We’re talking scunny here bottom of the NL, more a buyers market than a seller’s, we all know he’s lucky to have any credible bid on the table at all,(taking it for granted it is).

Not if you’ve wrote this season off CB, build from the back for next season, Foster should play in every game now, he’s highly rated his time is now and for next season, there that’s 1 on the team sheet wk in wk out, like to think that Wilson Shrimpton and hopefully Lewis will be in heart of the squad as well.

Nice to see Foster and Shrimpton in the side, guess the admirals throwing the dice hoping to keep the job. Hope it works today for them.

In all honesty it’s probably the best option let’s have some closure.

Agreed but it does seem Simon isn’t very forthcoming with info were probably gonna be in the same boat as we were(are) with Swanny he wouldn’t tell us why he quit as director when he did. Just not convinced at the moment.

Wouldn’t it be nice to have a statement from the prospective new owners? When you go to buy something Deerey you buy what’s on show at that moment in time, not when the owner takes the extras off.

What about a statement from the prospective new owners, they need to answer a lot already.

Well we should know today whether Swann pocketed the transfer money, surely Ian and Simon will walk if he did, seen as they paid the wages last month, if they didn’t they wouldn’t have any respect from the fans, I take it they were fully behind the sale of Nuttall I can see nothing else that shows otherwise. Unless!

It hasn’t but Ian and Simon did pay the wages last month guess they’ve got their money back now at the expense of Nuttall. Or maybe they’ll walk away now it’s not the club they thought they were buying minus the top goal scorer. Do you think Turnbull is trying to scupper the deal acting without consulting them, if I were up with buying the club I wouldn’t want the top goal scorer selling off.

Not what I wanted from the new owners, maybe the old chestnut “His contract was up in the summer better to get abit of money now than nothing later”

Any idea why our leading goal scorer left us when he wasn’t interested in joining Oldham before?

    1) It really is nothing to do with us. 2) ground far to big for us and probably wouldn’t happen in my lifetime anyway. 3) So long as Ernest

    1) I will never have a say in what goes there in the future the land is not mine.2) Can’t see any development in the ground in my lifetime read the book seen the film so don’t care.3) Ernest, Ernest who!?

What does it matter to the likes of us whether the surrounding land is included, they’ve got the ground don’t give 2 hoots about the club at the moment other than the name nothing worth purchasing that I can see.

Still think we should be blooding Foster in, highly rated yet deemed not good enough for us.

It is nice though to have examples though rather than your platitudes Deerey, any reasonable person would accept examples. Don’t forget I was questioned on where the info came and was happy to oblige Especially when one said I’d got it off back of a penguin bar wrapper.

Being around since the early seventies, Wharton did the bizz I know I was there. Not knocking him just letting it be known financially for the club he was just as bad as Swann. It’s all there to see in the accounts. I hope the new owners will be just as reckless as well I don’t want bargain bucket player’s anymore, not going to be my money they spend and probably not theirs for that matter, it’ll just be club debt at the end.

I would say that England is most fans second or 3rd team, and we have the luxury of wanting a style of play we want the team to play and if it doesn’t come off so long as they gave it a go all well and good, obviously at club level things are different sometimes winning is everything we all know that over the last 3 seasons, but with the national side being outplayed by the USA and Senegal for 38mins when there was no need for it, it won’t ever endear me to Southgate, unlesss of course if he goes on to win it playing that way at times then he can have the keys to the Kingdom.

P.P got them from theirontrust.com, reaction to st Wharton on the 29th of October 2012. Found it by typing Steve Wharton to liquidate Scunthorpe into Google then it’s the 7th item down. Ps Ironawe I do normally back it up do you? LoL.

St Wharton left us with debts of 30’000 a week let’s go back to that structure? Also left the club with a loan to be repaid over 20yrs.
