Maybe we could offer 4 and let him become player manager.
Would rather him have stayed, now they’ll probably get a good manager like Hurst. Maybe he should come here,he did get a lot of praise early doors on here from some. Fans would soon get over him been ex cod just like they did with Lawsy. lol.
Would liked to have kept Sutton here. But a define no to Novak.
Gillingham?
Perhaps you right Ironawe teams are dropping like flies. Millwall, Sunderland, Ipswich and Peterborough up to now.
Bloody hell Ched Evans must have done something really bad if Joey Barton got rid, only convicted of criminal violence twice and jailed once and 5 month footy ban for betting.
Of course Alcy Swanny nearly got us in the old first division twice, sorry for missing that out.
Worst chairman no Ironawe, David Wraith nearly bankrupted the club. Then Graham Pearson who pulled down a proper football ground and put us in field in the middle of nowhere with a shite ground. Out of the club’s history 3 out of the 6 positive sequences have been under Swann, the only chairman to offer subsidized travel to away matches Charlton and Chelsea, and free transport to Plymouth, also guarantees to run a bus to all our away matches no matter what the numbers, pleases most fans appointing a lot of ex scunny as managers, bloody good chap imo,is the football crap at the moment yes of course it is but I’ve been round long enough to know sooner or later it will get better with or without Swann.
When it comes to sport, authorities have no morals, all about this we must play on and not let events beat us, more like we must play on for the money and the glory, Munich 72, Heysel, Hillsborough, to name but three, and now we must play on through covid, and at what cost probably the players have been the biggest spreaders of late, and for what are we fans bothered about playing on no imo.
,Football are able to get round it conveniently elite sport classed as work, and remember Efl teams don’t have to test for covid. Also it gives the country that feel good factor lol.
Fans were mainly supportive of Kyle until his last game when he took a bit of abuse, Hurst didn’t help him he took him off and Kyle was forced to walk past the scunny fans in the away end, though I do believe anybody he took off would have got the same abuse that day. At the time kvv wasn’t getting a look in, if he”d done the same as kev and scored goals we wouldn’t have let him go.
So he didn’t say he”d on his way then I take it,maybe pushing for a better deal, would be nice to see us keep one of our better players. His a big enough player to be demanding a better squad before he signs?.
Took you a long time for you to understand how relegation works there alcy, it’s the same in all leagues the worst over a season get relegated, well figured out.
Whow very depressing there, little bit ott though from some,it’s us fans that are up for it, and we haven’t even cheered on half the team yet, other than telling the players it’s a local derby it would just seem like a normal game to them, we are playing in abnormal times and contrary to what NI says about other derbys this year the passion is just not there in them, just think if we had won the last 2 games against the worst 2 teams in the league ( and it wasn’t me who said they were)not let a last minute goal against Morecambe, put a proper formation out against Bolton we”d be in or very near the playoffs, everyone would agree that wouldn’t be right, but what we are is an inconsistent team some games good, some showing promise and some bloody awful dross, I’ve wrote this season off back in September and other than the buzz pre game today until I get back to watching next season I don’t really give a toss.
The last 2 managers who had embarrassing defeats against the cods lost their jobs.
Wrong thread there Ferrite
Why are the players not taking the knee today? But will certainly be cheering for the lads.
What a beautiful day to be going Grimsby, the buzz is still there, the dreams are still there, sadly we won’t be there.
Though I voted remain for much the same reasons as posters on here,we lost so let’s get over it, don’t go down the same road wishing it to go tits up like some do with the scunny footy.
Surely Mussa is doing all the right things, but when it comes to match time the goalies seem to ignore the coaching, and there’s not a lot that can be done about it we can hardly drop all the goalies, the one position where the players hold all the cards.
Thank for that NI,and on the Barrow thread I did apologize.
Yes Darryn I will do that for you on this thread, I respect you mainly keep to the football side of things and am sorry for intruding, I should have said the same to BS instead of reacting. There are plenty of other threads for us to talk bollocks.
Just like catch phrase Heath,I just say what I see.
If there’s an open goal would be shame not to take it NI, if only I had said what Bucks and you said about the knee been routine, I would have and most I believe would have supported a one off gesture, in the end things becomes pc and out of hand just like the me too movement, women coming out and saying they had been abused like a badge of honour to become part of the elite, or in crowd.
A lot of pubs in northern Ireland still sing the national anthem at closing time, can be a bit feisty depending on which side of the social divide your on,best just to stand up or leave before closing time.
As much has I liked wootton and wanted him to do well,he just couldn’t so he needed moving on, wish him well at notts and hope he scores against us next year in div2.
Your right BS about the knee, the sooner it is removed from the game the better.
In your opinion NI, I was glad that both for and against expressed their opinions. Can’t be anymore embarrassing than booing your own players on to the field. But then again some fans Deem it acceptable.
And to be fair we keep getting back to the football sooner or later Iron.
Sorry Xxx don’t have any family connections with America,TW thinks I am a cu.. though.
