For the name, we should borrow the original Middlesbrough team’s name and be Scunthorpe Ironopolis.

With a new Greek chairman, Mr Papadopoulos

NLI we have been through this, Hill would know that Loft and Hippo were leaving because it made good business sense and anyway he would not have a say as the Chairman wanted money in for players that would be free come May. Delaney is on loan so will only be here next season if a deal is done in the summer with Morecambe, unless he gets released of course and decides to join us on a free.

    Swann was not there

Very true but he will have been made aware about the balls, the pitch invasion and the ” we want Swann out ” chants. Just nice to keep him feeling uncomfortable and for him to realise his PR crap on the website and on the Iron- bru podcast is not being swallowed.

Have a great day out with your lad Steve J, hope you both have a blast. Let’s hope his own lad isn’t 13 before we get back in the league. UTI.

Cribb and Beestin both scored on Tuesday.

We don’t want any of that nonsense in a league game do we?

Cribb not in the squad so I’m guessing an injury or illness ruled him out hence Shrimptons recall from loan. Beestin can’t last 90 minutes anyway and if his long term fitness can’t be addressed he could be gone this summer. A shame but the days of passengers in next season’s squad must be sorted before a ball is kicked in August.

Just one little lad who looked about 14 was thrown out cass by the centre exit in the East Stand so yes pleased to see the rest got back in the DRE after what happened re. handcuffs a few weeks back. Thought the Mansfield fans were good but the Oldham fans were better IMO.

Probably been to more SUFC games than you’ve had hot dinners IA.

I doubt it I’m a pensioner who has watched the Iron 58 years, you on the other hand come across as a snotty nosed kid barely wet behind the ears.

    Sad scumbags

Yep you have to be sad to put money in your rivals coffers just to watch them drop into the same league your own team is in but that’s codheads for ya.

What you protesting against? The ‘potential’ new owner sitting in the stand?

Potential new owners sitting in the stand tomorrow looking round thinking, ” what a shit hole, bet the current owner isn’t in the hotel business “, oh wait.

Daz if any protesters get handcuffed by stewards tomorrow it could turn into a riot, particlarly as the stewards would be going against the wishes of the football club with such a provocative action. Just to remind the people currently passing themselves off as matchday stewards at Scunthorpe United, the club pay your wages through the contract with your employer, you had better do what the club requests, or face the consequences.

Swann will want as many fans there as possible, he can then say him standing down was a master plan.

If they can sell them let them have them, I would have given Mansfield whole of the east stand.

That’s the uniqueness of opinion though Awaywego it’s worthless except to the owner of that opinion but we all have a right to express one. In the cases of Hill and Swann they have the power to carry out their opinions and turn them into deeds, however if people feel strongly that they disagree opinion wise with either man they can choose to attend games or not based on how strongly they feel. Being a fan though and loving the club and having watched that club for a lot more years then either man mentioned has been involved with SUFC, that’s the dilemma fans have to wrestle with whether to continue to attend games or not.

IA, I’ve got better things to do than pretend walking from the Honest Lawyer to the ground will have any effect on Swanns ability to find a buyer.

Football clubs get bought/sold when individuals/consortiums prove they have the finances to do so.

Oh go on walk down and introduce yourself, bet the public are dying to meet you and your owner biased opinions.

But as a fan I can see Hill isn’t doing a very good job. Does anyone think they couldn’t have done any better than Hill?

As a fan you can think what you like but in the real world it means Jack shit.
