Jimbob can do what the hell he wants for the rest of this season it was over before he stepped in the door, it doesn’t matter some games we’ll enjoy some we won’t, the expectations once the club was sold that everything would be hunky dory on the pitch was beyond me football’s not that simple, it will take time, but we’ve got that time now for him to get it set for next season, said before all games a pre season game without the friendly bit to it. Now next season Jimbob even for me as to have a team challenging at the top with a minimum achievement of the playoffs, I will judge him on that.

The only good thing about today is Oldham won’t be joining us in Nln next season.

Normally I’m quite harsh on the trust but a nice quick response from them well done, they’ve got quite a few of their questions answered already hope they can get the rest answered.

A lot of questions answered on the offer pretty simple like I said a gift for the town, only one I want answering now is an explanation on unsold shares, (who owns them, and I take it the monthly monetary prize will be pro rata to amount sold) anyway no rush Im sure it will take years to sell them all so all.

I shan’t be parting with 1889 pounds tad to dear, once things sorted maybe try for half or quarter share, most men will find it hard to convince their wives to let themselves hand over that kind of money with no return on it, will have that conversation when needed, bit of emotional blackmail about the grandkids and future greatgrand kids hopefully will do the trick.

MK didn’t you read the bit about being in the monthly draw for as long as the 999 lease, that says to me your share is transferable.

Obviously more detail needs to come out to answer all concerns, I’m sure everything will be quite simple and it needs to be, imo pause the roll out until everything is in the public domain maybe start it end of July, the one thing I am sure about it’s not an investment, more of a gift to the people of Scunthorpe.

You can only pass the share down for 999 years I’m afraid.

Time for innovative ideas so everyone can get involved who can’t buy a share for themselves, friend groups, pubs, clubs, maybe the trust to buy as many as possible through a fund so long as people know they are part of it what a legacy to leave for the town, hope the council buy a share.

Pat mentioned joke, good one on scunny Facebook, Grimsby school teacher asks her class Which football team do you support, hands up if it’s Grimsby town, the whole class except for one boy puts their hands up, who do you support John, the mighty iron miss, why them, well me mum and dad are from scunny and I will do the same, well you don’t have to copy them. What if your mum was a prostitute and your dad a junkie and were brother and sister, well miss I’d do the same as you and support Grimsby town.

The problem is you can’t say boo to a goose nowadays without someone being offended, (sure somebody will be a long to defend the goose in a moment) Just look today and what they’ve done with the Roald Dayl books is that really where we want to go, all this fuss over me saying she might be menstruating as if it doesn’t affect women in any way lol.

If they could only except the rough and tumble of the match day experience I’d be ok with that, but they tend to moan at the swearing or the lads stood up instead of sitting.

Most of the time it’s an all men’s club many don’t even take their kids to games they just want a day out with their mates and there’s nothing wrong in that either.

Remember Ogle was classed as a poor signing by many but it’s the same old some players just do well at different times or improve.

I’m not downplaying the role of women WG I just don’t think it’s in the men’s game, Mrs A gets its a day for the boys and wouldn’t want to intrude. Are their exceptions course there are but in general no and I’m sure we can all see it for ourselves at every game.

New lads all buzzing and we’ll up for it, goalie even milking the crowd during warm up then when they came on and at the end, looks like we have players who want to play for us instead of just taking the money, long may it continue.

Not complaining Deerey just commenting on some one high up in the game and what she thinks. Which bits of her comments do you agree with? Or aren’t you allowed an opinion, if so just ask for Angela in your next post, evidently it’s gender neutral.

True NI but if they spouted about having a closed league they wouldn’t be in a job for long.

East stand first cantilever stand in the world, can’t understand why it didn’t have listed status, made locally as well.
