Is that Fansy or Pansy?
“It’s important that everyone understands the situation – I don’t want anything from the ground, I don’t want to sell it, I just want it for the football club.”
Aye.
Right. How did that work for Scunny?
I’m up for that.

Deerey, the guy has seen the light.
It’s taken a looong time, but he has.
Cut him a bit of slack, eh?If I never forgave anyone on here for stuff said to, and about, me, I’d just have to walk away.
We all make mistakes, even me🙂

October 9, 2021 at 9:06 am in reply to: Harrogate away, time to show our fury as supporters? #215119It’s not their fault they don’t pay the mortgage/bills. They don’t have enough income to cover them.
Maybe they’ll just have to rack up a lot of credit card debt until a buyer is found.
They won’t “find” a buyer unless THEY ADVERTISE IT AS FOR SALE.
Stop being stupidOctober 9, 2021 at 9:04 am in reply to: Harrogate away, time to show our fury as supporters? #215118What if the person in the house decides not to pay the bills while a buyer is found and that takes longer than expected?
It will take longer than he “expects” if HE DOESN’T ADVERTISE IT AS FOR SALE.
And if he doesn’t pay his bills there’s always bailifs.I can believe it was your fault Alcy.
We got told it was our fault so often we almost believed it.
We either hadn’t done as he wanted, or we had, but not enough/too much/wrong
I don’t look forward to any of it now.

Yeah Swann put the club up for sale, don’t cover any losses because fans are fickle as…. and don’t bother trying to bring any players in in January to help our cause.
If this goes on for a few years while a suitable buyer is found so be it.
Sounds brilliant doesn’t it.
What a wnaker you are.
Back to whining no-one will come, who will buy us?Same as last time…and then there were two.

October 8, 2021 at 4:14 pm in reply to: Harrogate away, time to show our fury as supporters? #215066That doesn’t answer the question.
Give me a who?How would anyone know?
There don’t seem to be many people trying to buy clubs that AREN’T FOR SALE.
But if it was put up for sale….1 user thanked author for this post.

Who are you wanting Swann to sell the club to?
Two very important questions that you people seem to ignore greatly!!
Swann to sell up and go…as far away as possible.
Anyone with dosh and PROPER business acumen.
Unless, of course, you are on the usual tack of whining, “But who will come, no-one might come…”
😄😄To me, he’s in a position of leadership with no leadership skills.
I’ve worked for a couple of bosses like that.
The second one drove the business bust, it no longer exists.
But it was never his fault, always ours.1 user thanked author for this post.
lol at both.
I wonder how many younger supporters would know the tune to Swanee?
Al Jolson, was it?Never having been a shareholder, i can see both sides of this.
Shareholders have certainly been treated abysmally, (haven’t we all?), so why would they turn up to another meeting for some more of the same? And yet…
And yet, its a nailed on certainty that, if they don’t, the Prawn WILL say something along these lines: “I tried to reach out to shareholders, but they showed no interest… it’s their fault”.

October 7, 2021 at 9:20 am in reply to: Harrogate away, time to show our fury as supporters? #214974The players are only doing what they are instructed to do !
Certainly during a game I would never boo or join in a vocal demonstration. The time for that is the end but the main architect will be away from the frontline.
But according to Cox, they aren’t.
Our problem now is three fold: Directors, management and some of the team.
Start with the directors since they seem to be a common factor in the club’s demise.
Two blokes fishing at Keadby canal.
One says, “So Scunny got beat again then?”
The other responds, “How do you know that, we haven’t brought our phones?”The first says, “It’s five o’clock isn’t it?”
Sad, but true.

We conceded 2 late goals again, which says to me that the players are mentally and physically unfit.
Well that must apply to several different groups of players over the last five seasons then?
There’s always one, isn’t there?

October 5, 2021 at 9:07 am in reply to: Harrogate away, time to show our fury as supporters? #214827Swann, Swann,
Get y’self gone!There’s the chant.
Wondergoals said: ” I don’t believe he’ll put this club up for sale either for the good of the club, he’ll dig his heels in now, no matter what comes his way.
This guy….words fail me”.
They don’t fail me.
The words cnut, dishonesty and disgusting immediately spring to mind.Who will have access to this questionnaire?
Where will it be accessible?Question 1:
What has brought the club to it’s present level?
A. Covid
B. The supporters
C. North Lincolnshire Council
D. Lucent
E. CovidEtc
Guy’s a cnut.
Said it before, I’ll keep saying it.
Get gone you utter contemptible cnut.1 user thanked author for this post.
If Swann doesn’t sack him now, he must be satisfied with the position we now hold.
Why?
Does he want us to lose our league status?
…if we did pull the trigger on Cox – who would want to come here and who could we actually afford?
And whose fault is that?
I see we have Loft, Bunn and Davis back but Kenyon has yet another tear to one of this thighs so he now has to get a few injections and have some more time out.
Why do we always sign experienced players to offer leadership and they end up being crocks?
Because no-one else will come now?
And no-one else wants them?I’ve over laboured it, I admit.
But it was an enlightening for me.
Previous to that, like many, I had every confidence in Swann, but his removal of the oap concession**, closely followed by the failure of either him or Rodwell to reply to my letters, soured me towards him.
Later on he claimed that he/the club responded to all letters, a blatant untruth, which further lowered my opinion of him.
And once your opinion of someone becomes negative, you start to see other negatives about them too.** Pedants: I know the oap concession still exists. Swann and Rodwell moved it from 60 to 65.
Neither hurt, nor spurned, thanks.
But if you are running a business you answer letters, texts and emails.
If you don’t, eventually your business will hit the rocks…and guess what?
