What wound me up with their answers to the FC100k fiasco was the insistence on there being zero risk to the club. FC100k was literally announced with the tagline “WE’RE BUYING A FOOTBALL CLUB” with the goal to get 50% ownership plus 1 golden share in order to have a majority shareholding of the club. In what world is giving up overall control of the club to a bunch of charlatans zero risk? Or am I missing something here?

I like our strikers to score goals, and he’s hit 40 for us already in 78 games. Keep on doing what you’re doing Danny!

It’s nice having the option of 5 subs to call on, but it does seem like we just make them all for the sake of it half of the time.

Not just the competitive games this season either is it though, he was making these glaring mistakes in almost every game in pre-season too. His distribution is piss poor as well, gifted Sunderland’s first in mid week and a number of dead balls flying straight into touch in both league games so far. How long do we roll out the “he’s young, give the lad a chance” excuse? He’s a professional footballer and that sort of mistake made today is the sort you make as a youth and quickly learn from it. Thankfully we were 3-0 up after a relatively impressive performance, but we won’t be afforded that luxury all season and he’s going to cost us.

Great result, hope all those with the 3-1 predictions but some money on it.

Wonder if Campbell will get in the team of the week again after that absolute clanger.

Looks to be cutting up terribly already. Neal Bishop commenting how bad it is for this early in the season.

    Will it be streamed?

OWS suggests they will be looking to live stream it on YouTube.

Strange competition this, thought we were playing Sunderland U21’s…their scorer is a 25 year old Colombia international.

*I’ll bite my tongue for the mistake that led directly to the goal.

The new grub does look pretty decent. I reckon close to 1000 will be there tonight.

For anyone who wasn’t at the the game he flapped at a couple 1st half but went on to play OK.

I am delighted about that and hope he succeeds but he was a long way short of being the man of the match.

As for delivering the best goalkeeping performance in the league I’m not sure he had the best goalkeeping performance in the Tamworth game.

Careful MK, you’ll have Fansy back on here soon trying to argue with us who were actually at the game that this “flapping” you speak of was completely fabricated.

The lad made a decent enough save at the end but to get in the NL team of the week is pretty baffling.

If you go on the DAZN highlights themselves (on their app, not the club ones) it does at least show our excellent 2nd goal.

Was at the game and even though it wasn’t pretty, that was a great result. Two fantastic goals from us!

Got to say though that Campbell is an absolute liability. Flapped at everything that went near him in the air and should not have let that ball bounce on his 6 yard line for their goal. Decent enough save at the end but nothing that no other goalkeeper should be letting past them.

For their goal though…there is absolutely no way that the ball crossed the line, will be interesting to see a replay!

P.s. what a find Ewing may turn out to be, our best player by a mile.

Agree, coverage appalling and terrible commentary.
Regarding the price at £20 per month, potentially for 4/5 games is a bargain surely?

4/5 games a month with the 3pm blackout? Only reason it was available today was because of no Premier League games being on.

Not gonna happen Rene, teams will easily stroll through a midfield two of Ewing and Beestin.

Who’s the bigger clown, those who see a keeper that clearly isn’t up to scratch (yet) or the one who constantly sniped at Clunan and Whitehall during a promotion season of which they were both a massive part of?

Is a tad strange. Simmonds would be what, 7th choice striker if he signs?

Starting with 3 full backs today (unless Starbuck started in midfield). Seems certain that Campbell will be starting next week…it’s a sad state of affairs between the sticks when you’re actually rooting for Dracula Watson to win the no.1 shirt.

Great signing, thought he might end up back here on loan but to make this permanent with a 2 year deal is very nice to hear.

That’s 2 people in week that are withdrawing extra funding to the club that they would normally have given and that’s just from Bru posters.

Make that 3, also cancelled my monthly prize draw tenner. I’m a Trust member and would happily re-direct it there if this share scheme were ever to take off.

What am I believing that I shouldn’t be? If it’s anything to do with Maison Campbell then that is based on what my own two eyes have seen, both last season and this pre-season.

    He’s shite by the way.

This was a different game and a different situation I fail to see what the Spennymoor game has to do with today’s game at Derby, however I am open minded with no pre determined agenda so I will leave it there.

Sorry that you need simple things explaining to you but let me help you out.

Plymiron has clearly read the match report written by SUFC that has claimed Campbell had a good game. They also stated that Campbell “would produce a series of stunning reaction stops to deny both the original effort and the rebound that followed, unfortunately a ricochet would come off Madine and trickle into the net reducing the Iron’s advantage to three” in their Spennymoor match report. Anyone who has watched the highlights would know that this is is factually incorrect. Hence, don’t believe everything you read on the internet.

Not wise to believe everything you read in the SUFC match report. Read what was written regarding the Spennymoor goal in our own match report then go watch the match highlights!
