Signed for Southport last week.
Brogan & Fishburn look like squad building improvers I reckon.

You don’t like Simon do you?
Badapple is a better speller.

Don’t know Simon, never met him, never spoken to him but there is substance in ironking’s post above IMO.
Who else would you like to see back? (Limited to those that are still mobile enough)
I’ll throw in Murphy, Cliffy, Dawson, Hayes & Sharp.Hi Matt, I’m in but not listed.
That would be for the board to decide. Tahina Akther would be an example of the kind of person I was thinking of. (Perhaps on a more permanent basis though?)
Happy with the 4 owners but still think there’s room for directors that can offer others skills, knowledge and experience but don’t have cash to invest.

Now wanting money back from Hilton!
So what money do we want back from Hilton.WE don’t want any money back from Hilton, you were having a dig at Sharpe for wanting his loan repaid when Hilton was in charge.

I think wanting money back from Hilton is perfectly understandable bearing in mind events at the time don’t you?

With a match day squad of 18 I still think 21 is tight. A couple of injuries (Roberts & Law) and a couple of suspensions (Evans and Whitehall) and we’re short. Also I like the DM to be a tackler/ball winner, not Clunans game IMO. I hope the two priority signings are both MFs and one of them is Corbett.

Is it possible that some of those players were signed for (not by) Dean? Can’t believe he wanted Youmbi.
What makes you think that? The fact he barely played him, or something else?
Just asking a question, the game time he got was the reason.

I see Darlo & Chorley have signed strikers from NLP(E) and NPL so obviously some options there.
Even so we still need another keeper, a physical defender that can play right back, an energetic and creative wide midfielder and of course 2 proven regular goalscorers. Not much to ask.
Slightly over ambitious I think MK. We seem to have our 2 up front in place, I reckon the best we can hope for is 1 back up striker that might score occasionally.
Increased bench means a keeper required. We’ll probably have to sign one because who is going to loan us a player who has little to no chance of game time?

It was a constant effort not to switch the volume off when Dean was being interviewed.
It’s notable that Dean has had absolutely nothing to say since leaving Scunthorpe United – at the least you’d have thought he’d be offering a word to the fans.
Gagging order maybe?
Luke Willams, what a player he could have been without his fitness issues. Really felt for the lad.

Yes, fair enough, but has she any reason to post other than the truth. For the avoidance of any doubt, I’m not intending to be critical of the club, my intention was solely to express my disappointment at losing one of the best footballers we’ve had for some years. (IMO)

Seems we hit the post button seconds apart.
If I’d typed his name you’d have got there first!

How about a supporters Gofund for the wages of Butterfield to keep him at Scunny ?? We raised 70k last time
Sadly you’re missing a key fact – he doesn’t fit into Andy’s plans.

Me too. I thought that, out of the 4 remaining OTCs, he would be the most difficult to tie down. Good work.

That’s 00!!
Fantastic message from Jacob on SUFC X. What price/value do you put on a player that wants to play for you that much? Personally if he only played 45 minutes every week I’d still want to keep him. I’m sure agreement could be reached financially in a player/AM or player/coach role if we wanted a solution as much as he obviously does.
Good luck Jacob wherever you end up and thanks for everything.we’ve seen our big 3 move on
I think Ross Fitzsimons, Danny Whitehall & Cal Roberts might have something to say about that.

Yes Roberts and Law to cover RM as long as one is fit. Having both available at the same time would be a bonus.
Shrimpton signed for another year.

Could it be as simple as Ian taking the shares instead of his loan repayment?
