Govt pressure on the media to silence those with alternate view hmmm heard this happened somewhere before….
Hope your not referring to that wonderful bastion of free speech Mr Putin 🤔
Awaywego as usual missing the bigger picture.
We didn’t need two target men and Bennett for me from what I’ve seen is the much better player both technically and in the air. Just hope Barrow don’t recall him before the end of the season, bye Gerry just probably not what was required here after all, best of luck though.
I might start watching it again without that smug git presenting. I don’t need anyone to tell me what I’ve just watched. A missed opportunity to sack him and save the licence fees of over 8000 poor pensioners.
Think you’ve missed the bigger picture here Alfred but hey it’s just my opinion and your entitled to yours. I hope the BBC are in breach of contract with the Premier League because no presenters or analysis will be available this Saturday night and they offer the deal to ITV. The BBC are a sellout, first by Johnson and his £800,000 loan and then hiring the guy who helped set things in motion by giving him the BBC Chairman’s job and then pandering to the political right wing and media by coming up with this shite about Lineker. Freedom of speech by a private citizen on Twitter who is not a BBC journalist but a freelance sports presenter!!! F*** off BBC, free speech my arse.

I notice when Braverman misquoted Lineker’s tweet and mentioned the Holocaust ( which Lineker didn’t say in his tweet ) that nobody from the BBC rushed in to correct her or at least correct the mistake ( slur ) on BBC news, funny that eh?
The Premier League should offer the Saturday night highlights show to ITV, with no presenters or analysis the BBC could be in breach of contract, hope they are, the BBC are apparently running scared of the right wing in British politics or so it appears.
Don’t be gambling on that run ending Tuesday. We had a 3-0 lead last time we played them and still couldn’t manage a point.
TBF quite a lot has happened at our club since ” the last time we played them “.
Shame I was really warming to him and I believe Jimmy would now have him down as one of the first names on the team sheet. However he is on loan from Forest Green and they are quite within their rights to recall him if they wish, good luck Harvey and thanks for your efforts. Time for someone else in the squad to step forward and take their chance and we have options in that position.
Your posts don’t change Buck’s are you now a usual suspect 🤔
His investment in the USA armed forces was not that great actually, like any new leader the budgets of most armed forces increases year on year due to the normal funding of these institutions, from a percentage point of view he was nowhere near the greatest increase in spending by a US president but hey in his latest speech to CPAC the other day he lied 23 times, so what else is new with Trump.
Trump is only interested in Trump and there it ends I’m afraid, not a fit and proper person to lead a nation IMO.
He should have received several yellow cards IMO and if he had then maybe the league table would look a lot different. It’s probably not healthy to keep going on about Mullin and Wrexham but when fans see obvious injustice taking place as regards a certain club and a certain player then they are bound to feel outrage. Fans appreciate hard graft, endeavour and honesty on a football field, they won’t put up with constant cheating and referees turning a blind eye.
Do you need a lie down?
Yes he does, with a psychiatrist asking all the relevant questions.😂
Strange game, first half too deep, nowhere near enough to the opposition as a result therefore no pressure on the opponent who ran the game comfortably without being too dangerous. Altrincham after their battering on Saturday would have probably settled for an away point and maybe even grab a cheeky winner. However second half, play further up the park, therefore nearer the opponent, therefore put them under pressure with better pressing, they don’t like it, they can’t handle it and it’s a comfortable win for the Iron. Still not too sure about how Jimmy wants the team set up but I think he will continue to chop and change whatever we think and I expect more mixed results until we are finally relegated in ten games time. Ah well, Up The Iron.

Our seaweed chomping chums are certainly loving the Irons current sad situation on the fish meal forum with the Scunny thread proving very busy and Messers Hilton and Dean featuring prominently..let them have their fun
Was it ever thus from our fishy friends, those webbed feet and fingers aren’t there by accident you know, although some mutant hereditary gene has often been put forward by some scientists as the cause.
I reckon Hilton should sack Dean and appoint WonderGoals as manager.
Good call, all those years on X-Box have turned him into the razor sharp tactical football genius who wows us all daily on this forum with his knowledge.😜
Anyone else having same issue with redirecting to bitslot
Happened a couple of months back but my cheap Amazon tablet blocked it although it did slow down the pages on bru loading, actually it’s back now but I’m just ignoring it till it goes away again. These things are annoying but unless SST can come up with some ” super bug zapper ” fix, we will just have to go with it.
Ben Affleck
Roger Waters
Justin WelbyAnybody remember the tv series Marcus Welby MD from the sixties and seventies? Bloody awful American drivel.
Any body read The fishy ?
They are laughing there cocks off at us.Shouldn’t that be fish tails 🤔
Not interested in tweets or facebook postings and all that crap, just know that six games is no time at all to be passing judgement but it’s just my opinion.
Took me by surprise when I saw the score, considering the form of both teams recently, also took me the rest of the night to stop laughing 😂
Where are the goals going to come from?
Did you see Bennett play on Saturday? Just imagine him and Elliott getting decent service from a couple of wingers, which we have in the squad, that’s where the goals will come from and i’m sure it would work at this level.

Aye, a touch of realism all round is what’s required here but everyone is entitled to an opinion.
If we start with wingers and Bennett plus Elliott up top we will win.

I used to believe these were real when I was young and they really annoyed me
Marina from Stingray
Basil Brush
Snork MaidenStill find them annoying
Good points SJ, think a few haven’t fully accepted we are down yet and while it remains a faint possibility we could survive the chance is beyond slim. I agree that Jimmy hasn’t nailed it tactically or selection wise yet but to think he could transform everything inside 16 games was expecting a bit much IMO. If the new players that have come in were under Nelson, he too would struggle to make it gel and work, we are where we are because of the last four years, new players and 16 games left when it changed for us all as a football club won’t change that fact.

We deffo need to start with some width on Tuesday night, very impressed with Bennett not only big and strong but good on the ball and wins headers. Once him and Elliot get it sussed they could be very good together but as I said we need a winger or wingers to make it work.
Cost us two points through yesterday with his handball.
Yep he did but I think we can all agree that he was a victim of the new handball rules which the majority of fans I speak too say are pants, however, rules are rules whether we like them or not. In defence of some of the refs decisions yesterday that left a lot feeling disgruntled, on watching the highlights the only one I think he got wrong was the push on Pugh in the area which looked nailed on to me. The handball hit Bennett’s hand and his arm wasn’t tight to his body ( I know why would it be ) but under the new law interpretation the ref was just sticking to what the rule says now, yes it’s bollocks but it’s the law . Looking back on all the other talking points about how the ref handled things, I thought he was right IMO.

Just listened to him on Humberside and sounds so unprofessional, players surely won’t be motivated by that!… (mate)
Doesn’t sound any worse then Barry Fry or even Harry Redknapp IMO and they both did ok in management. Look the guy is still finding his feet and isn’t always making the right call on team shape and correct selections but give him a bloody chance. As for how he speaks to players, it’s football FFS not a posh girls finishing school, get a grip.

We have been down this ” it were like taking bread to the top of the world ” vibe a few times now, always worth a chuckle. I always remember when we ran out of coal for the fire, Dad would suck a peppermint and we would hold out our hands in turn while he breathed on em to keep em warm. Central heating!!!! Pah, bunch of wimps these days.
