Surely such an event has to be chaired and whether you like him or not Tony Gosling is the person most suited I know of,yet the trust seems to have been sidelined
It’s a pretty low rent line up ,like the Chave fest we’ve all forgotten about, perhaps after this the carpet will get another bump. Hope they’ve not thrown away the sweeping brush
Not a day goes by on this forum without the usual subjects whining about the club or the stadium or the owners or the players or the staff!
Some of you ought to get a life.Usual suspect ,Greenun, registered 11 years ago, created 3 threads and generated 28 replies.
I bet he wishes he’d got a life and done something constructive like abusing people online so badly they call the policeIf you go on the DAZN highlights themselves (on their app, not the club ones) it does at least show our excellent 2nd goal.
All three looked pretty good goals
Can you actually post without swearing,?
I can’t now trust me,
Don’t buy it
No mention of price increase,
It may make him a better team player which will benefit us,or he may just try too much, his biggest failing?
I’d have thought that Whitehall needs the responsibility more and would have benefitted from it,
Boyce seems an odd choiceAs an influential site we at Iron Bru have been very patient and forgiven a lot of this administration.Mainly out of respect and gratitude for Michelle on particular.I can see that changing if the rest of the board continues to back Roberts who it seems is obsessed with change for the sake of it and like above shows has little attention for details such as communicating to fans such important things as price hikes

I think we pay too little tbh.Tgis is about respect and competence
This is a massive screw up,Roberts era Iron again.
This price rise, although not huge ,being sneaked in shows a complete lack of respect. It also nay have helped fans decide to buy season tickets.
Roberts and Sharpe love a launch video and throwing in Partnerships for the sake of it like the ticket system which probably swallows up the price hike ,or the new shop Muppets skimming profits ,but simple things like respecting fans seems way off the radar.Even the fans reps are blatantly just there because the Trust upset board members over fc100000
It’s also alarming that the club are all over social media and will know the discussion on here and other platforms yet don’t see this as serious enough to warrant an urgent explanation .They’ll just carry on retweets about how be great things by the same old faces1 user thanked author for this post.
I’d love t know which bit about the three you mention Awaywego I am wrong about? just claiming them to be our best isn’t a proper assessment of how they play. For instance did Whitehall play a team game and bring others in to play much ? He has ability but if he just stands around waiting like he did last season he won’t get the chances .Had he done his job and occupied defenders others would have more space and our play would not have stalled so often.
Did pointy Clunan just make a pass and not join in the rest of attacks? In fact he would often turn his back on attacks and go back to defenders for a natter or something ,that killed any impetus we may have generated. He was our captain and responsible for our tempo which was awful. Or are you now going to tell me you loved our style of play and tempo ?
Did the greatest keeper the world has ever seen actually have much to do? I can’t remember any worldies or consistently fantastic distribution.August 6, 2025 at 8:24 pm in reply to: New Bru podcast – run it by the lawyers first, lads, eh? #309030Badapple because I don’t agree with one or two? You have an odd grasp of reality ,I get on with all of the committee personally ,I can’t agree with everything they do as we’re human and all have our own opinions.
I don’t see us finishing very high , purely because we still have a few from last and most of them were just not good enough .
I’m pleased we kept Evans as he played very well in the second half of the season and signing Rose is a good sign.If we defend as well as we did in the last half, our keeper will be ok, after all, the journey man got away with it last season and became a hero ,
I don’t like this idea of a CDM, it’s just a crap gaslighting midfielder who leaves us lacking in attack from the gamer era where every player has to have a dedicated and limited role (effing number 10s etc).I’d like to see a partnership that works as a team there ,no point one hanging back all the time ,it just makes it easier to defend against us and doesn’t help our attackers.
I worry about our attack, Neither Beck or Whitehall can bring our wider players into good positions if we’re going to use the same system we need a proper centre forward who will hold it and bring them in from wide, Beck fits the bill in style but not quality ,let’s hope he improves .Whitehall has the ability I believe but not the tactical nouse ,or he just won’t play for the team in that way. One of them has to change for the better .
Our wide players also need to move the ball quicker into our forwards so the can bring them back in to play further up field .
Whether it’s 4-4-2 or any other PlayStation imagined formation, if we don’t pass it forward quickly enough we’ll get mulleredAugust 6, 2025 at 7:02 pm in reply to: New Bru podcast – run it by the lawyers first, lads, eh? #309017why would they ? It’s not hand picked by the club or government like in Russia or China.
Being wrong doesn’t make them bad peopleAugust 6, 2025 at 6:19 pm in reply to: New Bru podcast – run it by the lawyers first, lads, eh? #309012Whats it got yo do with you who they invite on the forum.
about as much as what I do or say has to do with you I’d guess. As you ask ,I as a trust member value the reputation of the trust and how it is represented .
August 6, 2025 at 2:51 pm in reply to: New Bru podcast – run it by the lawyers first, lads, eh? #308994I’m not sure why this guest is on with a trust board member on the panel too. This is a club/trust relationship PR disaster in my opinion .Stamp is banned from GP and this will clearly rub someone up the wrong way at the wrong time, Danny Stamp is allowed his say ,he’s not been shy on saying it ,this may not be the best forum for it
what ticketing agencies are partly responsible for is the rise in dynamic pricing
Roberts said ” Smoother ticketing journey” god I hate this wank speak crap.
It seems like it’s anything but smootherNo matter how Roberts wraps it up, they’re a ticketing agency and all ticket agencies are the Devil’s spawn
Iron group picked from a list suggested by the club lost any credibility before it started. If that is the case how they were picked
It’s clearly another shot aimed at the trust
And yourself.
I doubt I figure in anyone’s radar.
The club/party picking the candidates is a bit on party state democracyWhy is an annoying drummer an obvious choice?
I notice it was set up before our new supporters committee could ask questions
Will they be serving coffee and Crem. Are they helping with dead balls?
Brought in to bury the Trust?1 user thanked author for this post.
These roles are pointless in my opinion. The club should have contact with fans group as a working committee looking in.Tgese people don’t look prepared for the vile abuse heading their way when “the corner” doesn’t get opened or they don’t get the manager sacked for a bad game
It’s clearly another shot aimed at the trust
