‘Maybe Deerey’s been serving a ban and that’s why he’s not been seen anywhere near glanny park’
I’ve explained numerous times that I attend games when I can due to living away. You’re just trolling now. It’s embarrassing tbh.
Was it? Man, I’ll sleep poorly tonight. Cheers mate.
How much are those comedy classes fleecing you?
Woof bah growl miaow. Donkay!!!
Pat did say about the segregation.
In the voice of Charlie Chuck: ‘I’ll tell yer that!!!’.
That’s great to know 👍
Smoked roll ups for years. Can’t stand cigarettes now. Make me choke
Who has the best lawyers? Swann or Hilton? Don’t suppose Hilton will be best pleased with his if their strategy is wrong. Hope they are right though, because groundsharing would be disastrous financially. Unless the magic money tree is still bearing fruit.
My huge tattoo of DH cost me that today.
‘when it was St Simon and Ian, most of you said Swann kept moving the goalposts’
I don’t recall anyone saying that on here. Wouldn’t have come from me as that’s not what Simon told me.
‘why all of a sudden are people believing in Swann when 6 months ago wouldn’t give him the time of day Deerey especially.’
Nowt to do with belief. Just being objective and not getting sucked in by emotional attachment.
‘Pat you know that’s what people want and all without no drop in quality far from it.’
Lol, What would you do for an a la carte slap up I wonder?
‘he doesn’t go to games so nothing to pay,’
That’s a lie you’re merrily turning into a myth.
The high court judge will care if there is a unregistered piece of land and aright of way for farmer McDonald senior. Why wouldn’t he that’s is job to sort.
Lawyer aswell as former shop steward? Is there no end to your talents?
Don’t think you need to remind us where you’re from Patrick! Interesting post though. Question: do you think your experiences at Ilkeston Town, catering for much smaller crowds, is translatable to 2-3,000 at Glanford Park? Economies of scale?
What if I choose a different charity to Cliff? £2.5k each? Don’t think I’d choose a children’s charity tbh. Let me have a think.
Any update on when the Swann v Hilton case is due in court? The elephant hasn’t left the room.
‘Don’t mention the war!’
Who cares about burgers and onions
We should all care, EVERY revenue stream is crucial to a club our size, especially one with huge mark up potential like food & drink.
There’s a magic money tree by the look of things. Either that or someone is blagging it.
That was yesterday. We’ve moved on. Today is another day. Today I’m getting a tattoo of DH’s fizzog on my chest. UTI!

🤣 Well, yes! My daughter showed me the trailer earlier. Should be good. I’m a recent convert to the Mick Herron Slow Horses books. Great adaptation by Apple of the first 2 books. Looking forward to more. Jackson Lamb not smoking would be plain wrong. Fantastically portrayed by Gary Oldman. I used to live next door to his sister, Mo, from Eastenders. Never forget the time one summer she shrieked, ‘there’s a fackin big rat running towards your garden!!’. Think she must have scared it off as we didn’t see it. One time Gary pulled up in a chauffer driven black Merc. Much curtain twitching commenced. Brilliant days. Mid 90s. Though that was more of a side show. Best of times, with great friends, to this day. Oops, getting nostalgic and melancholic. Sorry!

July 23, 2023 at 10:22 pm in reply to: Yet another…’what have you been listening today?’ Thread #267374Agreed, tomorrow is another day. I wish you no ill will Patrick. Good luck for Ilkeston Town FC this coming season. Do you have an independent supporters forum for your own club?

What was the point of the tennis balls? Not being a true fan, I didn’t attend. Has anyone asked the culprits
Can’t imagine Mad Men without everyone with a fag on every 5mins!
I’ve accepted your response Patrick. You don’t appear to have accepted mine. And tbh, my comment about you was more a dig and little wind up with awaywego. I’m sure you’re a lovely chap, and your hospitality to some of our supporters is genuinely gracious. That’s fair enough isn’t it?
