Don’t remember Boris apologizing to Sir Keir Starmer after calling him Sir Beer Korma in Parliament, then Starmer being cleared of all wrong doing in the matter of breaking COVID rules, unlike Johnson after being caught breaking his own COVID rules and being fined. The Tories believe they are untouchable when it comes to so many areas in life, they truly are an appalling patronising bunch.

We still get the paper but it’s more habit then anything else, it’s not very good but the website is worse. By the time all the adverts have loaded you’ve almost lost the will to live and it’s desperately slow.

    Yet Dysons are still hoovers.

Serious point though, Pat. So many complain.

    Hoovers are vacuum cleaners.

    …and washing machines.

When the feedback starts on the PA I half expect some heavy metal to follow, sadly it’s somebody attempting to give half time scores in distorted tones. les is right it’s absolute pants.

The acid test is Swann, he must leave before a proper relaunch can take place, just too much poison around the place while he stays.

Remember mid table will still be a bonus after four seasons of continuous shite and failure.

Give em a run in pre-season friendlies – nowt to lose.
The goals are the same size and in the same position on an U18 pitch as on an open age pitch.
    I want to believe!
    The truth is out there!

Is this forum the x files now🤔😂

While mentioning paper, we made the front page of the non league football paper, big colour photo, when did we make the front cover of any paper?.

Cods posted it on their forum while having a good chortle at our expense, fair enough that’s part of banter but a few were gob smacked when Butterfield signed. Made me smile a little 😂

It’s all about Wednesday and what he says on the podcast, if it’s no sale then the majority of people will still not buy one.

Just Google consensus view on man made climate change from scientists involved in the studies worldwide. The figures are overwhelming but it still won’t stop some people saying it’s all nonsense and here’s the reason why blah blah blah. It’s been done to death DM and nothing new will appear if the debate begins again, people banging heads together and not changing one iota. History will judge us for the self opinionated selfish non sensical bastards we are. Well done the human race you came so far in such a short time, then blew it.

That could mean one of two things….

Could be on about his latest script.

If he can stay fit and he’s as good as some on here are saying then won’t his agent be looking to get him the best financial deal possible? If so then surely a league one or two club with more money then us and that’s a lot of clubs these days, will come calling.

Can we read anything into Lee twice calling the ground Glanford Park??

Probably means he will be on the carpet Monday morning for not calling it the SVS.

Thanks for the Divine Comedy video DM, very quirky which I think is good in music. Neil Hannon has the look of the late great comedian Graham Chapman with the pipe and specs. Always liked Talking Heads who had an unusual quirky musical way , David Byrne was brilliant IMO and Tina Weymouth was a fab bass player.

Sargents have been gone for decades – or so I thought.

They got bought out by a firm from east Yorkshire I believe quite a few years back but I don’t know if the orig name exists anymore. What about Blyton ice cream, best in the area for me, always packed out in a summer, I’m sure they could come up with something if asked.

I referenced the strike on the 30th Ironawe by the train drivers Aslef members not the strike by the lower paid on the 27th RMT members, but I suppose that just about sums your intelligence up on subject lol.

You don’t get unions or brotherhood’s or sticking together at all do you, former shop steward my arse, more like shop stupid in your case. No more breath wasted on you pal.

Can’t believe Awaywego was a shop stewards in his day, he knows how solidarity works and how to use the power of striking effectively to benefit all members pay grades and T’s & C’s.
