It’s a fact that Israel has a very over and well organised group of Lobbies in the UK that coordinates their pressure and statements in very close cooperation with the Israeli embassy. I’d say that’s more important than a game ,one of the worse things you can do to someone is make them feel unsafe in their own home.
Anyone who thinks this is forgivable or a reasonable response to a chat on football ,a game,or people should move on is a clown and or brought up wrong .It certainly shouldn’t be rewarded with club contracts and invites into the boardroom.
