That’s me done. He won’t be bothered as he took my season ticket money cash in hand.
Sat through one tyrants reign and certainly won’t be doing it again.

Hard to keep track these days. It would be worth taking screenshots as so much information conveniently disappears.
The one that stood out for me on the Facebook statement was the contradiction with his statement on the official website with regards to the club being sustainable on crowds of 3,500. A few days prior he was stating the club brings in an income of 40-70k in gate receipts with a top line wage bill of 130k per month. How’s that sustainable?
What pub did you end up in? We couldn’t find the place laying on grub for Scunny fans. Ended up in the plough.
Heard more scouse accents today than Lancashire which was a surprise.
Fair summary Awayswego. We look a completely different side to S’boro and South shields, midfield non existent. Hardly strung 3 passes together
2 centre backs now potentially both out so we are on the bare bones. Then again, can you blame the players with all the background noise.
Good traditional non league ground was Chorley, would happily go back. Away crowd of 400 was so subdued- could barely muster a chant.
Gainsborough CEO doesn’t seem aware of it on Twitter.
Sherbert Lemon really is having a bad week. Hilton must either be furious or delighted with how he’s performing.
Again, you fail to distinguish the difference between an individual and a company. One more time and you keep the match ball.
Actively looking for Matt Ellis’ address tonight. Looks like it was the wrong bloke
Previously enquired about the identities of Bru members.
Accusing Bru of posted pictures of Hilton’s daughters house when none exist
When this lad acquires a brain cell he’s going to be deadly
Or are not in debt up to their eyeballs

He told a mate of mine that Smitho knows who he is and he won’t be allowed into GP
He tried insinuating it again about club bans and then performed a world record backstroke when he realised what he was implying.
It will Be interesting to see where further cuts can made, especially off the field which can’t be far off a part time operation as it stand.
Some posters on here have questioned how sustainable this team is, and by the figures released by Hilton this week, the answer is, not very. Taking a rough average of our income for home gates, we are in a deficit of anywhere from 50-100k per month which is being covered by Hilton. That’s just the wage bill too.
Either crowds swell to 5,500 per game or there’s going to be choppy waters ahead for HMS pisstheleague.
Hilton is the owner you must keep up 64.
The Club and Hilton are 2 separate entities. I presume Sharp will be suing the club
Viking FM reporter put a post in the group asking for opinions, he was subsequently told to f**k off and removed the post.
And people wonder why outlets don’t bother reporting on our plight.

September 20, 2023 at 1:08 pm in reply to: So. Either DH Has Put Loadsa Money Into The Iron or He Has Not. #272912Well someone as been putting money in, for us to last 9 months, I’m betting on the tooth fairy. Could it be all borrowed? I hope so but what could you borrow it against with zero assets , a!I will come out with the washing one would hope.
Washing you say? Hmm

September 20, 2023 at 9:37 am in reply to: So. Either DH Has Put Loadsa Money Into The Iron or He Has Not. #272870Why were legal obligations not met because he was worried about the reaction by supporters? In what world does that make sense?
Where is the money coming from? There is no traceable source on companies house. “ it’s none of our business”- well it is if we are expecting fork out for season tickets, merchandise and £2,000 for the 100 club.
Why were supporters excepted to fund the ground and the purchase of the club?
You’re a respected poster on here Les, you must realise something is not adding up

It’s a cult in there, exasperated by useless moderators who didn’t have a backbone to keep on top of things so gave a lunatic the keys to the asylum in Jason Herbert.
The fact they are still blindly
Following Hilton even after that pathetic leaving statement and the revelations of unpaid debts, is mind blowing.6 users thanked author for this post.
Who can blame ‘em?
I’d be putting half the effort in if I didn’t think I was getting paid
It’s not all bad at least we play Boston on the Saturday now. Always a silver lining
What makes you confident we are still around then?
Worst day in our history?
I called for a statement of clarity last week, hopefully for the board to rally round Hilton in support; Fantasy land.
Honestly can’t see a way forward now. We are limping to the bankruptcy court. The remaining piece of the jigsaw remains why Hilton took us on in the first place.

