Good riddance, can’t get any worse. He was a big downgrade on Cox which just goes to show how massive a failure he’s been.
On paper this squad should be able to compete in the National League. 5 defeats on the bounce (and the manner in which we capitulated in them) warrants his sacking.
I don’t have any sympathy for the bloke after he completely downed tools last season and threw our youngsters under the bus.

He’s got to go. Useless clown!

Thomas has near vanished and rightly so.
Eh? He played 24 times for QPR last season and has made 2 appearances for them so far this season.
Mick, you’re naming the odd loanee that played for us up to 16 years ago. I’ll use the past 4 years’ intake as my realistic barometer for judging how well he’s likely to do.
Like mentioned above, how is signing unproven youngsters like this going to affect the morale of our own youngsters, who were completely and unnecessarily thrown under the bus by our idiot manager last season!?
I remember similar was said about Ryan Yates and Jack Cork in the past, it is all hit and miss, we even signed a striker on loan from Newcastle twice and some moaned, and look at him now, Ivan Toney, then there was Jermaine Beckford from Leeds, Carlisle fans were laughing saying he was crap,
Living in the past Mick, name me a real decent loanee in the past 4 seasons…

Hope he isn’t a bloody striker with a record of 2 goals in 17 apps for Chester in NLN last season!
With the predicament we’re in we should only be signing players who can go straight into the starting 11 and make us better. Otherwise it just seems like padding out the squad for the sake of it.

Can we really afford to sit idly by with the most incompetent manager in our history until Swanny finally decides to feck off??

Ha, don’t be silly!

Anyone else struggling to get the BBC Radio Humberside commentary via the BBC Sounds app or website? All I’m getting is some shitty “Squad Goals” coverage!
Was interesting listening to the Arsenal doctors on All or Nothing saying how a medical is less of a physical procedure and more a risk assessment. So how Hallam and Ntlhe faired in these risk assessments to then still be awarded contracts baffles me…unless they’re on pay-as-you-play deals but I highly doubt that’s the case.

I’m struggling to find the logic behind people still backing Hill to turn this around. What is this based on? Certainly not on his performance with us to date with his 3 wins in 37. People still mentioning Rochdale…let’s not forget they sacked him too.
Cox was arguably our worst ever manager, but Hill managed to take his team, bring in his own players in January and make it much worse. Then completely downed tools and threw our youngsters under the bus.
He’s now brought in even more of his own players and we currently sit in the relegation zone of the National League. But hey, sign two more players and everything will be alright!

This was a polished side and superior in quality to our team.
As were Woking and Maidenhead and pretty much every team last season. Where does it stop!?

Nothing will change until at least the owners sell up.
It’s Swann’s fault we can’t hold on to a 3-0 lead at home and crumble? Behave!

He can go for me. Absolute clown!

In the relegation spots now, we probably won’t get back out.
They’re going to tear us a new one.
At 5pm on Saturday.
Doesn’t matter what happens at 5pm on Saturday, sacking the Manager will not change a thing as sacking the other managers has proved. THE MANAGER IS NOT THE PROBLEM!!!
He’s not THE problem, but he’s definitely a big part of it…he’s worse than Cox ffs!
So Swann is the only reason why our supposed footballers haven’t been able to string two passes together and get ripped to shreds by two bottom half National League teams!?
Our defending is absolutely abysmal. The amount of times already this season that teams have been able to get in behind and flash balls across the 6 heard box unchallenged is shocking. Yeovil did it about 3 times too, they just thankfully had an immobile tree up front who couldn’t get on the end of them!

Shouldn’t have lasted past the end of last season after completely downing tools and throwing our youngsters under the bus.
What was the plan with that anyway? They’ve barely had a sniff so far this season…Moore-Billam sent out on loan, Young not played a minute, Shrimpton not played a minute, Cribb not played a minute, Gallimore played barely 10 minutes (and not forgetting Lobley being released after making his debut and being dragged off after 30 minutes)!
Not saying they’re good enough, but what was the point!?

We are very bad BLT but we did win one of the last 35. It was against Oldham so it only just counts.
Apologies, that should have been 1 away win in 36…either way it’s absolutely appalling!
“Players look like rabbits in the headlights, don’t look like they know what they’re doing.”
Comment courtesy of Nigel Adkins. 36 games and counting without an away win!
I’ve never understood the “O’Malley is good going forwards” comment. He’s got a great cross but when in possession with no space in front of him he always looks absolutely terrified and plays the ball backwards. I’ve never seen him take on a man or bomb forward on the overlap, something which Ogle has done multiple times already in an Iron shirt.
Daniel was playing right wing yesterday and was abysmal.
Agree with the above in that Taft is a complete liability, we definitely need another centre back.
Ogle was our best player, a proper full back who looks rapid going forwards and decent enough defensively. Complete contrast to O’Malley who can’t defend for toffee and looks terrified to go forward.
Nuttall played well, he needs support and I liked the way Carver baffled for everything when he came on. We should be playing 4-4-2 but if that becomes our preferred formation then we need wingers in the building pronto.
Shocking defending cost us yesterday but we could have quite easily come away with a point after the chances we had in the 2nd half. That wouldn’t have happened last season and we probably would have crumbled 5-0 so there’s at least that positive to take away from the game.

If it’s Rory then maybe that’s why he’s not in L1 or L2.
Or maybe it’s because he’s sh*t?

He’s definitely higher class player league 1 max
So where are the League 1 and 2 teams lining up for his signature??
if Nuttall scored a hattrick people will still criticise him
No, they wouldn’t.

3,131…surprised there were that many there, looked a bit sparse in the stands!
I’d probably downgrade Whitehouse to a 7 and Daniel / Nuttall to a 6.
I had no idea what position Daniel was supposed to be playing and Nuttall always looks like he’s trying to run in quick sand.
Good performance though, Butterfield looked quality. Real nice to have that winning feeling back on a Saturday evening!
