Visit https://www.lukebroughtonphotography.com/ for more of Luke’s fabulous Iron photos.
‘Studio’ literally looked like someone’s converted attic or shed. Cheapskates.
So far, you seem to be right. Slightly better quality than Sunday. Who was that dickhead and biased co-commentator on DAZN on Sunday constantly complaining about the quality on display, like he’d never watched a game at that level?
Bullet the mullet
No way sis.
Indeed. Been discussed before on here quite a few years ago as I recall
Suspect Clunan wouldn’t have given up his day job without Dave’s silly money contract.
All good advice. I dislike cold callers more than estate agents.
In depth interview with him prior to the game here:
Rarely look on X and the Facebook Group but just looking back at the number of people claiming Roberts was definitely going to play is staggering. I can understand ‘might do’/ ‘you never know’, etc, but to adamantly claim he’d be playing despite lots of evidence to the contrary, speaks volumes.
Much better today on Android / Chrome. Almost as free.
My favourite comment: ‘family went for drinks to celebrate and his brother Tight wouldn’t get a round in’

American player?
Saw a lovely photo of some fans with his family from Sunday
Money talks. Just ask Dave.
If and when he goes I hope there’s a general understanding and acceptance and less of the negative histrionics that followed Butterfield’s exit for far too long last season.
I won’t hold my breath though. I can already envisage ‘the Board should have fought tooth and nail to keep him!!!!’

Wonder if Roberts injury will make clubs wary given his previous record.
Wouldn’t have thought so after this season, but I’d be concerned about his current injury if I were a potential buyer.
Nothing wrong with a bit of Cava. Some are better than Champagne. The French will tell you that.

Average Saturday night in Lord Bobs in the 80s. Rough as f*** but some good shifts from the regulars who’d cut their arm off for a lock in.
May 19, 2025 at 10:10 pm in reply to: Yet another…’what have you been listening today?’ Thread #304818Good to hear from you IB. Hope you’re keeping well. Thanks for everything you did to expose the c***.

I actually don’t think I’m right very often, that’s the irony. Gobshites like you calling for sacking the manager the minute we hit rough patches gets on my tits though. Evidence is already showing some of you will never learn. Deluded.

And another who completely misses the point. And I’ve never made out people had no reason to doubt him. I have a problem with premature calls for his head and those that abused and demoralised him. If you were capable of reading and understanding, you might comprehend that Pep.
The Citeh fans crying was truly embarrassing. Like they’ve never won anything.

HMS PTL has arrived at it’s destination as predicted. Faced choppy waters, but completed the voyage to the promise land.
She should have won the Blue Ribband, but instead limped into port three weeks later.
Now some of the crew will no doubt jump ship and Captain Butler will have to send out his Press Gang to put together a company worthy of steering her around the Cape of Vandarama and into the EFL Ocean.
Anyone catch a glimpse of Seaman Staines on the pitch after the whistle? Can’t keep his gormless fizzog out of a camera for long.
Some seem to think that’s a prerequisite for the ‘Fans Voice’ or whatever it’s called Apollo. What’s happening with that anyhow?
DM, if he had continued in the same vein – no way would we have been rejoicing today.
Maybe it was fan pressure; perhaps board pressure or personal revelation. Who knows? All that matters is that he began steering the Iron boat in a better direction. You’re completely missing the point Les. Yes, some criticism was deserved. Calls for him to go, chants about his football being shite plus the demoralising insults and the abuse he endured were not deserved.
Maybe it’s got nothing to do with the football geniuses on socials

Alfie can do a job in the National League

Mid table aren’t we?
But but…he’s not ‘likeable’ apparently. One of the most idiotic pointless comments I read on here this season.
