Saw the headline and thought, bloody hell a history lesson about Henry VIII giving the monasteries in England a kicking back in 1536. 😂😂😂

Based on the last four seasons and fearing this total shit show is gearing up to get worse, I would take 6 now. Sorry to say I fear 9 & 10 seem a very realistic outcome at this present time without new owners on the horizon. 😞

Yes I accept you named alot of good people there .But one question who chose Swan might be difficult one to swallow

Don’t think Steve Wharton is a mind reader, he would study the Swann offer and consider in good faith as a result the club was going to be in safe hands. It’s not just the fans who have been conned is it.

With Bunn gone I believe that takes the recent departures to ten, three more for a bakers dozen?

Don’t get excited IA, he’s not gone yet.

I know and if he keeps borrowing money against the ground he probably never will, unfortunately the club will dissappear and thats my concern.

He was always in a sticky situation and as a result it’s no surprise his currant situation is now elsewhere.

Money has always been the issue in football particularly more so since the Premier league came along, we can’t compete with bigger clubs financially, wow what a revelation!!🙄

A lot of physique is to do with growth patterns and how much growing they still have left. If young players are still growing then physical stature will take longer to develop and that includes bench pressing for fun everyday.

Are they both carrying injuries?, That would be my concern if they chose to come here, there will be clubs with bigger budgets than ours in the National League next season who will no doubt fancy this pair also.

Can only think Pugh’s injury is worst then first thought and with a shite budget for next season he’s not considered worth the risk, much the same as Thompson who is the one I really feel sorry for

I see Northampton have lodged a complaint with the EFL and the FA.

They are full of shite and I hope the EFL and FA respond by telling them that.

Swann has officially put the club up for sale, that’s what’s better since Hill arrived!!! Guys have your say by all means but stop griping about the last few months, it’s the last four years that have done for us. Playing weakened teams, not signing better players, not going down with enough passion!!! What a load of bollocks, get over yourselves and see what happens with new owners and a new season with a chance to sign players that actually want to come and are good enough. If not it’s relegation again or liquidation, you will bloody moan then.

Nothing needs changing in the rules, promotion and relegation are decided over a season and one game issues are irrelevant. Hill did nothing different yesterday team selection wise then he’s done in the last few months, preparing young players who deserve a chance to get valuable 1st team experience and hopefully help to contribute next season. Why would he play senior players who haven’t figured recently and won’t be here next season and anyway aren’t they the ones who ” fear being injured “, bloody big Jessie’s not professional at all IMO. As for Hallam before he gets mentioned, he’s missed nearly all the last few seasons anyway and if we are going to get anything from him next season, which will undoubtedly be his last with us, then he needs to keep working on fitness over the summer and maybe then he might be available for the 1st team next season on a more regular basis ( not holding my breath ). We were down months ago and Hill knew that and I applaud his decision to blood young players and then maybe next time around with some new older pros, who aren’t frightened of getting injured, in the squad we might get a reasonable blend of a team in place because bloody hell we need one after four seasons of continual shite.

To all Northampton fans, you are in the playoffs so not getting automatic promotion is the chance to prove you are good enough to go up after all. So you missed out yesterday, big deal, I’m sure you will get behind your team and cheer them on to success at Wembley in the near future. Ignore all the bullshit from those on here bleating their apologies about our team yesterday, we have been disintegrating as a football club, not just a team, for the last four seasons, yesterday you were on the receiving end of a culmination of events that has been coming for a long time. Go out, win the playoffs and enjoy your promotion. Best of luck.

That poor young lad, I really feel for him after that. After a super debut from him last week, what the hell was KH thinking, fielding such an inexperienced side with a rookie keeper? As a consequence, he’s shipped 7 goals, his confidence must be shot to bits. Not good KH.

Never did Clemence any harm, give over FFS.

In most professions his actions would lead to instant dismissal contract or no contract as the Fans are the Clubs customers.

In most other professions, there isn’t a baying mob giving you abuse. I would like to come to your workplace and shout “ironlion82 you are a useless cunt” and heckle constantly and see how you react.

ironlion82 might surprise you by coming outside and saying, ” yeah I know I am but thanks for dropping in to remind me “.

    Simple as ABC

Wonder if Martin Fry lent Swanny his gold suit to see out the season in such a disastrous fashion?
