Was only talking about the comparisons on Saturday it’s really the draws that kill you at either end of the table, we only scored points in 22 games last season , against Southend’s 25 games and Grimsby s 23 but we stayed up. I would have brought Rory up for the corner right at the death on Saturday just to try and get the win.

At Walsall it was Iron fans again who resolved it, the net was ripped up there as well, the reason at Walsall was Sunderland fans invaded the pitch in the previous game so they wanted to contain us in the corner,in the end the police had the head safety officer removed due to his attitude. Kvv mum was there that day she thought it was a hoot, though kev never got on the pitch that day, she asked for a photo with her and my grandkids as many were singing his name, happy days Ironawe, at the time we were on a decent run of form but we still got relegated.
Only 400 seemed to have joined the protest. Bet a few pissed off after missing the game.
Kenyon and Davies were in the stand with us today, nice touch by Hill to put them in with us, good PR, kids having photos with them and a chat with the fans, they sang along with the songs, all in all they seemed to have had a good time, Enjoyable game and still trying to win it in the last 15 minutes when we probably had our best spell impressed me, even if we go down at least we’re trying now and that will do for me, if we’re not good enough so be it.

No but it was me who tore the netting up on the left side of goal, women should be kept away from football the chief woman steward in the yellow coat was a complete C, worst stewarding for a long time, wouldn’t mind if there was an hooligan element to it but it was old men trying to sort it, they wanted to separate me and the grandkids because there weren’t 3 seats together on arriving at 10 to 3 wasn’t gonna happen hence net ripping, Seems like Hartlepool was on the rob like Mansfield has entrance on the day didn’t go down on the away attendance 228 Iron fans my arse well over 300 there.

Maybe third time lucky for you NI, hope for that hug tomorrow.
Article in the Guardian about the fall of Scunthorpe and LGE survival, touches on the local reporting.

With 27 games to go not a must win game, but psychologically a must not lose game, for me anyway.

I just find it really hard to believe any other club would have come in for him, not like he scored 20 in a season for us. If a bid did come in for him, and to me that’s a big if, he’s hardly done is chances of leaving any good up to now this season, having said all that I don’t believe he deserves all this wanting away, head in the championship business when Loft hasn’t even made a comment. As for Cox we all found out that you couldn’t believe what he said.
Yes you are wrong Ferrite.
Which club WG? And where was it said , announced, or published? Don’t think that’s to much to ask.
To be fair Alcy most forces are doing better of late , but like you say ours, south Yorkshire and Merseyside still leave alot to be desired, very few escort fans off trains nowadays.
No Mick go on the72.co.uk ( lge 2 link) In total the Bradford 6 are earning £13600 per week between them but they do have the crowds to pay that (I think). We never did.
Portsmouth in with a big shout for signing Wootton in January, out of contract next summer. Hope it goes well for the lad.

I see Gilliead and Eisa are on £3500 and £2500 respectfully at Bradford, very nice.
Certainly not as easy for first goalscorer with 6 in the squad, it was so so easy against Harrogate and Colchester.
Of course they would NI, but you know what yer mum always said, you can’t always have what you want, We’ve got a new manager who is at least trying to win and that’s enough for me, and for others swannys actions of late must be encouraging for them too.

Well done Swanny, paying dividends already bringing Simon back on board getting his company to provide 3 free bus for the fa youth cup game at Man utd, good on ya Simon, I am sure everybody can see a lot more positive attitude coming out of the club in recent months in more ways than one.

Said it before WG but I’ll say it again, get your arse down to training and ask Hill personally they normally come out between 10.30 and 10.45. What don’t you get about Hill not seeing Wilson play? Ps neither have I,unless you can enlighten us on the game he’s played in while Hill has been here. Or should the manager be reading Bru posts and be picking his team from there because obviously we know best.
Doubt Hill has even seen Wilson, can’t think I can remember the under 18s training with the first team but will have a look when I pick up my Hartlepool tickets. So unless there’s someone saying boss you really must look at this lad Wilson he probably won’t see him, never saw Cox at app frod watching the young uns.
Encouraging pre match interview today saying wherever you are in the league you must try for the 3 points, something that’s been missing while Cox was in charge.

Loft wants away eh that old chestnut, nobody to my knowledge has come up with anything to back up any stories about him, he was only brought in to be a makeshift to Kvv and what a good job he did last season his goals earning enough points to keep us up, unlike my hero kev who was missing in action last year, should we be talking of Loft as our main striker? Of course not but there should be a place for him in our squad, at the moment he is the best of a bad bunch.
I find it amazing that you suggest swanny should swallow his pride WG, your post suggests that the telegraph were at fault, couldn’t they just apologize? Maybe it could be the start of something though if swanny did swallow his pride, maybe Alcy, Brassy,BS, and others to numerous to mention could swallow theirs.
The Royals seem to be having a similar problem with the BBC.
Do you think Simon has enough influence to get Max bell sacked and get in a more objective reporter?.
Can’t believe he’s dropped hippo and hackney, along with manny they were the only ones who turned up at Mansfield.
Oh dear I do wish posters would do their research first, nice story at first glance but when you look deeper 1973 of those were from Port Vale, I must admit though it will look a real success after FGR have been there. 😂
Surely an apology would suffice in today’s climate, works well for cricketers.

Will I need a coat NI? Or as climate change improved things up there.
