Is it another MUST WIN ??? ..
More like another ‘can’t be a*sed to try to win.’

Probably needs an upgrade. Can computers experience optimism?

If I were Hilton I’d clear off, dick head so called fans here don’t deserve him.
You’re right we don’t. We certainly don’t deserve Dean.

Richards-Everton possibly worth keeping. Slow, but having seen worse donkeys in NLN reckon he’d be okay.
If it was the player that arrived I’d agree, if it was the one that played yesterday then no thanks.

Chapman – good for NLN level
Ogle – my POS but easily NL standard
Beestin – if fit
Butterfield – if motivated
Elliott – if used correctly
Wilson – more to come1 user thanked author for this post.
There wasn’t anybody in front of them for most of the game, it was a 9/10 man defence after the first 10 minutes.

two players in Pugh and shrimpton can hold their heads high and say i’am really trying.
If they’re saying that they should also add that they’re not good enough. I didn’t see much evidence yesterday that they were trying any more than the rest of the shower and Pugh knocked off early.

No defence IMO.

Care to list those that would remain Rene? Shouldn’t take long using those parameters!

It’s still early days for Dean, that’s true, but he’s showing no signs of learning anything and that’s the problem. He has decided how he wants to play and the fact that it isn’t working is completely lost on him. The fans (even the oppositon ones) know it and the players know it and have reacted accordingly. Professional pride clearly sadly lacking in The Iron squad.
Remind me again of that definition of insanity Rene.1 user thanked author for this post.

“We will possibly pick up quite a few yellow cards in our remaining fixtures as players frustrations grow”Very doubtful, the players aren’t interested enough to get frustrated. I wouldn’t rule out a few reds though, Pugh showed them how to get an early finish when you can’t be bothered any more.

A fiver today would have been robbery.

Just as a matter of interest (maybe) and for comparison. Altrincham had a man sent off after 79 minutes, they were 2-0 down and drew 2-2.

In a season littered with embarrassing performances a new low was reached today.
Another game without a goal.
Another game without testing the opposition keeper.
Another game where none of the players gave a s***.
Another game where we set up not to lose.
(And when we went down to 10 set up to keep the score down.)
Like for like subs AGAIN.
A team that can’t string 3 passes together playing goal kicks short to a defender in the penalty area – unbelievable!!
Here’s a bit of Jimmy’s pre-match in case you missed it:-
“I expect a reaction. There’s no point trying to get away from it, it’s left us in a really difficult position. There’s no excuse not to go out there and give everything. This club and these games means too much to too many people. I’ve told them if we can’t do that then it’s completely unacceptable.”Well ‘mate’ they obviously listened and showed you what they think.

JB Way to become Ilkeston Parkway?
Peter Swann lounge?1 user thanked author for this post.
Scunthorpe United football certainly!!
Bennett is injured so carver will have to come in. I don’t think it’s exactly a downgrade though in all fairness as they’re both crap.
Carver looks more dangerous in our box than the oppositions. Bennett was what we’d been missing until a couple of weeks ago.

The vastly experienced and talented Keith Hill thought many of the youngsters were good enough to keep us in the Football League. Surely with another years experience they should be good enough for the NLN.
(And they’ll be cheap!)You’re 5 days late!!
Just listened to the start of the podcast interview Hilton’s well pissed off with the fans
Jimmy is delighted by the fans support and Hilton should be too. I guess his dissatisfaction stems from there not being 1899 £1899s forthcoming.

Probably Sooty or Nookie Bear.
You proposed 4-4-2 on another thread, are you as confused as Jimmy?
You only see the board advertiser’s on match day Cass why would they need a refund or want one.
Training days, restaurant days, shopping days, stadium tour days. People pay for exposure.
A few weeks ago we were offering a great advertising opportunity in the form of stadium naming rights. I guess that’s now no longer an attractive proposition (if it ever was) and another loss of potential income. Will all the board advertisers around GP be refunded?
Turnbull might have gone, doing a great impression of the Invisible Man with laryngitis lately. Has he been gagged? kidnapped? sacked? Ilkestoned?
Club shop, ticket office?
Depends whether you ask me or Wonder Goals!

Yes but where? U12s, U14s, U16s or Crosby Colts on a Sunday. Never mentioned in U18s.
Has left us.
Apparently he’s just signed an Apprenticeship with Grimsby.
Just read that he’s scored around 200 goals in something like his last 60 games.Playing for who?
We’ll still have some left Brassy.
Chapman
Pugh Boyce Young Lewis
DS-F Shrimpton Moore-Billam Wilson
Elliott Poulter
Subs:- Foster Cribb Wallace Gallimore Sellars-Fleming
Maybe even Beestin Rance & Carver -
