I’m surprised they know that much about our club and the next few years ahead. Most I know, haven’t a clue about our prospects.

I’d imagine Brighton will play with a pretty much full strength 11 with a semi on the horizon. Gulls 4-0 Cods
Very well argued Gurney.

I’d take Rene’s tendency to negativity with a pinch of salt rich.
‘Despite Deerey’s snide little comments, designed to belittle me just as much as he claims I’m trying to belittle him, I can assure you that a lot of BBC employees are seriously fed-up with Lineker.’
Just re-read my post. Nothing snidey there (I’ve certainly made them in the past mind), you just don’t like it up you Bucks. Get over it man. Still you persist with ‘I assure you…’. What school of argument winning did you attend? It’s a school boy error to think that in any way validates your claim. Must try harder.
Strange what some people get satisfaction from. Starting to sound like Polly the Parrot there awaywego!
He’s apologised for a lack of restraint. I’d like to think we move on, but Bucks may have something to say?

I was in class with someone who’s parents owned a Chinese takeaway. Harboured dreams of free chips and curry sauce. Never materialised. Well, maybe once!

A mention of the social media output of Trump Jnr in this piece from a new report on Russian disinformation – interesting to see ‘awakening wonder’ Russell Brand with him on pics circulated recently. Useful idiot or paid up passenger?

Not much consistency in this reporting malarkey. I’ve seen far worse recently.
Bucks, you’re missing the point about ‘people I used to work with’ as evidence of supporting your claims, but well done for using it as an opportunity to belittle the person you’re trying (badly) to reason with. Me bringing you up on it has nothing to do with my view of PR, which again, you use false accusations about, because you don’t know what my views on PR are. Starting to sound very much like a man shouting at clouds, old boy.
I’m sure there’s a Beatles song in here somewhere…
Remember all the effort put in to finding ‘benefits’ of Brexit. They even set up an entire Ministry to help Rees-Mogg identify some. He couldn’t & they still can’t. So here is the latest desperate attempt to polish the almighty turd. The ‘Brexit Pubs Guarantee’. Good grief. https://t.co/dNRzUWFwg6

On nursery rhymes, here’s a prophetic one…
‘Seesaw, Margery Daw, / Jacky shall have a new master; / Jacky shall have but a penny a day, / Because he can’t work any faster’
Maybe he didn’t like being called ‘mate’ all the time?

‘Whatever happens now Tim Davie has effectively given carte blanche to any BBC person outside news and current affairs to say what they like.’
Agree with the majority of response to Bucks above, but I’d add that the quote above should be looked at. I’d say ‘so what?’, if it wasn’t the case it simply isn’t true that Davie has given carte blanche (guidelines review?) and it is unlikely to spark a flurry of similar social media output from BBC employees or freelancers (I’d suspect the opposite is true until the review has taken place and new guidelines issued).
Can’t not comment on yet another ‘people I know high up’ example of evidence – just a crass anecdote to bluff the casual viewer -regardless of it being true or not – something that we’ll never know or be able to disprove, and which discredits your argument Bucks.
Much of the abuse he’s had is from those with culture war agendas and issues with his earnings, IMO.
We’re all interpreting his meaning Heath. I interpreted it without a direct reference to the Holocaust but I appreciate that others don’t interpret it that way. Personally I don’t think this is about being right or wrong regarding the content of the post; it’s two differing interpretations and it’s messy. I would take issue with someone telling me my interpretation was wrong, but respect their thoughts and views on it, and vice versa.

Gonna take some time to get over that 7-0 drubbing by the scousers mate, we’re all here for you 😀👍
One influencer the world would be better without.
Why are you desperately trying to make him out to be wrong awaywego? It’s okay, for once, just to admit you are. The only person turning it into a panto, is you.

Not sure why you’d go out of your way to try and tell Pat he hadn’t received free U18s tickets when he clearly had awaywego?
On the subject of Murdoch, sober Bri talks removal from the planet and double standards:
You’ve clearly fully understand and comprehended Ferrite’s argument I see, Einstein. Though it’s true, all the world’s greatest minds use the expression ‘think as f’ 🤣👏

Well, you know, what do experts, scientists and academics know? They’re probably in the pay of the global elite neo-Marxist cabal trying to keep the real good men down.
Fair point!
That Tweet certainly highlights the hypocrisy Siderite, and whilst I agree there may well be better examples he could have used, I think we should also remember it was a Tweet from a football presenter / pundit, not an Oxford Union delivery. I understand the criticisms regarding the Tweet content but don’t really appreciate how bringing him up on this particular point is helpful. I’d rather focus on what he was responding to than a, perhaps, clumsy example. I’m also not sure about using the term ‘genocidal language’ to describe his Tweet content, but excuse my ignorance if it’s the case it’s an academic term.

Let’s hope he has some role at the club going forward. He’s still got a lot to offer, particularly in a scouting capacity.

Sorry not at our ground Pat under 18s Cost 6 pounds only under 12s free, no doubt you can blag it if I’ve got a spare free one I give it to the iron youth in the queue.
You give a free ticket to someone you can’t vouch for? That’s very clever.
