem, good, and good luck Keith.

An well he’s gone now, let’s hope he finds the grass greener somewhere else.
Already posted young man but it’s nice to know more room is being made for more incomings.
Keep the dream alive DSGM.
” 6 feet 2 eyes of blue coochy coochy coochy coo
Has anybody seen our Pyke ”Another one for the over 65’s.

As I recall in the replay he never stood a chance with either goal but he made a mess of Peter Housemans equaliser at Wembley, squirmed under his body from a shot from distance. Do you remember Sprakes ” careless hands ” blunder at Anfield Heathy? Typical Scouse humour playing the Des O Connor song of the same name at half time over the PA.
Perhaps he’s good a kicking people? Let’s hope he flattens the defenders while Nuttall puts the chances away. Let’s hope a big strong forward is the foil Burns needs to pick up the pieces and score and at least we now have options to mix up the striking process, we had none before.
Feeney will fit into any midfield role required, he’s strong and experienced, midfield is fine let’s get that centre back and another forward in they are the two required positions that need filling now.

He’s got two experienced midfield players in since last week, we can maybe bring a centre back in now, midfield is covered IMO. Don’t forget Hackney is still on loan, maybe Hills thinking we should be covered till he returns, unless he’s binning him too.
Never seen the Stretford end so full Ironawe, the only time I saw a genuine sway in there. The programme from that game is quite valuable, has programmes go.
Proper cup final, both games. Osgood’s equaliser was pure class in the replay and Dave Webb was never going to miss that winning header, hard as nails. Both Leeds and Chelsea had some proper physical guys playing back then but both also had some very skillful ball players. I always thought the Chelsea team from that era were great to watch and it’s a shame they never won the league with that side, they were classy and very entertaining.

One of the earliest exponents of the long throw and using it to great effeect, Ian Hutchinson of Chelsea. Caused mayhem in the Leeds penalty area back in the FA Cup replay from 1970, causing so much havoc it allowed Dave Webb to head the Chelsea winner. Popular win that as I recall, the Chelsea flair team beating the ” Leeds Revie Machine “.
Sorry to see him go as he’d made real progress under Hill, wish the lad all the best.

Wasn’t Boxall the teacher and only signed part time, or was that someone else?

Well whatever option he’s using ( if any ) he’s got 8 hours left to give the fans just a glimmer of hope for the rest of the season. Come on Prawn stopping being an arse and help KH out, he’s trying his best it’s time you joined in.

If Swann and his son left could we sign two more players 🤔

As an aside, Eriksen’s just signed for Brentford
Yep and Ivan Toney cut his hair last week and scored a goal, maybe that is the reason he’s not scored many this season, his long hair sapping his mojo.

As a side issue is it just my hearing starting to go but did I detect a ” WHOOSH ” coming from the DRE on Tuesday night midway through the second half as we punted another ball aimlessly upfield? Brought back memories of dear old John Bramhall and his legendary clearances upfield, the WHOOSH chant stayed with him during his entire time with us.

Remember when Eriksen collapsed on the pitch in the Euro’s and anti vaxxers said his heart condition was due to the covid vaccine, till it was pointed out he had not been vaccinated. Dont know why there are more stoppages in games when a member of the crowd is taken ill and requiring instant medical care. Are we just becoming more socially aware that life is really more important than football ( Bill Shankly would disagree ) and that peoples concerns regarding the fragility of life have changed? Maybe thats it,I believe we have certainly become more health and life conscious since the pandemic arrived and after all it’s only bloody football.
