Would no Roberts & no Whitehall = no chance?
None, one or both could potentially be missing.
What’s happened to Whitehall?
its what happens at Scunny when theres a huge game and crowd..
Like the Chester league game? Or Chorley in the semi?
Public criticism/slating of players seldom has positive results in my experience.
I think if it’s as a collective it’s not potentially as bad, I mean the players can’t have had any complaints after their Southport performance.
…to publicly slate his own players afterwards which came hot on the heels of his similar take after the Southport defeat, well I think he has only himself to blame
In the report I read, I didn’t think there was actually anything wrong in what Brown said. Nor was he unreasonable in his appraisal of where the team messed up, and he wasn’t personal about any individual player or vindictive to any individual player.
I agree with this, his comments after the Southport game especially were spot on and even led me to begin to vaguely think about liking him for a millisecond. I think it’s a bad move from Kidderminster personally.
Interestingly, for those who like a flutter, bet365’s ‘Top 7 market’ has Gateshead at 6/4 but their match odds are 31/20 when it’s basically the same bet.
Tango Man getting sacked in the morning?
He’s supposed to be ‘managing’ a team in a charity match at South Shields tomorrow – he’ll have to drag himself up there.
Well well well.
Is this on the telly?
It appears it isn’t on any of the ‘DAZN Live Event’ channels for those of us with that means..
Which channel is this on?
I would want better odds than that.
A Southport stumble for Kidderminster is unlikely but possible. A Farsley stumble for Brackley is fantasy.
I agree, it’s not even worth a daft quid.
Iron are 100/1 on bet365.
At the end of the day we’ve drawn too many games
You say that, but I’d argue the last three away games (all 1-0 defeats) was where it was lost.
I’d rest all the starters next week, give them a week off ahead of the playoff semi final.
Credit where it’s due, the boys have been fantastic this afternoon. I know some will ask where this effort and endeavour was during the last three away games – BUT it’s a positive sign heading into the playoffs.
Plus, you never know, if Peterborough heads drop in the second half the Iron could look to take a big dent out of that goal difference deficit to Kiddy.
Whitehall starts!
The loss at Kidderminster was the turning point,
I disagree, it would’ve been in the bag if Iron had beaten Radcliffe.
Everything taken into account, we were worth a point.
Who should have challenged the guy with the oh-so easy header?Which wouldn’t have been enough anyway, so what does it matter?!
We wouldn’t have scored if we’d played non stop through to Easter Monday.
So if it only takes a second to score a goal, how many will it ACTUALLY take the Iron?
Yet in their last 16,200 seconds (not including stoppages) away from home the Iron haven’t managed a solitary goal.

Absolute aids.
Last 3 away games. ALL 1-0 defeats. Not a single goal scored in 270 minutes of football.
This team is done. Not a chance they win in the playoffs.

Scunthorpe are going to be in third place in about an hours time AND not even that far ahead of Chester to fall out of the home semi final slots.
They’re just trotting around as if it’s a f*kin friendly…pathetic!
Where’s the urgency? It’s as if they’re actively trying to lock up a playoff place.
Title’s gone. No way on earth Iron score two today.
Has Fadera got his boots on the wrong feet?
Seems a completely bizarre interview to put out if he’s not fit, although I did think some of the responses from him were talking along the lines of a playoff run. I wonder whether he’s the backup plan – win the league without him, or bring him back for the playoffs if the title charge falls short.
So is he fit for Friday or not?
One game at a time innit.
The whole Whitehall saga is so frustrating, because having him back for the final four games would be such a massive boost to the team both mentally and in terms of ability.

Butler has once again declared him as being 50/50. Regular readers will remember he made that claim prior to the Chester game – three weeks ago.