Awayswego silence was bought with a double cheeseburger and chips at Patrick’s burger van.
He’s done very well to get the noisiest supporters on his side. I think more of an issue for him is what did he tell the other directors and JD to get them onboard ?
Interestingly There’s been a momentum shift in supporters opinion over the last few days. I’ve noticed many on social media – even in the cult group- are asking questions they previously wouldn’t have.
* please don’t confuse ‘asking questions’ with hounding him out

Aye. It’s probably best left to see how everything plays out.

Ok so the majority of fans on this message board are against David Hilton. But the majority of the football club’s fans are not members of Bru. The Facebook page is pro Hilton, and personally, so am I.
I get the feeling there are some on here who would see the club go down the drain, just because they don’t like or trust the chairman.
It really is quite sad…
Why not put your point across reasonably and have a debate with people then rather than throwing your toys out of the pram ? The conversation doesn’t have to be binary.
We have people who are worried about the recent revelations from a credible source; We have ex players coming out saying wages aren’t paid; We have CCJ’s; we have no traceable source of income for the owner.
If this makes me toxic, negative, a moaning **** then so be it. I made the same mistake blindly following Swann and I certainly won’t be doing the same here.

There isn’t one.
We need to hope he has the funds and the will to keep us going.
We need to hope there are no repercussions from the FA and the national league.
We need to hope the latest rumours about ex players not being paid and tax being owed is fabrication.
We need to hope that Peter Swann doesn’t make us homeless.
Clutching at straws aren’t we?
Hilton was very swift with an interview, now just give him time to think things through and decide what’s right for himself and his family. Not to much to ask after all most show empathy with black lives matter, Lbqt—, women’s rights, and jumpers off bridges who are prepared to commit manslaughter. Whoops.
Who said anything about a statement from Hilton? We have an 8 person board in place who can communicate; either by issuing a statement of support for the owner or vice Versa.

‘Oh No’ Deerey where has the money from.
Very good question.

There’s too many major obstacles I fear we will encounter if a Phoenix club to emerge and become successful.
As you point out, we have no realistic prospect of playing football in Scunthorpe for the foreseeable future. After all that has gone on, will we get over 1,000 fans bother to travel to G’boro every week to watch a different version of SUFC? I don’t see the appetite for that.
The biggest one, and something that that most of the other clubs who set up Phoenix clubs didn’t have to encounter, is the division of social media. Everything in society is becoming increasingly polarised; look at how things have emerged this week following the athletic article. How are we meant to agree on a club kit, name, nickname etc? Anyone at the club currently who has stuck their head above the parapet recently has swiftly realised it’s not worth the hassle.
Maybe if we achieve some unity if the club is to fall, get some local businessman involved with a pinch of integrity and manage to find luck on the way we could achieve what Darlington have. But look at how they are reaching a ceiling, even at this level.
You’ve annoyed most of us on here IB, myself included at times. That’s probably more down to cognitive dissonance on our part. Unfortunately for us, your information appears to be bang on the money.
On all platforms I can count on one hand the accounts/ people who seem genuinely pleased with what’s unfolding.
This idiot- ironinsider/ironeye, is one of them.
There’s a false narrative being spun that he is now being hounded out by supporters.
I’ve seen few messages actually openly wanted him to leave. Apart the Facebook cult group, most supporters seem not only concerned with the revelations in the athletic, but the manner in which they were hidden after honesty and transparency were promised.
In all honesty, I’d wager most of us would put that to one side if the football club was set on a path where our future was secured. However, we now have ex players coming out demanding wages- and from what the ‘rumours’ are suggesting, the same rumours which nearly all being proven to be correct unfortunately, things are only going to get worse.
My hope was that in his interview he would double down on his commitment to SUFC. A small part of me still does but that is more in hope than expectation.
For anyone to suggest this is in anyway the blame of supporters, needs to sit back, take emotion out of this and objectively look at what is unfolding in front of us.
