Not his words Deerey his deeds, was you sleeping through the whole of the 1899 scheme? Out of everyone I’ve never took words as gospel from any chairman or owner where as many on here probably including you took every word as a promise.
I don’t think anyone should be happy till we’ve driven him and Turnbull from the club and not forgetting Sharp either.
Hilton couldn’t have made it any clearer he didn’t want the ground, Who is “He” when all said and done to,saying Hilton wanted the property does anyone honestly believe that. The money probably went with the season ticket money to cushion the blow from the money that was spent in January till last month,or maybe the club was cash rich when he turned up and we never had a big tax bill and other debts that Swann had supposedly left, and maybe the tooth fairy’s and Santa are true, sorry we had to inform our 10yr old iron youth last month they weren’t a sad moment in ones life.
From what I have seen on your posts can I take it he’s not the man you thought he was and the man you told me was when I criticized him.
Wish I was there today enjoy everyone. Uti
Only interested in the property?,A funny way of going about it WG, trying to get the fans to buy it through the 1899 scheme (which the fans still need to do) and then what?
Bit of a random thread confucius.

October 6, 2023 at 8:22 pm in reply to: This saga is unending but I hope it resolves like this #274868“Gazumped” now that’s a downright lie. Link in Iron Bru news archive, they withdrew from buying the club on the 19th January way before we’d even heard the name David Hilton.
October 6, 2023 at 7:58 pm in reply to: This saga is unending but I hope it resolves like this #274864Of course he wasn’t a savior he crumbled far to easily, told me he could take the rough and tumble but obviously he couldn’t. What where is true colours Cass.
October 6, 2023 at 7:39 pm in reply to: This saga is unending but I hope it resolves like this #274860The link is the tuther side, plenty on here saw it and I do believe St Simon said in an interview, shouldn’t be to hard to find for someone like you you’ve found plenty enough before.
October 6, 2023 at 4:50 pm in reply to: This saga is unending but I hope it resolves like this #274843And wasn’t Hilton trying to save the club, didn’t stop everyone arse kicking him. And you should know I’m fully behind the chairman like I have every other one while money’s being spent. Not many can say that.

No the posts where very clear Deerey, 5 days for the trust to register an interest in the 1st what’s no clear about that, the second an answer to ironfan saying it stops swanny selling for 6 months.
October 6, 2023 at 4:00 pm in reply to: This saga is unending but I hope it resolves like this #274835Sorry I can only go on what St Simon printed on the tuther side, like I say if he was lying he owes an apology to everyone and especially to Sharp maybe fisty cuffs in the boardroom, if like siderite and others are claiming it was a loan it wouldn’t be a good start for him on the board to ask for it back but then again a bit 2 faced as he asked Hilton for it back. I’ll leave you to to decide loan or gift either way apologies needed all round.

They do know it was in the IT newsletter that NI kindly shared as did someone else on tuther side, Are you referring to Michelle Deerey? Having informed the council of is intention to sell, it must be offered to “Community interest groups” Ironii unless you can think of anyone else Iron Trust is the only one I can think of don’t think Bru would fit the criteria. Probably Swann would be allowed to change his mind and inform the council he’s not offering it up as a community asset anymore so he could then sell to Michelle. You got the wrong end off the stick again Deerey it wasn’t about Swann wanting to sell to any Tom dick or harry just about the trust holding him up from selling for 6 months and him having to fork out for rates, added security that would be needed electric and so on money he wouldn’t want to spend but would have to.
October 6, 2023 at 12:05 pm in reply to: This saga is unending but I hope it resolves like this #274822If only Cass if only. Did we not need Unity when Hilton took over,he was given about the same time period when it started after him getting rid of Nelson. As the saying What goes around comes around.
October 6, 2023 at 11:57 am in reply to: This saga is unending but I hope it resolves like this #274821Did he not give the money well before Hilton came along? And from your prospective St Simon should offer another apology for saying the money wasn’t a donation like he did , aargh yet more humble pie to be eaten.
October 6, 2023 at 11:42 am in reply to: This saga is unending but I hope it resolves like this #274817Will Ian not so Sharp still be sueing the club now he’s a director, and if as I hope he isn’t will he issue an apology for doing so in the first place. Lots of humble pie to be eaten St Simon and Ian and of course all those who thought the sun shone out their bums.
You don’t need any money for the letter of intent to, it then stops Swanny selling the ground for 6 months, plenty of time to raise capital or not as the case may be but if only to give Swanny the hassle it’s got to be good and he’ll still be paying out all the time.
5 days left now less if you allow for postage for the trust to register their interest in purchasing the ground to the council, unless of course they’ve already done so.
Well thanks for explaining that NI I would never have guessed that’s what you meant, really NI.
Tell NI he was the one who said about Swanny would rather play with Michelle, if someone leaves the door ajar I and many others will drive a bus through it.
What’s this Iron trust what do they do? Are they like the masons.
Most said they weren’t going to give Swanny a penny more let alone buy or rent the ground from him up to now jobs being a good un Hilton paying pennies, what is the mood now.
What’s so hard in carrying on the free season ticket for life, at the end of the day there was a maximum of 100.

Where is everyone’s sense of humour nowadays, crass, sexist, sick a joke is a joke, why should anyone change with the jokes we were brought up on, an English man a Scotsman and the Irish man, Bernard Manning and everyone and anybody else, Roy Chubby Brown played to a packed baths hall last month, humour helps us along on our journey long may it continue.
No to be honest I can’t remember it. But well done all the same.

Sorry Gtfcfan just a bit of fun from me. Ps dad was a cod but unlike me he didn’t force his club on me, we did do the decent thing though and scattered some of his ashes on the ashes round your ground, hope you never move proper ground yours.
You hurt me so much, Ps it was NI who promoted the good old days not me, I just walked through the open door.
