I am quite confident that the average home game crowd will go up next season unless we managed to stay in div2.
What’s your confidence based on?
Confidence based on Ernest Prawn telling him, just as he was about to get on a private jet bound for South America with a suitcase full of cash stuffed under his arm.

As for the Ronnie Radford moment, that was 1972, haven’t we learned or moved on from that time. The game has changed, policing the game has changed and stewarding the game has changed. We can’t keep on reliving the past and say this is still acceptable today.

Well let’s hope the police pursue it then.
Clutch your pearls 😂😂😂
Well they should pursuers that through the appropriate authorities and do the job properly or at least suggest it, you know actually attempt to see the right thing is done properly, do you not agree?
Will you attend the last home league game this season BS just to watch the Iron bid farewell to 72 years of football league membership? There are probably a handful of supporters perhaps still attending games today who remember the Iron playing in non league but not many as logistically most will now be dead. Quite sad really that the huge majority of fans will have only ever known league football for our local side and will see it all end in May. Thought you might rock up just one last time, end of an era and all that stuff. Not the end of the world but still a very sad time considering all the reasons why it’s happening.
It really is unbelievable we have to go through this bullshit every few months on this forum, the rules are quite plain and are there to provide the best conditions for everybody in the ground to enjoy the game and to keep everybody safe. Sing, cheer dance, bang a drum if allowed, create as much volume and atmosphere as you want to get behind your team that is all fine and is wonderful to hear and witness as part of the football spectacle we all enjoy. However when a fan or fans run on the pitch that is when it all turns to shite because that could easily be the trigger point for somethings we don’t need or want to see at a football game. Rochdale have missed a trick with their ban from home games for those two idiots, we know exactly what they will do next. Some clubs are as stupid as some supporters IMO.

Yep one thing leads to another, fans run on pitch to celebrate, one offers verbal to player, another fan sees this and decides to push player whilst taunting him. These things can soon escalate into something ugly. Don’t run on the pitch, It’s illegal as is throwing flares, it can lead to injuries that’s why both are banned. Bloody Muppets just won’t be told but they are the first to say ” but we love our football and we are proper fans “. Load of bollocks, just a bunch of idiots who will f*** the game up eventually if allowed to do what they want.

So they can still go to away grounds run on the pitch and confront opposing players then? Yes very sensible that.

😂😂😂😂
At least the lines got repainted pre season NLI so that’s a positive but your right about the car park, the stewardship of the hard surface car park behind the West Stand has been disgraceful for years and people pay up front for the privilege of being treated so shoddily.

February 21, 2022 at 9:41 am in reply to: Petition Scunthorpe and North Lincolnshire Council #232446Awaywego is a bit like Fox News, he doesn’t deal in facts he deals in distortion passing it off as truth. Fact.
Apparently it’s breaking the rules Ferrite but then again so is lobbing flares, they had a go at both on Saturday.
With the current astute businessman in charge Ferrite you are completely correct, he would have been gunning for the Premiership paying KVV £60,000 a week on 9000 gates.

BS re your attendance record. Don’t forget to knock off all those tax dodging years when you were abroad supposed to be working, that should knock the attendance record down a bit. As for me, 58 years attending Scunny games man and boy, plus I paid tax all the way through my working life plus I’m still paying it now on my pensions. Some of us class as proper patriotic Brits eh BS. 😂👍

I worked with a Wigan season ticket holder – they had their end of season party before the Barnsley match – they were all steaming
Proper professional players then!!! Disgusting attitude.
Actually after seeing the picture of the living lard bucket in his shitty tracky bottoms passing as a Rochdale fan from yesterday, the topic headline reminds me of him.

Not sure what Awaywego is trying to find with his tongue but it ain’t gonna be brown sugar that’s for sure. 😋
He seems a bit frisky with his posts, guess Yvette isn’t giving him any at the moment.

Yeah that’s him, Lard Arse Larry from Gracie Fields country. LOCK HIM UP.
Currently watching England v Spain ladies International. 0-0 at the moment, watching players who can actually control and pass a ball correctly and do it very well makes a refreshing change from the crap served up at GP. As for the future I shall continue watching my grandsons play through their junior football years and if I’m still around when they are grown up and hopefully playing still at local men’s level I shall continue to watch them. Who knows they may even end up at Bottesford or Brigg Town

Mr Wharton was far too successful for a man with limited resources who only ran the club as a hobby. How could a man with probably three times his wealth, with an astute business plan behind him and the acumen to run the club more professionally ever hope to equal or even beat the success of Mr Wharton.
