Don’t you think at your age you can afford to take that chance. And just give a bit of thought to all the young ones going out of their way to help protect you and be a bit more grateful.

But I didn’t think you liked him signing players instead of the manager NI,sorry I must have got it wrong. At least he wasn’t involved in signing Rob Jones our record signing and one of our worst ever defenders, no that was saint Wharton and Adkins, every team signs there fair share of turds, and some turn into little jems. And you must admit (no that’s expecting to much) that Swannys one man committee signings are the backbone of our team.

Yet indoor sports venues in tier 1 and 2 can have up to 50% inside up to a limit of 1000, really strange how things work.

Anyone of the Rooney brothers other than Wayne would do. Maybe the lad from notts county could be player manager?

Won’t argue with that Sanfran and will be even better if we get something out of the game.

Come on do your homework we won 2 of them games. I wasn’t referring to him, the manager or Liverpools wisdom I would expect they could see past them goals and what a prospect he was, But some of the posters on here wouldn’t so a little honesty wouldn’t go amiss.

Because this IS the age of the football forum Deerey, I am not trying to excuse myself, we can all reflect and ask ourselves are we been fair, plus at the end of the day I hope most is banter and if it offends, people shouldn’t be on a forum like ours, I guess I must have touched a raw nerve with you,but if the cap fits wear it.

Covid has affected us because we have had players out with covid, whereas others have probably had it but just played on.

`Of course were in a downward spiral NI but that’s not exclusive to us it’s just what happens in football, surely we all understand that, Cox knew the tools he got to work with when he took the job on now it’s up to him to manage and get the best out of them, ya know go out and try to win games instead of worrying about the opposition. Does Swanny make mistakes, course he does, we can all highlight which we think they are,but at the end of it he as the best interests of scunny at the heart of it.

But who would have as sacked Lawsy when we were going nowhere WG,most were more than happy after the embarrassment of losing to the non league cods, and then go into win promotion, manager with new world record, league 2 manager of the year and Winnall with the golden boot, and then to realize the next year he wasn’t up to managing in league 1 and get rid Wilcox as well.Chairmen have to be involved in all aspects of running a club to think owt else is naive.

Nah Rob lost it for me when he told him it was is job to sort the pies and the chips out, I really don’t want the chairman to be doing that,I don’t want him to interfere with the footballing side up to a point, but he does need to remind the manager playing negative football could cost them there job even if they do get the results, after that leave it to the manager.

History is a study of past events. I’ve seen more poor times than good, but whow the good times outway the bad, and if next year we are non league then the 38 games won’t have been the most important in our history will they.

Worth £10,000 for a win,so after the £5,600 we got on Sunday the money will be a little help IF we win.

Surely if they were yes men we would have seen attacking football, only a fool would think Swanny tells the manager you must play boring football with one up front, but you must get results or I will sack you. No it is the managers ego’s they just think they know best.In Hurst we saw something different he was building from a low base and was just starting to get some were, hopefully as our better player’s return Cox will play a more expansive game.

Other teams are coping quite well with covid walter, like I’ve said if you don’t test you don’t have to cancel games, it’s not like it’s laying them low most players don’t even know they have the disease. But credit to Swann he is putting society first.

Wouldn’t want Pochettino just a nearly man, Bottled it when Leicester won the title, didn’t turn up in the European cup final. One of our ex manager’s record is better, he won things and knows the lower leagues, and just so happens to be available at the moment. But honestly let’s just give Cox a couple of seasons, and stop all this talk of another sacking.
