That’s funny Alcy because up until the 55th minute in that said York game we were champions as it stands in play, nowt to play for, more like nowt between your lug holes Alcy, why has that season caused a memory block on some fans?.

    Nope.
Chesterfield already had 81 points going into that game, and a far better gd
we were always going to miss out as champions.

he still cost us winning the league with sitting deep late on, 10 games we dropped points after the 90 minute board went up.

    And other clubs knew it😠
That final game against York, with both clubs having nowt to play for, and standing at 2-2.
And yet, in the last ten minutes even their goalie came up for corners because they knew we were likely to concede, and THEY WANTED A WIN.
    We were just not bothered

THAT’S what’s been bothering me…now I know what Swann is doing.
“Just watch this coin/card etc in my right hand. Pay no attention to what I’m doing with my left.”

    I don’t like it…not a lot at all.😠

I would actually have given it a try but on match day mornings in winter I plan to be in rather sunnier climes.
(Degenerative arthritis of the spine is not quite as much fun as it sounds and my back really does not need a cold climate.)
How’s your back these days, Alcy?

As always, bloody painful, slowly losing the use of my left arm due to nerve damage, recurrent sciatica in my right leg.
Doesn’t bode well for me as a 24/7 carer as I get older.😥😥
And, of course, I must continually thank the most caring Liebour party for removing the only painkillers that helped me😠

For me, England disappointed last night

If we really need an oggy and a disputed missed penalty to beat Denmark, I forsee a stuffing by Italy.

I don’t be think I’ve ever seen a man go down as easily as Kane, not since Klinsmann….same club.

And Sterling? Can’t beat a man, shoots straight at the keeper, greedy.

One MIGHT jump to the conclusion that his worshipping by NI is a bit of racism?😉

Believe it or not, I think as many people as possible dhould buy season tickets😲

Otherwise, next season when there’s no money, no decent players, no exciting football, and above all, no success, guess whose fault it will all be?

Hint: their will be NO mention of anyone from the Swann family😠

Heath, Deerey etc, what of the players still making the “black power”salute?
    Do you support that too?

And Heath, please, please learn what “bigot” means.
It’s NOT THE SAME as racist.

    One certainly is.

    How do you know?

    We haven’t heard a dicky-bird for months!

Oh dear NI, I knew you liberals weren’t quick on the uptake but….

Not a dicky bird, a very big one.

Sterling scored, yes, but for 90% of the game his first touch was woeful.
    Kane much the same.
At least Sakha will try and beat a man.
So Vanilla Southgate takes him off.

And I was under the impression this Leeds lad, Phillips?, was our main playmaker?
    Was he playing?

…..I would think that supporters would need a bit of Swanns usual bullshit, like we have been fed over the past 7 years, and we have all taken it in until this season!!!!!!!!!!

    Errrr…no.
Some of us saw through him years ago, and were roundly abused by those who thought they knew better.

We were promised the squad would be in place by the end of May?

    Maybe it was.
    Maybe this is it?

Why would he come to a club run like ours is, with a reputation for negative dour football?

    Look at it like this:
He’s presently playing for a non league club who did well enough last season.
He can stay for more of the same, or move to a club playing negative football and who are favoutites for the drop next season.
    No brainer

Nearly as bad as Dougie and Dinsdale Piranha.

UK lager tends to be very disappointing.
Years ago I developed a taste for bottled 1664 in France.
    Was 5.9%.

When we got home my wife found some in Tesco, bought it me.
I treated myself to one that night.
Thin and acidic, turned out to be 4.6%.

Burny he is the first part of the jigsaw

I just hope we aren’t relying on Hallam for the midfield creative spark when there’s a big chance he’ll be injured for most of it.

If we sign a more creative midfielder, fair enough. Reduced budget though and we already have Hallam, spence, Beestin and Kenyon soon.

Will we even go out for another CM player ?

A cheap loan for the season at a push but I can’t see another permanent one coming in.

Sorry council man. From the gob on you I thought you must work for our useless lot.
You obviously eork for ANOTHER useless bunch😅😄🙂

I wish someone would promote fizzy pop in the UK.
I was under the impression that the sugar tax meant we’d have the choice whether to pay more for drinks containing sugar.
Instead, the supermarkets have made the decision for us: you try and buy pop without aspartame, sucralose etc.

Both of which have been seriously linked to cancer.

    Sigh.
Can’t resist, can you council man?
Meanwhile, your lot have ONCE AGAIN allowed the travellers onto Donny Road field, and ONCE AGAIN, failed to get them moved in a week so far.

I’m a Cognac, Armagnac and especially Calvados man.

Some of the medium priced French supermarket Cognacs and Calvados are outstanding.
