Enjoyed the Leeds v Chelsea highlights last night. Not a great admirer of either club but good to watch.
You’re missing the point completely awaywego. There was a good point Siderite made about hoolies seeking out other hoolies, which you ‘thanked’. Those Solihull fans on Saturday were not in the slightest bit interested in a ruck-a few started goading back after constant provocation and aggression. The so called Scunny fans caused security and others hassle, scared those on the only coach they had, embarrassed the club, kept the ball twice when it was absolutely pointless anyway as we were losing, went on the pitch trying trying to get to away fans, etc. Many of us can reminisce about the old days and it being worse sometimes (seen plenty worse than you’ve described but not going to glorify it here, particularly on this thread – it’s not the point) but don’t try and tell me those lot on Saturday were acceptable. Stain on the club tbh. Do you have any sympathy for Neil and Lee having to respond to and deal with the fallout from it? Anyway, last I’m saying on the matter. Pointless arguing with you.

Maybe he was and if so I’ve misunderstood it. However, I do think it detracts comparing that sort of behaviour with Saturday’s lot. Completely different.
Not ‘swapping’ ends with opposition fans though is it? It’s Scunny fans going from the side stand in to the DRE.
Fair enough. I don’t recall it ever from ’76 onwards. When did it used to happen? Which years? Sounds very civilised. Couldn’t happen now with the cast of Oliver Twist causing hassle with opposition fans.
‘go back to the showground days and all swap ends depending which way we’re kicking’
Maybe in your day awaywego, not mine. Don’t recall any game where both sets of fans swapped ends at the OSG. The only thing I recall happening is going into Fox St for one half if it was empty or opposition fans taking the Donny Rd end occasionally. Never any swapping I witnessed. Maybe pre-1976?
As for your other defence of the wannabe hoolies (assuming these are the so called Iron Youth you’ve bigged up in the past?), I’m sure the majority of fans appreciate a bit of youthful exuberance that occasionally goes over the top. This wasn’t that – it was virtually constant aggression without provocation throughout the game that was an embarrassment to the club. It spoiled the game for those near them and no doubt most the Solihull fans. Then there was the coach hassle outside. Chanting at the back of the OSG Donny Rd end is not in any way comparable to the behaviour of those lot on Saturday. To be honest, I’m not surprised by your comments. Slightly surprised it took you so long though. Wonder if you’ll get a little thanks from a certain someone soon?
Also a necessary requirement.
Also Neil getting stick for supposedly ‘hiding in the Directors box’ despite him also visiting several parts of the ground. Like yeah, what’s a Director doing in the Directors box ffs? Ridiculous hassle he’s getting.

Read similar to Mick earlier. If I read it correctly someone was complaining that the section had been opened up in the first place – hardly Neil’s fault for fan behaviour. Also someone saying the gate being left open was a trap? Ridiculous claim.

‘Successful experience of coaching at National League level and turning water in to wine, essential. No time wasters’
Get the impression from Neil on Twitter that it’s being taken care of CBRP. Hope we don’t get fined over this.
Some enjoyment – if shortlived
To be fair to WG he wasn’t the only one.
That’s the trouble with changing managers mid-term. You’ve only got a choice of those who are available.
And they’re available for a reason!
Laws is available
Fair analogy. Not confident about those floors mind.
Not better after being 3 nil up!!

Maybe Lee should consider a crèche with free colouring books and soft cuddly toys for these children to play in?
Tonka toys and rattles

They did. The one coach of friendly fans who will only have bad things to say about our club now. Witnessed from the car park. Average age about 15 I reckon. Crisps and fried chicken diet.
Yes. 2 or 3 walked in towards the Solihull fans (who incidently looked uninterested in them apart from being tired of their constant yapping), but were stopped in their tracks by an alert security officer. One had gone on the pitch. Not sure why both weren’t ejected tbh. Not one for heavy handed security in general but some of the security around them were too much the other way. There should be a middle ground. They may be daft kids playing up but they’re an embarrassment to the club. Lee’s working hard to improve the matchday experience. Shouldn’t be tainted by Fagin’s little bunch of scrotes.
Couldn’t agree more. Idiots thought it was funny to not give the ball back when we’re 3-2 down with 5mins to go aswell. Not that they were watching the game anyway. Too busy acting the hooligan. Also, banging on the wall when Solihull had a free kick in a good position. Do they actually realise that’s a rallying call for the free kick taker??
In the relegation spots now, we probably won’t get back out.
Five of the next 7 games will be extremely difficult.
That’s optimistic.
A perfect fit!
I’d suggest giving McMahon a go if the defence wasn’t such a shambles
Bit early for night fishing IA?
Lawsy? Yes, I’m being serious
No you aren’t DM
Deadly serious. That’s how desperate it appears now. He wouldn’t stand for this lethargy / lack of desire from some of the players. He’d scare them in to action by staring them out. Got a feeling the players don’t respect Hill. Can’t vbe any worse can it?

No explanation needed…
‘Enough is enough. I can’t go on, I can’t go on, oh no no….’

Is Lee in charge of Keith and the player budget?

I think the answer is ‘loads’. What’s the prize?
Agree with all the above, apart from Hill being a plant / henchman.
