Couldn’t possibly charge for two words of advice could you?

I very much respect your opinion les but offer the following comments re the OP.
2. Shrimpton had 2 opportunities to provide assists for goals, he hugely overhit both crosses.
3. Promise from Cam but lacks the physicality/stamina to be influential for 90 minutes at present. Work in progress.
5. Based on what I saw (wish I was a statistician) I doubt our pass success rate was much over 50% if that. Gave the ball away too easily too often.
7. He can’t get the best out of Butterfield sadly and failed to see, early enough, that Lavery is not effective as a lone striker. He is also still under the impression that Carver is a footballer.1 user thanked author for this post.
January 2, 2023 at 9:35 am in reply to: Disappointingly, Depressingly , Disgracefully Repetitive #251718Well apart from a different goalscorer it was same old same old. We kept the lead for 7 minutes, bang avereage based on the previous 4 defeats. So still nothing has been learned, scoring first used to be an important factor in how a game panned out, not for us seemingly.

Any idea why we didn’t give notts county and chesterfield more tickets to bring more money in to lessen the burden?
You weren’t very supportive when I suggested that.
Either way, the point is that just saying none of the club’s money was involved does not absolve Swann of responsibility.
He has said plenty over the years, was it all true?

Crewe have a well deserved reputation for bringing through young players. Good move for him, good luck Rob.
And a Happy New Year to you too.
Can’t see that a transfer embargo is necessary. With things as they are who would even consider signing for us?
How much has been spent compiling the list of players that Turnbull has said we’d like to sign?Don’t worry, this weeks patsy will be along soon to tell us they will “take the positives” from yesterdays game into the next match. We will be assured that “we know what we have to do and where we need to improve.” This will be followed by another sub-standard performance from which “we will take more positives.”

Lavereys goal bound shot blocked by Carver
Might as well move Carver to CB and see if he can stop some of the oppositions shots. Doesn’t look as if he’s ever going to score does he.

Regarding Apter, does anybody else think he’s regressed rather than improved since he’s been here? (Wouldn’t be the first I know!!!!!) He was pacy and exciting when he arrived and looked well capable of handling league football. Not convinced now but maybe it’s just the environment.
Same age, played against him every year 12-16 Westcliffe vs JLGS, Good lad, RIP.

Exactly who needs the money?
Your question I think.
In January, gate receipts from Wrexham and 2000 Chesterfield fans, also the money that was saved when Ian and Simon paid the wages for December.
So you agree that we do need the money then.
And in January?
Employees would be high on the list I’d have thought.
Give them 6,000 – we need the money and it won’t affect the result. Be good to see the ground full, get plenty of grub/drinks in and maximise that too.
Based on these 2 entries it would be easy to doubt the validity of the information.
“Peter Swann (born 1965) is the chairman of Scunthorpe United FC”
“Date Of Birth 1963-01-01”Also:- Nicknames – Peter Swann
seems lacking in imagination.1 user thanked author for this post.
‘Ernest played by Jonny Vegas or Matt Lucas’
I wouldn’t wish that part on either em!
Googled short, fat, British comedian!
Should the story ever be told on screen I doubt there will be any need for a comedian, nothing remotely funny to be acted out.
Didn’t take him long to issue a statement about this (OWS) Just a shame a statement regarding the sale seems to be taking a little longer.

Unbelievably all that money lost gambling and that wasn’t his fault either!!

It’s Kieran Maguire if you want to read.

Wealdstone averaged less than a goal a game in home matches before they played us. They got 3 which suggests we might need to score 7 to win.

Which is the more appropriate term, ” soccer thug ” or ” football hooligan “?/blockquote>
Depends who you’re talking to? But I’m not so much defending soccer as criticising “footy”. I mean “footy thug” is the sort of thing the Sun would come out with, surely that’s a winning argument? How are you with “togger”?
Another spanner in the takeover works?

Mixing up your Maids, Sir O, can only lead to trouble in the long run.1 user thanked author for this post.
The return of Jordan Hallam very soon will surely help us climb the table.
Two matches won’t allow us to climb far and we’ll be lucky if we get two.

Same for shots which used to be caught but are now palmed away. If punching away crosses has to be the method at least the keepers are dealing with them rather than the Mussy way. Watch and wait and then look to save the shot/header that comes in because the cross wasn’t dealt with.
Carver.
One of the few (very few) games this season I thought we deserved to win and I include games we did win in that. We must learn to hit the target more often though.
