I would hope any judge would take all considerations into account but in the end he will make a decision on what he believes is legally correct. It’s worth pointing out that does Ernest want to take possession of the ground and land just to let it stand empty for any amount of time to prove a point or has he got a buyer lined up or even has he already sold it? Either way it would seem a sensible outcome if the ground and land haven’t already been sold elsewhere in a deal that will come into play once the club is kicked out, that the club stay on paying monthly rent until a certain time as the whole site has been sold. A suitable notice period could then be worked out before the club vacates, either way does Ernest want to cut his nose off to spite his face? Seems rather silly if he does
Well that’s good news, I’m sure he mentioned he was his wife’s primary carer and I got the impression he wasn’t in the best of health himself. Wish the old lad well, though he’s probably my age.
Will the judge ask Hilton about his so called contingency plan if we get kicked out, if he hasn’t got one will the judge think twice about wrapping up a professional football club just into a new season and putting all those players and staff on the dole. It’s a big call whoever comes out on top.
Is alcy still with us, there was a rumour he’d shuffled off awhile back 🤔
England second best throughout which is disappointing after they overwhelmed China in the last game. Nigeria very powerful all over the pitch but their big game inexperience let them down particularly at the shoot out. Lauren James bang out of order and desrevedly sent off, hero to zero in ninety minutes, thats footy for ya.
Actually on reflection it was the early eighties, think John Duncan must have been manager in Mike Angus’s time.
Remember going in the early seventies to watch us grab a 1-0 away win, Mike Angus got the goal I believe, think he came on loan from somewhere and yes London Road was a bit of a throwback to an earlier age for football, haven’t been to Peterborough for years.
Just to remind us where we are operating these days, I see Peterborough Sports crowd yesterday against Scarborough was 352, reality check or what. 😳
Good work Matt, think anyone who witnessed it didn’t need any weed last night, it just blew our minds.

Iron Insider an Iron fan!!! No chance, I suspect he might be batting for the other side.
Perhaps he was down in Brighton yesterday cass, despite the train disruption.
Have we got a lot of 4g opponents in this league, best be prepared better if we have?
I remember Rochdale fans invading GP not that long ago after scoring a goal and I can’t remember if their club got fined, I just hope we can keep our noses clean with the authorities this season because it’s been a very tough time for our club, particularly in recent months
What the hell was all that about? Hacked or gone nuts? Either way, it’s done now. Blimey.
We certainly live in interesting times DM, despite our differences and the odd faux pas that comes all our way occasionally, I think we all have a certain amount of decency and respect for one another. Best to draw a veil over certain proceedings that were posted tonight from, I presume, a former forum member. Blimey indeed.

I’m not name dropping Siderite but that someone was me and I have asked insider several times to go to the press but he never responds he just evades the issue and yes WG well said he should go away and support another club or maybe he does already and that’s why he spends his time spreading his poison on here.

Being grossly abusive to the owner just about sums you up ironinsider on a day when our club kicks off its new season with three points. The majority on here since three this afternoon have been discussing on field matters, good and bad but just generally generating a massive sigh of relief that we still have a club playing football and that is down to David Hilton. You said our team wouldn’t wear a new kit, no new players would kick a ball for us and we wouldn’t play a game at Glanford Park, well, wrong wrong and wrong again. Why don’t you take your vitriol about our club and it’s owner and do one.

See how we do playing on grass next Saturday, a win is a win and it will take time to adapt but it’s a good start and plenty of food for thought for the management team. Well done guys 👏👏👏
…..only for Man U fans 😂
get out hilltons arse
they have not been paid
they have mortgages and mouths to feed and it stinks.Been to the press yet?, Humberside, Look North? Thought not, if your so concerned stop being a moral coward and do the right thing.
More interestingly is he still betting 😳
have all staff been paid? the answer is no
academy staff have not been paid, hilltons lickspittle has confirmed this,
they have children to feed and bills to payAre there no work houses are there no prisons?, Charles Dickens would have a field day doing a biopic on Scunny according to you.
i would strike if i was them
they haven’t been paidSez you, no evidence as usual, pure speculation, go to the press seeing as your such a concerned Iron fan who loves the club but you won’t and the majority on here know why.
So if he sorts things so the capacity isn’t altered he’s a top guy in your book insider, being as these stadium capacity rules are breached by other clubs pre season and they sort it?
I think it’s the tripe sandwiches being cancelled on match days, or maybe it’s weekdays on here 🤔
I’m sure someone will be along shortly to inform us the U18s have nowhere to play their home fixtures this season.

Tripe sandwiches pulled from GP catering outlets on matchday. What a refreshing change.
What has the Screen Actors Guild got to do with anything?
Did you enjoy the recent Test series les? I thought it was probably the most entertaining series we have seen in recent years, certainly since 2005. Thought we might as well discuss something different for a change.

Nice to see everyone playing the ball anyway 😜

Very true to life IB, I remember Bremner going in with both boots many times for Leeds in the sixties and seventies, then after the unfortunate victim got to his feet, Norman Hunter would come in and finish him off.

Blame Musk for that. You have to have an account to view twitter now. 64 has it right. Someone pretending to be Hilton, calling a fan a paedophile over and over again.
Thanks Siderite, sounds all very unpleasant, another good reason for never having gone on twitter.
IB, hit the link you posted and nothing apart from a big X saying sign in. Just post what it says if you think it’s important.
