Can’t believe that! 🤣
Does it run in the family then?
Near perfect title that NI. Prefer ‘Down the Swannee’ though but I get the reference to Carry On up the Khyber and the like…
Madness or respect, depending on your perspective
Yes, you’re right Darlo1, however there are still numpties around here that make out it’s no different from when he had a previous Chairman (Chairman not despotic owner), who had the reputation of overseeing one of the best run clubs in the country. ‘Better the devil you know’ my backside! Never was a phrase so inappropriately utilised.

To be far to Alcy when he was saying potential buyers would be out there, it was a long time ago when the club would have been a far better proposition than it is now the current owner has run it further in to the ground. He was saying it before Swann ‘wrote off the debt’ in return for the ground if memory serves.

‘In your evolutionary worldview we are just animals’. Bet that’s not what he thinks bpg. Besides, ‘being treated like animals’ is as much a turn of phrase as anything else.

You’ve explained it well enough I-A and Gurny without me having to explain to him. Thanks. Only thing I’d add is, funnily enough, they used to talk about the Stretford End being a toilet, but awaywego can conveniently forget that one! Yes, stereotyping, it’s what you’re doing, and does football fans in general no good whatsoever, despite people like you scapegoating Liverpool fans.
As for being convenient about not attending that match awaywego – hardly – unless you think I’ve ever said I’ve attended nearly every home match in recent years?
Thought this was about a new Carry On film. Is Lee, Sid James?

Maybe so, I wasn’t at that game. The point is your tiresome stereotyping of Liverpool fans, fuelled by the right wing press, doesn’t stand up to facts and comparisons with how other Premiership club’s are approaching the minute or moments silence.

At the moment or at the minute? You don’t appear to understand the difference, lol.
Ooh, how time flies in Manchester. I just timed City’s moments silence at less than 30 seconds, lol.
In fact, I can’t recall the last time a supposed minute or moments silence lasted the full 60 seconds at any sporting occasion I’ve attended in the fairly recent past (pre-Covid mainly of course).
Lol awaywego, you were watching the Liverpool match? Yeah, right! Parroting what you’ve read in the paper more like. It never was announced as a minute’s silence’, it was ‘a moment’s silence!’ For anyone interested in the truth try this:
Liverpool will be dismayed after ‘nervous’ referee forced to ‘abandon’ silence against Ajax
One saying ‘Swann Out!’ and derogatory reference to ‘the owners’ gives the game away regarding some of the worst reviews

Guessing that was Leanne, given the timing
Surprised the orange one didn’t become the new club badge, replete with motto!
This is my point about listening to the primary sources whenever possible. This is what’s really going on but the naysayers either don’t see this or ďon’t want to see it because it negates their narrative
Life comes at you fast: pundits on Russian TV realize that their military is failing and their country is in trouble. They are starting to play the blame game. Some of them finally understand that their genocidal denial of the Ukrainian identity isn't working in Russia's favor. pic.twitter.com/jNNn5xifI5

When I hear people saying ‘all this empathy and support for Ukraine from the public will start waning as the cost of living increases further’, I wonder how much of that is wishful thinking on their part.
‘Both the worst of the left and the right have shamed themselves with their desperation to apologise for Russia. The leftists, because they see western capitalism and ‘neoliberalism’ as the great evil, and any opponent must be more supportable.’
Agreed – well put IMO. What I find ridiculous ìs some hard left friends trying to back up spurious claims with conspiracy theories rather than listening to the source itself: what Putin, his puppets and Russian media say. But no no, it’s all NATO and the West’s fault.
I see were back to telling us about the 70yrs again, though I do have memory problems, how many years was it?
Lol, I’ve got memory problems, sure you’ve only told all that you were a shop steward once and not a dozen times

You missed out on the best burger in the world!

Spot the example of unsubstantiated guff above
‘displays very little critical thinking’. Absolutely agree – have the same conversation with friends who haven’t gone full tin hat
I doubt there’d be that level of interest here to have two warring factions
the home of lefty republicans’
Not all football fans support Liverpool but…
This is what annoys me most about content creators like him and Brand. Manipulative charlatans conning people for personal gain, IMO. I have friends who have fallen for their BS and I’ve gone from being annoyed with them over the years to more recently genuinely feeling a bit sorry for them. These people are making them more paranoid, untrusting and anxious by the week. It’s healthy to question what you read in the press and watch via mainstream media, but lunacy to go completely the other way and believe any unsubstantiated guff some unqualified bod parrots on youtube.

It could be fun along the way starting over.
Just come across the 2009 play off final CD. Half a mind to watch it again later. Not watched it for 7-8 years more
I thought NI’s post was a bpg fishing trip not serious. Was it a serious post NI?
It’s the stadium and grounds I’m more concerned about
