“The 32-year-old has had no shortage of suitors in higher divisions, but opted to return to Glanford Park and train with the club a couple of weeks ago”
Are we really supposed to believe that??
No, very unlikely. Looked decent in the games before he lost interest IMO.

Don’t wish to appear pedantic but couldn’t you have used the thread which already exists?
I can’t see that an “option to buy” clause will be any use for a player valued at £150K.
Welcome and good luck whilst you’re here Connor.Anyone thinking a judge would call this yesterday was an idiot, there were those who thought we’d be kicked out and those who think Dave is god that thought a 1st hearing would go through this in a few minutes in court and throw Swann’s claim out .They were all wrong, then we have those that don’t care either way as long as they can tell people to shut up and somehow claim they were right to do so , they were also wrong.
Then they are those who just repeat facts that people try to wrongly lump in with some or all of the above ,they are right.
The last group are idiots, those who see facts and call them rumours
I would add, repeating what Swann or Hilton says is not repeating facts ,it’s repeating what they say ,which, may or may not be factFor the benefit of us idiots could you give a brief summary of the facts that you know are facts. No rumours please.

Have we totally given up on Rance? Didn’t see his name down amongst the injured.
We should have given up on him before activating the extension. In fact signing him injured was arguably an even bigger mistake.

It could be, I could hear Richard Hinds OK but the ‘commentator’ appeared to think Hinds (sitting next to him) was the only one listening. Speak up you twonk!!

set up to draw you lose!!
Tell that to Curzon Ashton’s manager, he’ll laugh at you.
Do you have enough to buy that T-shirt yet? Plenty to say but no action to fulfil your boast!!!! In case you’ve forgotten here’s what you posted on 26th June, SST’s done his bit, how about you?
“bill keep your money in your purse. if we start new season at Glanford park i will ask stt to delete my account and wear a tshirt with hiltons heed emblazoned across the breast. sadly i think my account is safe”
“Turny, Harness, Smokin Goat and the others aren’t registered at Companies House.
The only Director registered is DH.
This site shows SUFC Ltd as having two ‘parents’ – Coolsilk Property & Investment Ltd and Coolsilk Limited being the ‘Ultimate Parent Company’”Is one spoon enough?

“In other news, Habib Makanjoula’s dual registration with Ilkeston Town has been transferred to Gainsborough Trinity for whom he made his debut from the bench alongside first year professional Harrison Poulter in their side’s 3-0 defeat at Macclesfield Town.”1 user thanked author for this post.
Still waiting for II/IE to appear in his Hilton T-shirt as he promised. BH Monday at GP would be another great opportunity for him to gain some credibility. (If daddy will let him come of course!!)
To DH – I hope you’ve sent him the photo he needs for the shirt otherwise he’ll blame you as he has for everything else.Money in < money out?
Could he/she go down to GP then and provide some articles and match reports?
Maybe the sort of thing that you used to do Bob?oops!!
Still missing plenty though, lucky Rushall did as well.
Russ “for me” was miles better than Cox who preferred to talk rather than allow commentary. Agree it wasn’t Ollie’s best. Is Mike Dean still about? (Or Shep!!)

Go on RH twitter and click the link for commentary. Sorry, not bright enough to post a link. UTI.
August 19, 2023 at 9:19 am in reply to: david pay day was yesterday why are staff still waiting for their money? #269819He’s not a Scunny fan. I think he might have been under the previous ownership. In fact he might have been more than ‘just’ a fan, the kind that shows contempt for regular fans maybe? The club underwent a massive decline under the last regime, II/IE hopes he will be able to say “at least the club didn’t go out of business when I was a ‘supporter'”

August 18, 2023 at 12:54 pm in reply to: 09/08/23 – County Court Judgement – £1,547.00 – Case No. K5AA1W08 #269772This is garbage. The sponsors on Saturday got a few plates of party food which would have looked more at home at a six year olds birthday party instead of the three-course meal they had paid for and were promised!!!
I can confirm this, it was sausage rolls, cheesy wotsits and a few sandwiches.
The sponsorship price was to include a thee course meal. From the OWS for match sponsorship:-
“Hospitality components:
> Pre-match food in either the Jackson Stapleton Accountants Sponsors Lounge or the Consultiv Utilities Restaurant Bar”Has he got his T-shirt yet?
annot believe anyone would question WGs astute match assessments. Shocking.
You have to take into consideration the two people who questioned my assessment have a combined age which would probably compete with jesus. Eyes won’t be the best, will they ?
This is a football forum, watching football people see different things and have different opinions, this is the place to air and discuss them. There is no need to try and be clever if somebody doesn’t share your opinion. With age comes wisdom, you might still have some way to go, I’m happy where I am.

might get one more bill before final curtain
I didn’t spot you in your t-shirt last night, did anybody? I expected at least a lap of GP at half time so we could all show our appreciation. ( No that’s not the word I’m looking for, what is it?)
I was very impressed by Tyler Denton last night and Wilson’s attitude. No duds at all.
Thought Clunan was OK but no more than that WG.
Best passing performance I’ve seen for several seasons, the last two we could barely string three passes together.1 user thanked author for this post.
How interesting to hear Coxey and the commentator(?) having a good old chat although somewhat repetitive. Very kind of them to fit in 30 minutes of commentary in between.
From the article above:-
“The Safety of Sports Grounds Act 1975 makes provision for the Secretary of State (for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport) to designate any sports ground with accommodation for more than 10,000 spectators (or more than 5,000 spectators for grounds hosting Premier League / English Football League matches) as requiring a safety certificate to admit spectators.”GP capacity is 9088 so why do we need a safety certificate? Am I missing something?
Be easy on II/IE. He might be one of the staff DH has allegedly not paid yet. :-)
He may have also blwon his budget on moonshine last weekend!I think it’s possible he’s a Bewicks or Whooper but definitely not Mute.

Somebody said earlier that the Iron Trust had representation on the SAG. Can’t they influence their decision in the Clubs favour? DH seems to make some very valid points in his statement.
In the clubs favour?
That’s not how safety works” I am insistent that the local authorities and SAGS demands of our club are ludicrous and haven’t changed since the championship days. We are meeting with SAG again this week in they hope they start to understand the level we are at. I’m hopeful that the ridiculous requirements being insisted upon by SAG that are financially crippling our club are amended imminently. There seems to be no logic or common sense.”
It seems from this that there is room for negotiation and/or compromise (or is it DH’s imagination) I would hope the Trust could influence any negotiation favourably if that’s the case.

Don’t worry. Darlo can’t score goals and can’t defend. Can’t see you messing this one up even with managerial question marks.
If it can be messed up we’re the club to do it!! (Based on recent seasons)

Any chance of Whitehall and Elliott being on the pitch at the same time do you think?
