That clip was deceiving. They were well organised and shaded it in the first half and were only denied by some excellent break up play and saves in the second half.

Yes. Fitter too, passed the ball better particularly second half, created more chances and were clinical when it mattered. Very accomplished.

IMO because the gantries are so low in this league the camera is so close to the pitch it’s often toing and froing like a tennis ball at Wimbledon and they end up with a blurred image following the ball from one end to the other. Not much they can do about that other than erect a high gantry like they do in non league FA Cup matches, and budget wise that ain’t happening.

Brogan looked much more comfortable and effective in Roberts position so maybe start him and use Roberts as an impact sub to give more width on the right if there’s an opportunity to exploit a weak left back? Looks most effective to me when he cuts in from the right flank and dribbles with it. Quite a handful.

Didn’t think Whitehall played too bad but not that good either. He was being a nuisance but too many poor passes and touches to justify not getting subbed. Missed an excellent chance second half, missing the target from close range.
