You’ve had the opportunity to read both posts he’s made I-A. I don’t understand your logic tbh. Can you see anything in the content to suggest it’s fake? I give up. If you don’t want to view the evidence first hand, can’t help you any further I’m afraid

Oh ffs, why would I lie about it? I don’t know maybe awaywego simply can’t locate it again. Here, just been on the group and hit copy and paste:

‘Jamie Partridge some of you have extremely short memories. Your club was weeks away not months from disappearing forever. There was nobody at the table prepared to save you and the few that did talk about it previously openly admit they would not of had the funds to have kept the club running this long.
Here was me thinking I’d gifted (not loaned) the club £1.7m so far which rises to £2.5m by August. How silly I’ve been if you’re saying I don’t own the club. How did I miss such vital information.

In respect of the stadium, did I take it away from your club? Did I take away your clubs purpose built home and gift it to one of my other companies in order to wipe off a debt that was only amassed due to my own mismanagement of the club. NO

What I did do was promise to bring it back and in January agreed a deal to do so. Did I refuse to carry out vital legal work that the deal relied upon? Did I break every promise made in January that built the very foundations of the deal? NO

What I have done is work hard 16 hours a day to build a better future for your club. Put my money in when nobody else would and probably still wouldn’t and all whilst receiving abuse and hate, all fuelled by nonsense and lies created by supporters of other clubs.

I am not holding your club to ransom, I am simply a custodian. If you have a better alternative to me then let’s hear it, bring them to me and let’s talk. You go on like you’ve got 100 oil rich Saudis queueing around the block with £200m to invest.
Either bring this saviour to me, wisen up or simply shut up as my patience is wearing thin now and the alternative for your club without my money is extremely bleak.’

Pretty sure he previously had a Facebook account as David White I-A. Maybe he reactivated it to respond to a few posts. Or it’s some imposter? Who knows?

That will be somebody else trying to make out that Hilton has gone back to his old name.

Hilton would be a bit daft to sign up on there to that name wouldn’t he, come on ?

    You’d have thought so yes

I think it is him tbf he’s posting a few bits as David White surely no one would go to the trouble of creating a whole account of him with his wife and kids etc that would be bizarre .

😂😂😂 You green as grass I take it.

Appears he’s not so green I-A. Here’s the same David White responding to a fan fed up trying and failing to purchase an 1899 membership:

‘Please accept my apologies Andrew. We are currently going through a transition process and handovers with staff. We also have several senior members on holiday and obviously alot going off at the moment.

We are not taking any further applications at present until the stadium situation is resolved. We have offered refunds to all current members and seven have taken that up.
Many have already made big savings on sponsorship and received free season tickets and because it’s a lifetime membership they are prepared to ride out this storm. I totally respect the ones requesting the refunds however and we will action it asap.

Thank you for your support and rest assured things will improve’

Just my opinion but I believe all those twats on the twatterverse deserve each other, let them all embrace each other in their twattingness.

That’s some broad sweep and would include club officials and many many people who’s opinions you may well share. It’s not simply because you’ve decided to not even look at it is it? 🤣

Just wondered why you’d asked Les. Wasn’t implying you have an agenda.

The new owner clearly expects you to be viewing Twitter I-A. Get with the programme mate. I’m sure LK would concur ‘your club needs you!’ 🤣

Don’t think you’d find the liberal left types on here offering to do shift work for one another. Plenty of evidence from right wingers in our own government of a ‘you scratch my back…’ approach 😀

Open to interpretation JI, but I find his general view of the world and mankind quite bleak. He has a low opinion of it that perhaps says more about him than what he’s judging. ‘Long before his illness’. Agreed. ‘Rooted in empirical evidence’? How so? Rooted in his brain IMO. Not sure I’d agree about there being 2 sides to him. More than that I reckon!

The original question was asking if there ‘is’ not ‘isn’t’. We don’t know for sure there isn’t a Nigel Farage mouthpiece on here, but I reckon there’s more than one!

A very long thread, the point of which was what Les? Assume it’s in relation to Mr Bell tweeting that much of the false information being bandied around emanates from ‘Iron Bru’. Are you implying you think he meant it comes from this forum and not SST, as most people assume? Hard to know maybe, because since he dropoed that turd he’s not spoke again about it as far as I know. Just dropped it, went off and left a mess in his wake. Not sure why we’re still giving him the time of day tbh.

It’s an independent football forum not some dodgy forum that you ran in the past! Say what you like about Swann, he didn’t have a track record of getting too involved in social media. Can’t see any possible reason why he would want to have someone connected to him posting on here. He hardly needs to win over hearts and minds. Those days are over.

I also don’t subscribe to his bleak view of the world and mankind. Think his opiates dependence might have something to do with that? Very negative outlook but remedied via medication. Hardly someone to be taking inspiration from!

Just read the piece, quite rushed. This extract encapsulates what I think about Peterson well:

‘He’s also able to weave in a lot of different topics together, where he’s got the self-help, he’s got religion, he’s got psychology, and then the politics…If you listen to one of his lectures where he’s in this lecture hall talking for  an hour, two hours, he’ll go across all these different topics and weave them, like he’s trying to give the impression that they’re all unified together. But it’s this hodgepodge of different things that maybe aren’t related. It gives this feeling of “Wow, this guy knows about everything, and he’s just so knowledgeable, and he’s giving this profound insight that other people just don’t have. I think there is definitely an impression that you’re getting genius insights from this person. I think that’s what leads to over-trusting of his information, because if he’s a genius, then why look into anything he says? He must just be correct.’

As the ‘Decoding…’ guys frequently point out about ‘guru’s’ like Peterson, they’re big on charisma and often stream of consciousness ramblings that link a lot of disparate ideas together to form a grand narrative. But when you examine what they’re actually saying (when someone like Peterson stops for breath!), it often doesn’t stand up to critical analysis. He and others like him are also very good at slipping in a ‘but I could be wrong!’ disclaimer, but equally tell you that they’re absolutely right. Very contradictory. Also, very keen to knock leftist ideas but whilst saying for instance ‘Trump is bad and I don’t agree with him’ don’t go to town on him and the far right in any way near as great length. Reminds me a bit of our old pal Bucks with a cursory ‘of course what the Tories did there is wrong’ but then proceeds to rip in to the left fir the rest of the discussion!

Might have misheard the McConnaghy stuff. I see he’s got an autobiography out now that looks worth reading. Ordered a copy.

A mate just sent this, a piece about how Peterson uber fan became disillusioned with him through critical thinking. Haven’t read the piece as yet myself.
