At least it expels the myth that he wasn’t allowed to play at an higher level because of his hooligan conviction.

Roberts at times playing like Butterfield at the end of last season starts at one corner of the box ending up having not moved forward an inch and doesn’t get a shot or decent pass away.
In his defense he’s always got 2 or 3 opposition players to beat, needs to get a shot or pass away much quicker. Class player and you always feel there’s a goal in him even when he has the occasional pure game.

We’re not a pub Rene they open 7 days a week 10+ hours a day, need heating at times ours won’t so much more profit to be made.
From what teams charge our fans for tinnies at matches never seen one below £4.50 it’s easy profit. Just the same that they could making if they opened up one or two in the ground at the moment.

    Off topic.

Farsley chairman walks away from club just had enough.

Looking ominous for our 3 pts and a +6 goal difference and mi train tickets for the game at Buxton easy come easy go. I guess.

Mainly bar takings in the beginning obviously a small entrance fee £10 ish and like I said start small and build up. Club can Ill afford to take many risks of which a stadium gig most of us to think is a no go.

Hope your being sarcastic there Deerey we were absolutely shite once Whitehall went off, but your not are you!

Who was it said they could coach something into Beck well I don’t know what they do all week cause he ain’t learning tell him to hold it up like Whitehall and not head everything all the time.

Got out of jail to be honest probably the best side I’ve seen us come up against their number7 gave Rose the run around worth taking a look for next season if he’d come.

Piss poor defending again for their goal mind.

Excellent point in the end that was no where deserved onwards and upwards.

    “Outside the box thinking”
Gated Bike nights or weekends both bars open, restaurant, camping on training pitch couple of Rock tribute bands, trade stands, food outlets, bike jumble. All without using the stadium at all.
Same with the Scooter’s sub Mod bands instead
Caravan club weekend (and before you laugh they had one at Brumby hall which was well attended).
    Start small and build up.

All good points. So you should now see the futility of the trust buying shares other than their giving money to the club.

Nice one ironking, and I know your not alone many have done the same.

Different take for me, you probably saw that i would have helped buy the ground but wouldn’t put any extra money into the club.
I’m sure we all love the club/team just the same.
At least you accept that your shares are worthless in monetary terms unlike Apollo who believes they are power.
Anyway like I say nice one and I understand your pride well done.

No i dont Deerey, don’t see any need to give any money to the club it’s a business not a charity, and within reason their getting the money anyway, giving away tickets to the needy is fair enough isn’t it and surely giving the kids parties and the like will pay the club dividends in the long run more than any share money would give.

The only thing I didn’t like before was em throwing it down your face at every turn and not being clear where the money was going, now it’s pretty clear and if they stick to what they say I certainly ain’t going to tell em what to do with the money especially when none of it will be mine.

What power did the trust have with all their shares when Hilton took over, absolutely none! Doubt they were even consulted.
And having spent thousands buying theirs Hilton swans in and buys the whole club for £3

    “Power to the people” Lol.

What’s the idea behind the trust buying more shares in the club than the ones they already own other than a piece of paper what do they get, are they after a place on the board?
Went down well last time we had a fan director who in the end was hounded out by fans themselves. Lol.
He was a member of the trust board has well so can we really trust the trust to act in the best interests of its members if that position was so easily let go.

I think you’ll find we’re second in the league Siderite, if it were just one poor and I won’t even say result more poor performance you’d have a point but it’s been so many, I believe the criticism of his style of play as being fair especially 5 at the back at home, and is arrogance especially after the Marine game is never going to endear him to fans.

And the rest of his signings Deerey especially the marquee one who Butler didn’t think good enough to make the bench today.

More than happy the loan players are doing well but even you must admit the rest of his signings ain’t cut the mustard up to now.
The sad thing is they are only here on loan.

Carlton not even made the bench today surely if anyone needs loaning out it’s him.
Desperately needs game time in him not just the cameo role we’re now giving him.

Saying just above minimum wage is quite specific.

Where’s this club policy come from? and why have they broke it with Banjo Beck for one.

Doubt whether Carlton or Beck and the rest were offered just over the minimum wage to sign and nor should have Butterfield been.

At this moment in time Carlton would only be offered a steward’s job and that’s only if there was a new place available.
