Probably agree with you there Deerey I didn’t think ironic was the right word, Jems racially abusing players and separate changing rooms for whites and coloureds, being doing so since 2019 and yet the players can take the knee but not contact the police, what the hell is wrong with people, i guess there traumatized, maybe they’ll put a claim in against the club for not looking after them, Ps I thought the knee was supposed to say they’re not going to stand for racial abuse any more. Please explain someone.
Changing shirts is easy, changing badges a lot more controversial as Grimsby found out, changing the badge after all the little codlings had got a new shirt 7 days earlier for Xmas. Some on here said Grimsby would be model club to follow.
England’s number 1, to be honest he needs a fresh start and so do we.
Anyone going?
C.
Probably not that will be down to the young uns, even before Saturday I didn’t expect him to be here next year, if he’s got a longer contract ala Jarvis for me.
The threat was always going to be there so having police there was about right imo, without them I believe the game would have been abandoned, I never saw any over reaction from them they left the stewards to sort out the fans who invaded the pitch.

Hill and Swanny xxx, already agreed on youthful squad next season. What as changed I can’t see anything, like I said after the Sutton game we were told that’s what they were going for, and from all the youngsters coming in since it would seem there’s something in it.
The fans that were called a disgrace are the ones who get behind the team at the start of every game, they don’t single out certain players to attack before kick-off,unlike a lot of posters on here, they don’t let Swanny being chairman as an excuse not to go, if the team shows the desire they will get behind the team, if not or when playing shite they will let them know and I think that’s fair enough.

Another bit of history making today, and they deserved it over the 15 games and counting, good performance today though. 90 mins and never out of the game very pleasing.

And weren’t you expecting it BI? Didn’t here any racial abuse of Nuttall, what should they have done applaud him, without those so called morons the atmosphere would be dead.

And people question my thoughts!.
Good luck to the lad, but never showed anything while he was with us,there would have been uproar if we kept him on.

I prefer the term split arse or cnut rather than twat and if I’m being really nice fanny.
You said the club had to be part of the community Pat and I have listed where they have been, the list of the players who did the last hospital visit are on the official club web page click on news and then select community and all will be revealed, the last open day was June 2019 let me think why there hasn’t been one since you don’t think it was that little thing called COVID do you Pat? You are Avery lazy poster Pat do your research first it’s not hard. Could you also list which were nothing to do with the club (remember Pat do your research first)
Add to that list a Fans forum on the 5th of May, everyone with anything to say can attend as Swanny won’t be there.
Pat there’s been an open air cinema, circus, park and ride for NHS workers, limitless Lego, walking football, visits to schools and hospital at xmas, footy course’s every school holiday, the stadium is used most days for educational purposes, look up Study United or Scunthorpe United community sports and educational trust, and see the work they do for the community, even this coming Saturday there’s a remembrance for fans and players who have past away this last year, which as been well received by Hartlepool fans saying what a nice touch and hope their club take it on board. And all probably with no involvement from Swanny so let’s not deride all the things we do get right just to beat Swanny over the head.
Sorry to disappoint but if you look Pat the club do all them things now,
Be nice to know Simon’s feelings now on leaving, and would he have stayed if he knew there would be a fan director on board and Lee there as well.
Depends what you call little, agree all clubs should try to live within their means but in reality not many can or do, Bristol city a bigger club than us but not that big a club losing £412,000 per week but all ok at the moment with their billionaire owner, all in the intention of just getting into that cash cow of the premiership, enabled by footy fans up and down the country paying for sky and BT.
Yep bang on Deerey you frequently mocked and scorned our attempt at Harrogate to protest. You are part of the problem. The majority of Oldham fans weren’t on the pitch on Saturday but that’s the kind of thing that gets noticed, not the singing of songs which appears that as mainly happened from our fans, needs someone to think out of the box again like the gate locking episode, probably done by one person but certainly got the attention it deserved.
It’s all right saying fair play to them frc where’s our trust been and where’s the ambition for them to takeover the club.
Not very well I would imagine and with Swann saying he doesn’t or can’t put any more money in,administration could be forthcoming.
Just wish it had happened last season instead of wasting this season altogether.
Yes NI anyone going next week needs to bare in mind similar things might happen and anything is on the cards. Security yesterday was very tight yesterday a full frisk for everyone, at the age of 66 never thought I’d be searched like that again, but to be fair they did it to everyone we saw going in and was done in light-hearted manner, well at least for us don’t know about the iron youth who were chaperoned all day and a police escort on all the trains back to Scunny.
It wasn’t a great performance BS but the difference between last week and this was massive, they could quite easily collapsed and got a record defeat but they didn’t so all credit to them, “small steps”. I do hope next week they set a new sequence record of games since a win, Swann, Hill and the team certainly deserve it.
