I don’t mind the booing,more often than not it’s reflex reaction,a bit like swearing out loudly when a mistake happens or a groan. It’s a human reaction to an often excitable situation.
What I cannot accept are the swivel eyed loons making deliberate attempts to get close or catch the eye of and personally abuse a person over a football match.
Those who absolve such behaviour or dismiss it with statements like”Swearing happens at football” are just as bad or worse. The same clowns get upset when players don’t just take snidey comments or abuse and actually respond with such awful sentences as ” we won didn’t we?” I don’t know how they sleep at night when such comments bother them.
I remember the same with Beagrie and Billy Sharp, Sharp got dogs abuse when he played for Donny and our little cry babies were incensed when he scored a goal and celebrated .
Ive been abused by players before, Mcaulay .My friends offered out by a player ,same one , we laughed it off and still do1 user thanked author for this post.
Hllton and Swann ,sorting the financial damage they did will cause us difficulties on the pitch for a few seasons yet. It’s unfair to judge a manager now when you consider the crap he inherited, players lost, and restraints he still has.
Hell be sacked ,we’ll owe him and his staff money .The next guy wlll come in and be sacked within two years.The cycle of failure will then continue.We need to break that cycle and the idea we’re an unsettled sacking club1 user thanked author for this post.

Although Andy Butler will be then next victim ,I cannot see how anyone coming in will get this poor set of players flying. This core were boring to watch last year too and we’ve lost a couple of the better players ,it’s not just Butler. This team is rotten ,it’s spine is useless .We’re at he point with Butler if he tries to be positive , he’s deluded . If he responds to abuse he’s out of order{the worst trait of fans is expecting people to accept abuse}.
The fans are rotten too , they are winding themselves up online and letting that spill over into their behaviour at GP and creating a vile and toxic atmosphere then expecting players to try and be expansive, they’re terrified of you and making mistakes . It will happen with the next manager too .I cannot see this ending well.
The vultures are circling, Goatboy back, Hilton’s mouthpiece apparently sniffing around ,not to mention his fan boys on here still stirring the pot .
We have people from supporters organisation also sticking the boot in , including aiming barbs at the board ,how can they work with the club now ?
Unless attitudes change we’ll be stuck in this league or with no club.
I’m worried about the board too, I think Michelle has to go before the knives are drawn on her, she’s too good for that to happen to her. that motorcycle commentator has he actually been seen around?
