There were never any early bird tickets available. Looked on day one and zilch.
Heaven help the fans, the club are not just allowing it they promote it.
Catchphrase Snot, “say what you see” I see your not contradicting me.
Haven’t seen anywhere that Dave donated £250,000 towards the stadium, fair play Dave.
I was referring to when the stadium was actually bought with money from the government and other parties at the time, the club i believe put some in.Well after Michelle’s appearance on politics live it wouldn’t be worth asking her, she didn’t understand the questions, rabbit trapped in the headlights,.
Normally they keep the guest on to come back to but they let her go very quickly.
Comment about British steel and Scunthorpe united going out of business wtf.Not if a large donation (debt) went to buy a stadium it wouldn’t.
Bad debt could also be a purchase of something that can never be repaid.
Must be taking tips off scunny on how to promote something, only 7 acts listed on their web page.
Click for nightly lineup and nothing comes up.
That’s cos Peter never tried to be sustainable at all costs, and Dave was prepared to cut costs and staff but came up with a wall of resistance at every turn.
Not saying everything he wanted was right but some of it was or could have been. Not many others are commenting either but I’ll take grey.
No.
Rather see Hiltons extravagant spending on the team. (Would seem not bad in the end anyway seeing we only lost £250,000)
Now what is extravagant is employing a CEO, a Catering manager, stadium manager all tuther office staff, and a restaurant, all very well and good for a team in the EFL but national league north I don’t think so.
All beyond our control either direction.Did you expect to Sodiron? it’s being the model forever and a day.
Sustainability isn’t a reality in football.
What Deerey against my favorite ex employee Lol.
Just a thought, both the catering manager and the head of football operations were sacked during the reporting period.
Guess you’ll be posting the full accounts for us then Snot lol.
If Swann was here he’d be litigating to get the money.
Guess Michelle hasn’t got the balls.Thought all placentals produced eggs.
Wow really, that makes the Hilton Harness year a great achievement, £250,000 you say. What’s that then £21000 a month Mmmm remind me how much were losing at the moment £65,000 I believe Michelle said.
Snot anyone classed as a small company doesn’t have to do that, or have them audited, as Deerey highlighted.
Hope your right but I don’t think so.Pretty poor show from the club not recognizing the fact if they were donated.
Or maybe just maybe someone didn’t want to be recognized for a magnanimous donation.
Perhaps they fell off a back of a lorry
Or perhaps the Easter Bunny left them.
Maybe scunny bunny did the deed with scunny hunny and that’s where they came from.
Other than that Apollo I take it your disappointed with the club.Ps. Nice to see the council putting illuminations up down Frod road for Eid celebrations.
Certainly no smoking gun.
Net liabilities went up just shy of £500,000 under Hilton and Harness
Previous year under Swann and Hilton nigh on £700,000
Cant see where Hilton fleeced us.Well all I can see are micro accounts, is there a full account anywhere.
Maybe when the club is losing £65k a month the club shouldn’t be spending money on Easter eggs to hand out before Saturdays game.
Kinda makes the unity groups fundraising a tad not necessary. The unity group did say that they would spend money on parties, now they’ve made that perfectly clear it’s not up to non members to say where the money should be spent.
If you don’t like it just don’t contribute to their fundraising.Agree in the main but like everything else it should be the club running the show but at least the bike nights are.
All I know is when you type in Scunthorpe loss of £2 million it doesn’t bring Swann or Hiltons name to the fore, but Whartons does.
Deerey asked where running the club unsustainably gets you and I said the championship. No difference of opinion and not thinking irrationally just facts.Wharton and Swann pretty much the same debt in monetary terms allowing for inflation Wharton.
Hilton no where near he only owned the club.Take it you checked on Whartons losses.
Unity group
What funds? first.
Nobody would use the bogs in the Donny road to do lines it’s always soaking in there don’t you know.
Drinking beer though would go down well, club try flogging you everything else and yet can’t be arsed to sell Beer, wasted opportunity thought the club needed money just goes to show.
Evidently what we need is a cake stall! you couldn’t make it up.Your funds 64, so you joined the group then.
Your recollection is pretty shite then Ironawe, Wharton threatened to liquidate the club if no one come forward to buy the club.
Don’t you recall the £5.500.000 wage bill in 2010/11 season that would bring a loss of nigh on £2 million the next, or the £3.7 million wage bill the next season with revenue of only of £3.200.000.
Then he left the club with loans to repay, wasn’t the kids who left home it was daddy.Didn’t find it on club accounts they seem to be showing Chesterfields for that era God knows why, but a quick search elsewhere soon brings it up.
