The reality is the fee received will pay December’s wages.

Simon has never said that they had agreed a price for the club, stadium and land, but in his initial interview with Andy Comfort he didn’t correct Andy when he suggested the land was included. I think this has caused some confusion.
I also noticed when listening back to the interview with Sharp/Elliott before the Notts County game, Sharp made it clear that they have agreed a price for the stadium, but didn’t go as far as saying they had agreed a price for the club. I guess they will negotiate a price for the club dependent on the findings of the due diligence.
Re: the land, I know they have been looking into possibility of purchasing it with the help of other investors but not sure where they are with it.
I reckon there’s a long way to go yet…

It is true. Employees informed over email.
Whether they are paid tomorrow remains to be seen. If not, I think it throws the game on Saturday into serious doubt and could possibly end in a points deduction for failing to fulfil fixtures. What a mess.1 user thanked author for this post.
Almost certainly.
The London group are now in a 28 day exclusivity period to try and get a deal over the line.
Unsure when it ends but presumably it is before the end of the month.
I understand they were involved in a lower league club in Belgium for a short stint…1 user thanked author for this post.
Ian Sharp is in the local consortium with Simon.
At least one member of the ‘London consortium’ is a property developer. Have got a name but can’t find any info on him.3 users thanked author for this post.
Was there that afternoon. The MK Dons’ owner Pete Winkleman was hopping around the piss soaked toilets of the club bar, trying to wash a dog shit off his shoe in the sink. Hilarious.

Also what young players has he brought through the youth team during the last ten years or so who have been good enough to make it
I text in to the radio to suggest that his record has been really poor. I didn’t hear Matt Dean’s response, but apparently he said I was being harsh! I stand by what I said. You could count them on one hand.

Tony Daws said we should have won 4-0.
Wages had gone in and cleared by lunchtime, but staff on social suggesting they are usually in bank accounts at midnight.

I understand players and staff have not been paid this morning. That is not to say they will not be paid by the end of the day.

Understand they are very low on stock of shirts and struggling to get any more into the building. No idea if the above is true, but would certainly explain why there are no kits available to order online!

Official line from Swann is that we are closer than ever, but nothing concrete yet.
Two parties still negotiating.
I understand one is the local consortium and the other is the party who passed the fit and proper test some time ago. I also believe the local consortium are only interested in securing the club + GP, whilst the second party want the whole site including the land for the flats/apartments so not straight forward.3 users thanked author for this post.
Facebook also reckons the reason we won last night is that the players were told Swann was leaving at half time!
For what it’s worth I understand there are still two parties involved. Simon’s consortium have put three bids in so far, but I understand they are only interested in securing the club and stadium.

Daws, with a former Iron defender as assistant.
We are heading here; https://www.offthetapbar.co.uk/
Still aiming for another four before the end of the month. I reckon we might have to settle for a couple though…

The leaderboard has been updated. If you can’t see your name and have paid, it should appear once you log your first predictions… if not give me a shout.
The scoring is as follows…
10pts correct result, correct scoreline
5pts correct result, wrong scorelineThere are two bonus points available per game for team goals scored. For example, predict 3-0 and the result is 3-1 would yield 1 extra point. Bonus points are cumulative.

Donny.
we do get a sell on I have asked Lee Turnbull
It can’t be true Mick! Some bloke on Facebook says he has seen the deal sheet and it says that we don’t get a penny…

Has Watson managed to get fixed up yet? We were told there would be loads of clubs queueing for his signature by some on here!

If you would prefer to do BACS I can accommodate.
Predictions can now found on the site menu. Let me know if you can’t find them.
Thank you
First three rounds of fixtures are now live

From memory didn’t Jacob escape a red at GP when with Barnsley with an horrendous tackle near the tunnel ?
Two footed shocker. Remember it well.

Neil kindly agreed to the chat for Chris Walkers’ Friends of Pakati event as we were struggling to arrange a guest. I think he is still getting paid by the club, so the only way we could make it work is if we agreed not to talk about his time as manager. It’s certainly not ideal, but I reckon it’s pretty standard practise. That said, I really do think it is a possiblity we may hear his side of the story in the fullness of time…

I just can’t believe that Beestin is on that kind of money. I’ll wager that he has negotiated a very substantial pay cut.
I asked Swann about this article not long back. He said there wasn’t a single salary listed that was correct.
